The hotel is beautiful, the staff are lovely and helpful and the facilities and location are second to none, highly recommend.

Be aware there is a recent change where you now need to provide a £50 deposit at check in on top of the rate for this premium hotel. This has been upped from the previous £1.01 hold. I have stayed here multiple times and as excellent as the hotel is, having to pay a deposit which will be kept from you for 2 weeks after checkout is a joke. Now there is no difference in outlay between this hotel and the many apartments available in close proximity with much more space and amenities such as jacuzzis, balconies etc

Great location

We arrived before check in and our room was ready but they wanted to charge £10 per hour to check in early. Not really acceptable if the room was ready anyway. We could have hung our clothes etc rather than have to do it at the end of the day

Hotel room was excellent. Very spacious, and airy. We loved the panoramic views of the city. Gigantic bed and very comfortable. Breakfast was tasty. We would definitely choose to stay again.

Unfortunately the room was missing the complimentary necessities such as milk for tea or coffee. Also no soap of any description in the bathroom to wash your hands. We had an empty box of what I can presume would have been bathroom items like soap. When we have stayed in their sister hotels in Cardiff and Exeter they have had lots of little items to enhance your stay. This room didn’t have any.

The location was convenient and loved the balcony and room set up. I liked how the security by the lifts were checking if everyone was a guest at the hotel, it was nice to know not anyone could just walk in. The breakfast was amazing and the restaurant staff were great. It was nice to eat breakfast with a view of Birmingham.

We were staying in a room with a balcony. We had no outdoor furniture, no ash tray or even a little table. We could see below us lots of outdoor furniture. When I rang reception to ask if we should have some furniture outside, we were told not necessarily. They said no one would bring any up, and if we wanted to sit outside we should use the chairs inside. I wouldn’t mind if there was a valid reason but there wasn’t, or if there was it wasn’t explained to me. There was a sign on the door to the balcony saying please use the ash tray and something else, how can we use what we don’t have? The reception staff member were not very helpful. The bed was very squeaky and creaky on the one side. The room could have done with a long mirror, so you can check outfits when getting ready

The hotel location was great as very close to train station, shops and casino. Hotel suite on 24th floor had great views over the city and the large king bed was very comfy, also the walk in shower had plenty of room and was the best shower in a hotel I've ever had. The restaurant on 25th floor also had amazing panoramic views, the breakfast was very good and restaurant staff very friendly.

Only minor things, the carpets in my suite and in the corridor were very dirty and stained so could do with being replaced. Also would of liked a properly staffed reception desk as 3 times had to wait for staff to come from back room as desk is on camera, and once had to wait 10 mins as receptionist was upstairs in restaurant getting her food, but when she arrived was very friendly and helpful.

The Cube is in a great location for The MailBox, China Town and The Bullring. The rooms are on the 23rd and 24th floor, so the views across Brum are amazing. Also, breakfast in MPW’s with the fabulous views is a perfect start to the day.

The only thing I would fault was that the floor had not been hoovered properly as there was a small toy on the carpet when we arrived and the mattress was far too soft. We kept meeting in the middle and hearing the springs creak. We were in room 2304

The location was great, the staff were very friendly and it was perfect for what we needed when visiting an event at the Utilita Arena. Rooms were clean and the breakfast at the MPW restaurant was great value too and we were very impressed.

The only criticism was the window in the room. It was tiny in the very corner so it did feel a little claustrophobic. The price we paid was for a standard room which wasn’t cheap but if you’re looking for great views of the city I’d suggest paying a little extra.

Well the Cube is a little higher than this YHA type lady normally stays so all boxes ticked. Thanks for booking me in so late as I have been busy. 24 hour staff, lifts, luxe living, fabulous linen, good carpet, sky high Manhattan style views of Birmingham, working fittings. Lovely breakfast with friendly respectful staff. Rock star 90s pictures of MPW, baby grande. Close to BBC, Mailbox, new developments.

The lift has programming issues so I didn't get off at the right floor then tracked back on stairs and got lost. We are talking 23 stories up which is a stretch for stairs and single ladies late. The doors were open. Good security on arrival and exit but I was given two key cards and a third was in the room so I returned one. Unsure what the fire drill was but modern electrical fittings. Mysterious telephone call late. I could see the railway station but found it difficult to walk back due to development in the area and signage.

Loved the location, it was very handy for the city centre. The beds were comfortable and the room was very nicely decorated.

Unfortunately the TV did not work as advertised, we did not have access to usual channels and the rooms WiFi did not work so we couldn’t cast to the TV. Informed the reception via email however did not receive a response despite them previously replying very quickly to an inquiry, nobody at the desk to help resolve this issue. Some mould on the plug in the shower.
