Good location. Excellent value for money. It is basically clean and safe. Very nice compared to the atmosphere outside. I decided to stay for two weeks.

Beds should be made up. I asked several times and the staff said they would, but they didn't, so I gave up. The lobby is spacious and comfortable, but the prohibition of bringing in food and beverages and the high pricing of beverages is offensive. For a bottle of coke, you can have a set meal outside with coke. The showers are prone to fill up with water and almost overflow. They should use a liquid that improves the plumbing. The male staff and security guards were courteous, but the female staff seemed little less hospitable by comparison.

The staffs were friendly and all smiles all the time, very accommodating, and the food was great.. The place is near to the malls, in front there are restaurants, laundry shop, massage centers, hair salon..very convenient to whatever the purpose of your stay. So far with our 1 week stay, it did not coast us a lot considering the situation of our emergency stay, it was out of the budget, yet, we spent right for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved the modern and clean design of the room and the bathroom, the great customer service, the fact that there were lots of outlets in the room, the mini fridge and hairdryer, the dispensers for shampoo and soap (minimizing plastic waste!), the rooftop bar, and the water dispenser on my floor near the elevators. Poblacion, Rockwell, Burgos, and even the CBD are just a short walk away.

Although I was placed in one of the quieter rooms of the hostel, the soundproofing still had some issues as I could hear the mass at the church outside and the sound of the TV in the room beside mine. It was good that the aircon was a bit loud as it was able to slightly drown out the noise of the TV. Although the towels smelled freshly laundered, they didn't look super clean as they were old and have been used over and over before. The double bed was two mattresses together, which would be uncomfortable if you liked rolling around the bed. I just chose which side I was going to sleep on (one of the mattresses was not as firm as the other one).

The room we rented "Family room with private bathroom" matches the photos, but the stairs to the second level are quite steep and uncomfortable. The staff is kind and helpful. The location is good, close to mall and market.

There were cockroaches crawling in our room and the bedroom mattress is on the floor. There are no clothes hangers and the room is very narrow and small for 3 or 4 people. The beds on the second level also have a mattress on the ground. One cannot stand upright at one's bedside. There is no place for luggage.

- Dorms/cubicles are spacious and beds are comfy - Bathrooms are being cleaned regularly - Washing machine and dryer are available - Fairly good location/not too far from the airport Finally, shoutout to the Security men downstairs for always greeting everyone with a smile! :) they watch out for Grab drivers when you leave/arrive at the premises and help with luggage/push the lift button for you. I just thought that was so nice!

- in dormitory room, everyone has their own large locker for suitcases and hangers and a small cabinet next to the bed, e.g. for documents/wallet - nice staff at the 24-hour reception - a few beds in the room - but you feel comfortable - a lot of space - they change the towel - in the bathroom you don't have to wait in line for a shower/toilet - the staff takes out the garbage and washes the floor on a regular basis - on the roof - skybar - you can eat breakfast, lunch or have a drink - a common place to relax - good localization

- minus only for the showers - they are often used by guests, so it is difficult to keep them perfectly clean

The Hostel: Well designed private room and common area. Relatively clean and in decent condition. Showers include hot water and good water pressure. Nice rooftop offering decent food, drinks and awesome views of the city. The Stay: The bed was very comfortable and the noise level is kept to a minimum. Air conditioner runs well. Location is ok, but requires a bit of travel to most attractions. However, everything is easily accessible via Grab taxi, scooter or metro. The Service: The staff were very kind and helpful.

Surface areas could have been cleaner. WiFi network only worked from the lobby (no connectivity from my room).

Modern facilities. Super comfy bed with universal plug and usb sockets, 2 different types of light and a dressing area with massive lockers that could even fit our 70L backpacks and day bag, with hangers and somewhere to put toiletries etc. £5 taxi from airport 24/7 security outside who will help you with your bags and are SO sweet, and the staff at the hostel are the same. Really lovely welcome to the Philippines!

Showers could be cleaner. Some of the breakfast stuff wasn’t THAT nice but the scrambled eggs and garlic rice were great. No milk for coffee only creamer

I was with my family, and this time, we booked a private room. Although the toilet was small, it had enough space for me to squirm around. I liked that Lub d offers everything. Their branding always makes you feel safe and comfortable throughout your stay, and that's what I always like about them. I liked that water was available inside the room, and they had an electric kettle for your coffee/tea. The room also had a mini fridge to store your face masks, beverages, and whatnot. Also, their TV works well! Hah. TV is the most challenging thing in many hotels I've been to. Although I'm not a fan of TVs, it was still a good thing to have, especially when you're about to go to bed and kill time. You always get value for your money when you stay with them.

I have always liked Lub d. Whether I go to Thailand or Cambodia, it's always a nice, safe feeling to stay there. They understand what travellers need: more outlets for charging, ample lighting, clean bathrooms, a blower, clean towels and linens. The staff was always accommodating, ready to attend to your needs and answer any questions. Maybe my experience this time was better because I was in a dormitory with no one else except this other lady. So the bathrooms and hallways were quiet, and there wasn't much noise either, so I enjoyed that. My flight got delayed, too, so I left my bag with my laptop inside. Since this is Lub d and I've always stayed with them when I'm in Makati or with other places, they kept my bag safe and just gave me a luggage tag. Having this kind of flexibility and understanding from them that I cannot carry my heavy backpack around Metro Manila is awesome. The facilities were also superb. They were in good shape, and they looked well-maintained. Thanks, Lub d!

Maybe she was tired, which I completely understand since it's a labour-intensive job (they need to stand and move around constantly), but the front desk staff wasn't amiable that night. I met other staff members before, and they were always cheerful. This wasn't my first encounter with her either, as I stayed in their lobby and availed of their 500PHP-consumable day pass for their workplace before, and she always looked unhappy and annoyed.
