The view!!!!! The room was large and clean, nothing fancy. But the views- spectacular- especially from the 3rd floor! Rooms 307 and 308 junior suites (very affordable on booking.com) had the most amazing views over the water on both sides, the marina, paddle boarders, the shipping channel and the hopping town along the Amador Causeway with a backdrop of the city center with all the skyscrapers. We sat on the terrace for hours, just mesmerized! The towels were a bit thin, the pool tiny and a bit weird, with diners at the next door restaurant overlooking, the breakfast was nothing to write home about, but the staff was lovely and the location just perfect. Bonus: an elevator!

Thin towels, the small, weird pool, but better than no pool! Breakfast needs a serious upgrade!

Wonderful proximity to all the beauty and fun of Amador and its attached islands, including Frank Geary’s BioMuseo on one end and the Ciao Bella restaurant on the other. We call that area Panama City’s “playground.” Sitting on our 3rd floor balcony provided a complete view of all the beautiful skyscrapers of downtown, gorgeous reflection of lights on the local lagoon, a fabulous moon rise, and so much more. It is the perfect setting at a very reasonable price. Just adjacent to the hotel is Mi Ranchito restaurant (wonderful food and outdoor covered dining ), the Smithsonian Institution research/museum facility at Punta Culebra, and a ferry terminal to Taboga Island. We absolutely love The Beach House!

Only 4 coat hangers in the closet, and no wall or door hooks for hanging clothes. No big deal!

We loved the location/hotel/staff/breakfast here! Not only is it right next to Punta Calebra (where you are almost guaranteed to see one of the 25 odd free ranging sloths they have there), you are also right in the middle of a very active area at both nighttime and morning (nighttime is when the families come out to stroll along the causeway, while the ‘cooler’ morning time sees all the runners/bikers/swimmers doing what they do). There are multiple restaurants nearby, along with a couple of bicycle rental agencies. Our room was large, modern, and very comfortable, while the staff were super friendly and capable. Our only regret was that we only had one night here (on our way to Taboga Island - the dock of the ‘slow’ ferry is about 100m away).

Our second level room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We always felt safe. The bathroom is exceptional with a walk-in shower and nice quality soap, shampoo, conditioner & lotion. The bath towels are above average. Wash cloths are provided. We had a room with two double beds, which seemed to have updated mattresses and good quality sheets & pillow cases. A fridge was included as well as a coffee maker. There is no better front desk service in terms of helpfulness and knowledge. The reception area always had a good selection of soft drinks, water, beer & snacks available at very reasonable prices. Restaurants are in close proximity. The mall is an easy walk. Flamenco Marina is a bit further.

I prefer a clothes bar in a closet for hanging things versus the hangars that detach from a horizontal rail. We were only there three nights so it wasn't any big inconvenience.

Location, value, clean, quiet EXCEPT for holidays. The view from the junior king suite and size of king suite is great, parking. Cleaning staff is awesome.

Underwhelming breakfast, bed is hard and uncomfortable but very clean. Reception staff is inconsistent and unwelcoming at times, depending on who is at the desk. The check out receptionist on Dec 22 was very nice and customer oriented. We liked her very much.. This was our third stay at your establishment since 11/26/2024.

The reviews that said it is very reliable and you can know what you’re getting are correct. The value was excellent. Not an “exciting” place to stay but the room was big, a balcony over the ocean, free parking and a real King size bed are not always easy to come by at this price. And it was clean and the breakfast was just fine! The fruit was fresh!

We were catching an early morning ferry from the port to the Pearl Islands and this hotel is perfectly placed close to the port - it was a 20 minute stroll with our cases along a straight road. There are some restaurants and nightlife around, it is a place where locals from Panama City come to the fun fair nearby and to cycle. It's great for an overnight stay if you want to catch an early morning ferry.

This hotel is a hidden gem. Extremely good value located very near the cruise terminal with easy access by taxi or Uber. Very clean, large and comfortable room (and bed). Large bathroom and shower. Very good restaurant right next door. Also next door to the Smithsonian Panama nature center -- a very nice attraction featuring a small aquarium and displays of Panamanian frogs, and sloths (only $8 admission for nonresidents).

Continental breakfast was a little sparse. Staff was very friendly but few spoke any English.

Nice hotel on Amador, very well located and decent rates. Huge rooms and great balconies.

No info about the history of this place as it clearly pre-dates the hotel era. Staff not very helpful and incredibly slow in processing simple information. Apparently one cannot use the little pool without someone monitoring the situation. Ridiculous given that everyone was adult and very good swimmers in a pool with 1 m depth.

The Beach House is in an area of Panama City that is quite lively. There are carnivals within walking distance as well as excellent restaurants and the like When cruise ships dock in Panama City the area comes to life. Even when there are no cruise ships in town this is the playground for those in Panama City to come and relax. The beach house sits back just far enough to be close enough to be in walking distance but far enough away so the hustle and bustle does not interfere with a good night's sleep. The rooms were clean and quiet, air conditioner was excellent, breakfast was tasty, and the staff, especially the lady who made the breakfast in the morning, well she is a gem! The neighborhood and whole area was very safe. I felt totally comfortable going for a run early in the morning and even at 10 at night. The walkways / running paths are well lit. If I get a chance to head back to Panama City , I'll book at the beach house for sure! J Gribble Marine on St Croix, Minnesota
