Breakfast was great. Local butcher prepares the sausages. Plenty to eat and the host made sure we had plenty to eat and drink. The dining area was nice, with one large table so we were able to chat to other guests.

Parking wasn't the best as the surrounding areas have free street parking. We found a space close to the B&B which was fantastic. However, the location is great and only a 5 minute walk into Keswick town centre. Once we were parked up, we didn't need the car.

Tim went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. It was a pleasure getting to know Tim. The room was a great size, and you can tell Tim is keen on cleanliness throughout the guest house. The location was perfect for us. It took us 5 minutes to walk into town, and there's lots of places to hike around the guest house. 5+ stars! A must stay

Breakfast was good but could have done with an extra piece of bacon and an extra sausage and a bigger fried egg. Otherwise good.

My brother and I are tall big people so the room was a tad small for us . The beds were very comfortable, I was fine but my brother couldn’t straighten his legs because of the end rails , so they are a bit short for anyone over 6ft tall .

Very clean and tidy. Lots of amenities in the room. Host was lovely and very helpful, gave us taxi numbers and a wonderful breakfast. Would highly recommend

There was a dog belonging to another guest staying at the property that barked and howled loudly all night and into the morning which kept me awake, but I can’t really blame the place or the host for that. It was just the only bad experience I had during my stay.

Tim was lovely! Happy and bubbly and gave us some brilliant tips on where to go on the motorbikes. Not to mention the cooked breakfast the next day - gorgeous. Room was cosy and the whole house was well kept and very interestingly decorated. We were also provided with our own off-road parking, which was so appreciated.

The location is excellent and only a five minute walk to the town. We had no issue locating a parking space near the property despite the street appearing to be busy. Our room was small which we were aware of, but it was clean and tidy and we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was excellent and prepared us for the day. We think it's a fantastic place to stay and would recommend it to everyone.

We arrived much earlier than the 4pm check in time due to the distance we travelled, however, Tim, was accommodating from the outset. The room had everything we needed and was freshened up each day whilst we were out. There was tea / coffee and biscuits available too (lovely biscuits!). Having read reviews before our stay, we had been a little apprehensive about how easy it would be to park each day, however, we parked right outside at all times. Breakfast was a great start to each day - Tim (and his very polite son) catered for all tastes and were happy to make changes upon request. Nothing was ever too much. Breakfast set us for our daily hikes and we found we didn’t really feel the need to eat again until around 3pm (very unusual for my partner who has to have his 3 meals a day) - even when climbing Helvellyn and Skiddaw!! We really enjoyed how sociable the breakfast set up was. It was good to hear what other guests recommended doing as well as their life experiences. Tim is a very friendly, knowledgeable host. He’s attentive to all his guests, showing interest in what they’ve been doing during their stay. It was also fascinating learning of Tim‘s many adventures. The location of this bed and breakfast is brilliant - only a few minutes from the centre of Keswick and the lake yet very quiet in the evening and during the night. This was a very straight forward stay and we will definitely be booking here again when we return to Keswick! Thank you!

Location was perfect, just an easy few minutes walk to the centre of Keswick. Tim was the prefect host, gave us all the information we needed and made us an excellent breakfast too!

Lucky for us we were able to park right outside the door but I feel it was just luck and on a different day finding a parking space could have been an issue.

Spotless and homely, one large dinning table allowed all guests to socialise over breakfast. Tim was a great host, very engaging and fab in the kitchen.

For me personally was having a private bathroom across the hall. Only because unfortunately I need the loo several times during the night. But I was already aware of the situation prior to booking.. and the bathroom was lovely
