We like the quietness of the place; breakfast was very good and both hosts were very friendly and helpful. Carpark at the venue was very convenient.

First impression was like " What have we done" unfortunately this property was involved in an accident where a truck smashed into their front fence and looked messed up with bricks laying on the floor. We do realized this happened only recently.

Good location close to town centre and local golf courses, rooms were good size and a good breakfast each morning. The hosts were lovely people and made us feel welcome, also helped us out with our travel plans up to Royal Troon for the Open.

Nothing to complain about!

Beautiful guest house. Really loved my room, it was incredibly clean and comfortable and the beds in particular were lovely. You got a nice big TV as well as a lovely desk and some chairs. Honestly couldn't fault it.

Really scraping the barrel but if I had to pick something then the breakfast was pretty bland and there wasn't espresso coffee/ coffee was very weak.

Spotlessly clean, good sized room, great TV. We received a lovely, warm welcome and our host was very helpful. Useful parking at the rear of the property. Good quality breakfast and excellent service.

Located a little out of the centre of Dumfries but not an issue for us and obviously that’s no fault of the owner. If being ultra critical, the bed felt a little lumpy, although my wife said her side was fine. We were only there 1 night so again not a real problem.

The hoose is located five minutes fae the railway station and 12-15 minutes fae the toun centre, so ideally placed as ye can walk everywhere almost. There's a big retail park about 15-20 minutes away headin back oot o the toun. Plenty parkin ahint the hoose. Large spacious room wi ample wardrobe space. Braw bathroom wi bath and shower. Brilliant breakfast and two lovely hosts. Hopefully be back in spring 2023.

Couldnae fault it at aw. The busy road ootside wisnae an issue. The toun o Dumfries is like maist ither touns, wi a wheen o empty units. The Doonhamers must hae the best hair in Scotland as every second shop wis a hairdressers !!!

Easy to find. Very friendly hosts. Excellent breakfast. Most comfortable bed in a spacious bedroom. No road noise even though facing the road. The Shower room looked as new. Both hosts were very knowledgeable about the area. Thank you for a great stay

All was perfect, including the parking spaces

The location is a little outside the town centre and although the room was at the front, it was quiet. The breakfast was excellent. There was parking onsite and there was a sitting area inside. The owners were very pleasant and helpful.

The owners were very welcoming also provided good breakfast , and lots of information on the area. There was also parking spaces at the property. As well as a lot of history around the area there were some good walks.

Felt the town itself looking a bit tired.

the property was clean, spacious and well equipped. the hosts were lovely, very friendly and approachable, answering all our questions regarding places to eat and the local area. excellent value for money. the breakfast was locally sourced and perfectly cooked. would highly recommend. we weee on motorcycles and there was private parking to the back of the property and out of the sight of passers by.

nothing to dislike

Lovely guest house in a nice residential area. 15 mins from town centre and only 10 mins from railway station. The hosts are lovely people. Derek made me very welcome on arrival. Room was big with a fabulous big bed and ensuite with bath and shower. I was so happy to have a fan in the room and there were 2 large windows that could be opened. Breakfast was very nice. Lovely produce well cooked. I would certainly stay here again if I'm on the area.
