Spacious room, with everything we needed -good air-conditioning , fridge, kettle, safe and regulars cleaning and top up of water, coffee etc. All staff helpful. Very nice pool. Best thing is location - a few metres to the fabulous beach, close to bars and restaurants and night market but - and VERY thankfully - quiet. No noise at all from those who want a noisier holiday than us!!! Good value. Thank you to everyone.

I could say that the pool was very warm but wouldn't expect much sympathy 🤣🤣🤣 I would like more than one small drawer to store clothes!

We had a lovely hotel room with a shower and balcony, great location and a nice pool

The description of the hotel was beachfront however from the actual rooms you couldn’t even see the beach which was a bit disappointing. The WiFi also barely worked in our room which meant the tv (which had Netflix) which would have been quite nice also didn’t work.

Lamai Inn 99 is exactly the sort of gem that is disappearing from the more popular beach resorts in Thailand. It's huts and rooms on the beach with all the comforts you want without any of the expensive nonsense frippery that has crept into many places. It has aircon (v.cold), good shower pressure, good sized balcony, comfy beds, a fridge, a safety box. It's all kept spotlessly clean by the most lovely staff. Amazing value for money. Sure, it's a little older than some places, but imo that's a good thing : it means the rooms are larger.

The beachside cafe attached to the hotel is a tad disappointing. However, walk 30 seconds to the left, and you arrive at the excellent Coconut Beach Restaurant.

Fantastic location, great quiet Bungalow on the beach, plenty of room and nice veranda to with sea view. Shower was great.

Sometimes maids a bit forgetful of water and toilet roll. Small issue with the safe on the last day.

The breakfast was amazing! Not a buffet like most places but came with a variety of options from Pancakes to smoothly bowls, and bacon and eggs cooked your way. Always served with coffee, juice and fresh fruit. Staff were amazing and attentive!

Rooms are an older style and would probably benefit from a renovation. But good value for money. They are clean and all amenities working.

Big pool, beach is like 1 minute walk from apartments, lots of restaurants around.

Nothing really bad, just a small refresh of apartments, a bit more cleaning and more lighting would help a lot.

Amazing location right on a beautiful spot of the Lamai beach, personally I think it was the best part of the beach, very clean, no rubbish, crystal water, rally grat for swimming. The beach front bungalow was very spacious and had its own terrace and sun loungers, just a few steps from the water. Spotless, daily cleaning, really well maintained. Great sea view from the bedroom window. The hotel is in the heart of Lamaii, walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants, night market, etc. Great value for money..

Nothing, everything was perfect. Just make sure you book the sea front bungalow as the other types of accommodation are across the road and don't have direct access to the sea, also there are no sun beds on the beach, just bean bags that belong to the bar/restaurant. Only the sea front bungalow has sun loungers in the shade of the palm trees.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel in Thailand. The rooms were cleaned daily, including fresh bedding, and you get two free bottles of water every day – a small but appreciated detail. The location is ideal: less than a minute’s walk to the beach. The hotel also has its own restaurant where you can enjoy breakfast or lunch. There’s plenty of seating, the service is quick, and the staff is very friendly. The resort’s swimming pool is another highlight. The water is chlorine-free but kept very clean, and there are plenty of seats, loungers, and parasols available to relax by the pool. Everything you need is close by. Within five minutes, you can walk to a 7-Eleven on the main street, which is lined with various restaurants offering Thai, Italian, and even döner kebab. Even closer, just around the corner from the resort, is a cozy restaurant called “Bamboo,” where the staff are welcoming and love a good joke. The food here is served within five minutes and tastes great. All in all, a very convenient and enjoyable place to stay. Highly recommended!

The location was extremely convenient, just directly on the beach (our room was the other side of a road, so no view, but 1 minute from the beach regardless), and close to "city center" area with shops, restaurants etc. Beach was also super clean and great for swimming. And very nice small pool in the courtyard. Room itself was very nice, big and clean, with very comfortable bed. Water was replaced every day. And good wi-fi. Staff was very friendly and open with their recommendations of activities and food around the area and on the island.

Just very small and not really important things. AC unit was a bit weird with the sounds it made - not sure what is the reason, but it was a bit loud and irregular with the noises. The hydromassage unit wasn't working in the pool - not really an issue when you have a whole ocean around, but just to mention. And perhaps having a "warmer" lights in the room would make the athmosphere in the room more cosy, if this makes any sense.
