Great location. Never before stayed in a hostel so I was nervous but hit full send and glad I did. The manager ensured I was on the quiet 3rd floor, 6 bunk mens dorm room for the duration of my stay, which was nice I feel like my roomates were for the most part quiet and considerate. Beds were comfy, loved the convenient plug and lamp and shelf. Plenty of smart storage under the bunk. Showers were a bit tight but I'm small so it worked well enough! Kitchen and common areas stayed clean and liked the big refrigerator to help save some money. Met cool people.
I feel like the hammocks were a little gross looking, and the curtains for the beds were loud! Also very young party crowd till late on the weekends but was in 305 which seemed to be the quietest room!

This place is nicely kooky -- it's like a maze inside this old house, and it's got some bonkers common areas like a mirrored "forest" of hammocks and some kind of suspended rope area folks were napping on? Plus a bar and games and stuff (and a gym and "cinema," which I didn't expect). I visited in late November and it was very, very quiet -- but I can see how it might draw a noisier crowd in warmer months. My bed (in a dorm of 6) felt super private with the privacy curtain (almost like a pod), folks were very quiet, I was really comfy. There are about a million bathrooms and showers, and everything was nice and clean. Plus, generous underbed storage! Easy walk to La Buche (fun place with Quebecois cuisine!).
The only downside for me was location. The location is not bad ALL ALL -- only about a 5-10 min walk outside the fortifications and along a major corridor of restaurants, etc leading to Chateau Frontenac, and pretty much adjacent to the Plains of Abraham (and along a #11 bus line I didn't know existed but didn't try out). For me, I just prefer to be slightly more central (ie to the train station) for convenience -- and it was like 28 degrees F and snowy when I was there so the walk in and out of Vieux Quebec each day felt longer than it was. Still, I had a really comfortable experience in the hostel itself and the price point was fantastic, so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it at all.

The mattresses are comfortable, and the underneath storage is very spacious but bring your own lock, they sell it 6$, it is very clean and the staff is wonderful, the hammock room is amazing, and my favorite by far. I also tried the private room and they are very worth it , very quiet and comfy
the curtain is noisy to move around in the bunk beds, and the kitchen is a bit small in a busy environment but manageable. The bar on the main floor is open late 3 am with loud music almost every night , I had to move from floor 2 to 3 to reduce the noise , I would not advise floor 2 if you want to sleep before 3 am and they should have it discounted.

A lot of cool facilities here including a hammock room, a small gym, small cinema room, various games and a reading room with a net you can climb up on. Location is really good only 10 minutes walk into Old Quebec and less than 5 minutes from great views of the river. I stayed in a 6-bed dorm and it was clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were clean. Large storage drawers under the beds that can be padlocked. Curtains on the side of the bed for an extra bit of privacy. Extra a blankets are available too.
Kitchen can get quite busy at peak times.

The most comfortable beds I have stayed in. Each bed had everything that was needed - a privacy curtain, a shelf, a light, and an outlet, with lots of storage space in the room also. There are many cool and interesting facilities, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The entire property was also immaculately clean - we were very impressed.
The stairwell was very poorly lit, and is hard to see even during daylight. My partner slipped on the stairs because she couldn't see. It's only a matter of time before someone injures themselves here if nothing is changed.

Excellent reception service. Excellent clean room. Very quiet.
No bar service , that's a disappointment . It's definitely a huge loss of profit as there is no bar service from autumn to early summer . Also no restaurant or no breakfast available . No elevator, it's painful to carry luggage to the 4th floor . Please invest in larger and softer bath towels. Just small towels and very hard . It's a 30 minute walk to Rue St Jean. To find any activity

Everything was amazing. It is trully an amazing hostel and absolutely worth the price. Location, welcoming staff, how clean, socialization activities, kitchen, lounge zones, playing areas, etc - everything was marvelous. Thank you guys.
1) Parking is absent or at least not covered with the price. 2) Poor Wi-Fi. It is awful, that is why I used my own mobile Internet. Oh, my Gosh, how slow it was... Everything else, was fantastic. I will definitely visit them again.

Really liked the location, and the beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of different rooms and potential hang spots. Ms Pac-Man machine was a fun surprise!
Bit of a bummer that the bar was closed, but that makes sense because it was off season, no helping that. Also struggled to get out of the upper bunk, but again that was my own issue because I'm a giant, and I chose the upper bunk instead of a bottom bunk lol

I loved the location, it is exactly on the main road that leads to the old town. It looks like a castle and it was very clean. In addition there was a beautiful kitchen with two ovens, spacious freezers and everything that you need for cooking. Moreover there is a cinema and library. This place is perfect for young people to hang out and spend weekends in Quebec together.
Small remarks that can make this place even better. Bed sheets should be made of cotton instead of polyester. If you increase the height of the bed it will help to sit on the first level.

The hostel has a lot of common areas. There is a movie room, small gym, bar (with beer pong table, foosball table and giant Jenga), a "forrest room" with a bunch of hamocks and a "library" with a kind of net-trampoline. Over all a really big space. The kitchen was quite big and well equipped. I stayed in a 6-Bed Dorm which was decently sized and had air conditioning. Everything was clean and the mattresses were very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and the location of the hostel is amazing. It is on a popular and beautiful street with a few restaurants and the old town as well as downtown are both in walking distance (Old Town: ~10min; downtown: ~15min) there are also bus stops nearby if needed.
The beds look good but are a bit poorly designed. They are not very tall which means you can't sit up straight in your bed even if you're a small person. Also the curtains are attached to a metal railing with metal rings which made opening and closing them very loud. The bar unfortunately wasn't open at the time of my visit but at least we were allowed to drink our own alcohol there. Some organized events like maybe a game night or similar would have been nice.
