Amazing location in Murray Hill. We were upgraded to the Penthouse apartment, which was HUGE and had a balcony w an Empire State Building view! Also had Chrysler building views from one of the bedrooms! Such a great stay. The new restaurant on the ground floor is very stylish and welcoming, the staff could not have been more friendly!

The welcome. I hadn't visited New York before and having spent most of the day travelling by plane, trains and foot, I was both tired and nervous on arrival at the hotel. But the warm and friendly greeting from Luis at the reception made me feel relaxed and at home immediately. Offering suggestions to tourists on places to eat and visit is doubtless part of the job, but he did it with genuine interest on what my preferences were, and his advice was extremely helpful. The room was great, and I couldn't believe, on raising the blind, that I got a great view of the Empire State Building. And then I was looking at it again a little later as I ate an excellent Waldorf salad at the hotel's rooftop bar, and sipped a Manhattan cocktail (what else?). The location is ideal - less than 10 minute walk from the nearest subway station (Grand Central/42nd Street), and in easy distance from the places you want to visit.

Location is brilliant, just down from Grand Central Station and in a pleasant neighbourhood with restaurants, cafes and bars. Within walking distance of Times Square and Broadway, Union Square. Staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Room was extremely comfortable. Would stay again

When we arrived Stephanie at the front desk was amazing. She gave us a upgrade as we told her it was our moms 70th birthday! She wad so kind. Our room had a magnificent view of the Empire state building that never got old. The 2 door men on Friday and Saturday night of Nov 8th and 9th were amazing (Jean and David I think). Bathroom was a little dated but king bed was super comfotable. Also hotel was super close to grand central so made it easy to get around. But in general to take Ubers to other destinations was decently priced as well (for NY prices). Overall great stay and would definitely recommend. Also the rooftop restaurant was absoutley delicious and the view was one of the best we went to in NYC!!!!

Room size for NYC was incredibly generous and comfortable - bigger than every other hotel I have stayed at. Staff were really friendly and helpful at all times, and perfect location for navigating the city. I can't rate my stay at the hotel any higher!

I don't like it when hotels charge junk fees like the "resort fee."

It's Location. Wether you wanted to go up or downtown the location is really quite central. We intended to walk a lot to get the real feel of the city and it was amazing for that reason. We had a double room with a kitchen. It was a really good size considering its NY. Beds were really comfortable. Being in a very residential area you also had Diners, Super markets, Liquor store all with a very short walking distance. Murray Hill is a great neighbourhood. We went to 3 shows on and off Broadway. They're expensive, yes but still an experience worth paying for.I done all the usual tourist attraction on previous trips but the "The Rock" was a new one and it was OK.

Really not a lot. America has got extremely expensive for dining out and the attraction are at lot more expensive.Its beed 15 years since I was last in NY so maybe thats to be expected but other people I met from UK wha had travelled there in more recent years were saying the same.

The location was at a very good spot all the main attractions were nearby and could walk to them, the staff is so nice and welcoming

One thing I was upset about was the free breakfast, online and when I booked the hotel says free breakfast and that’s not true, it’s breakfast at the restaurant connected to the hotel and we went to try it and the food was not good in my opinion. Another thing is it’s a very nice hotel and looks fancy but in my restroom and room the wall was scratched and falling off so I wish the rooms were more new and updated if I spent allot of money to spend my nights there.

This was our third time to stay at this hotel. The property is well maintained. The rooms are definitely bigger than comparably priced NYC hotels. Our bed was comfortable. The a/c kept the room cool. The kitchenette is a nice touch. The closet and dresser held all our clothes for a six night stay. The walk to Grand Central Station is fairly easy for the subways. The staff was not overly friendly but professional. We ate all our meals out so I can't comment on the hotel's restaurant. We would definitely stay here again.

A lot! Location within good walking distance to iconic NY monuments, comfortable accommodation, courteous and professional service from all staff with complimentary goodies on offer, close to local amenities i.e., bars, diners, convenience store and restaurants, great transport links via Grand Central station, access to in-house dining and rooftop bar. Got to experience: Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, Black Friday sales, and lighting of the iconic Rockefeller Center Christmas tree!
