Excellent location with perfect connections to MRT stations. Close to City Hall (undercover), Clarkes Quay and Fort Canning all nearby. Perfect for solo travellers with safe, accessible and budget friendly accommodation. Access to cold and hot water stations was very useful for keeping hydrated. If you’re visiting as a tourist try to request a city view room. I fluked it, but it made my experience all the better. It would have been quite different getting an inward facing room. Funan shopping complex has everything you need - supermarket (B1), food court and restaurants either side (the dumpling/Chinese restaurant tucked away was delicious - I found it on my last day). By far my favourite part of my stay was the roof top garden with, in my opinion, one of the best views in Singapore and worthy of a sunrise visit.

The accommodation has a hostel feel to it but for not a huge difference in price from a hotel. It is, however, a hotel with private rooms. The co-living atmosphere gives communal vibes which I was seeking but perhaps not the shared fridge, etc. I stayed 9 nights with 1 light clean and 1 regular clean, a further clean before night 7 (main clean) would have been good. Rooms are perfect for solo travel but I wouldn’t recommend for travellers sharing rooms - there’s not a lot of scope for privacy with the bathroom and the bed configuration wouldn’t be great for sharing. Perhaps if sharing, get the twin bunk room if that’s something you’d consider. A great stay - just offering the helpful tips and insights gained from my stay.

The hotel is very new and equipped more for a long stay and work: has an open space for work, meeting rooms, huge shared kitchen, coffee machine, lunch room, washers and dryers, gym, terases, all new and well equipped. Each floor has a common mini fridge and water cooler/warmer. The rooms are private and secure(you can access only your floor).Big shower and comfy large bed, shampoo/soap/etc, hair drier, good internet, AC, all the amenities you need in a hotel room. Everything is very clean and new, the house keeping is done at reasonable times (every 3 days). The location is amazing, close by foot to every major attractions and in a very secure area. The hotel is on top of an mall, so you have groceries/food court there, plus a lot of activities: climbing/shopping/cinema.

The main kitchen needs more coffee mugs :D

I understand that it is hard to live without ac in Singapore. But on top of the whole city/building being on extremely active air conditioning, the fan of the ac unit in the room was directly aimed at the bed. The result was one of us getting sick because of the constant ac abuse and fan running on top of him during sleep. We consequently, lost precious time staying inside resting and recovering, instead of being outside exploring the city. The room could also have a simple spare bed sheet (which would be more than enough), instead of a thick blanket. It is hard to understand: hot outside, cold inside, use a thick blanket to stay warm inside.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Super modern and eco-friendly hotel! It seems people book it also for long-term stay (a few people work there during daytime, many washing machines available). You can get cold drinks at the reception as self-checkout; there's a super spacey kitchen with like 10 microwaves. The entrance is located inside the mall (take the elevator to your very first right opposite to McD), I had troubles to find the access first. The mall is the most interesting mall I've ever been to - great open, innovative concept. You can have breakfast there (I recommend Kaya toast on B2 level for a true Singapore experience, handy that it's also directly in MRT direction), they also have a small supermarket, and many more interesting shops and leisure activities. After I stayed here, I finally understood why Singaporeans love to visit malls. On weekends it's very crowded though (as in all Singapore malls). I am glad I booked this hotel! For this central location it was the most cost-effective choice for me.

There's noticeable music playing in the common area which (due to the open architecture) was audible from my room even around 10/11 PM. Sometime at night it was turned down though, so I wasn't bothered by it. WiFi is not very stable, I got frequent outages of 10-30 seconds. So I was grateful to get a "real" key card to my room so I didn't have to rely on the app to unlock my room (the app is also not always very reliable). I think for some people it might be good to know that this is really a very modern hotel with younger guests and younger staff. It feels a little like a hostel but with hotel rooms! I was fine (32), but if I think of my parents (60+, German), I think for them it might be a little strange to stay there.

The windows didn't keep much noise out, take ear plugs if you stay here. The bed being pushed up against the wall was a bit awkward but not the end of the world. The location and facilities make up for it.

Room was kind of small, cleaning only every three days which os fine for a long stay but we were staying 4 nights so felt pointless, gym is not good so had to pay for one next door which was expensive

The facilities in- and outside the room are very good, having shared fridges, microwaves, frequent drinking water dispensers, a very modern and well equipped kitchen, a decent gym space and the co-working space near reception. The bed is comfy and the room spacious and clean. The location is good, right inside the mall with a food court in the basement as well as a supermarket and quick access to coffee. Quick walk to boat quay, Fort Canning park and a taxi stand right in front of the door.

Unfortunately, even if the A/C is turned off there is still coming quite a lot of cold air which makes it uncomfortably cold. I know Singaporeans like their rooms freezing cold, but there are other people who have a different temperature feeling. Besides that, the co-working space is good but due to mostly kids using it as a play area also very loud and noisy. There are rules written on the walls that each person working should keep their voice down when talking on the phone but that wasn't obviously the problem here.

I loved the location of the place - right in the middle of everything! Bed was good and comfy especially after the previous hotel which I stayed and couldn't sleep the night due to the hardness of the bed. That was the main reason to stay in this hotel. Room is small but it has everything needed: sort of a loft constructor. I stayed alone so for me was perfect. Not sure how it is if you stay with someone as it's quite small. Everything is clean and soundproofed. Also cute design inside.

I asked for a quite room - it was sort of quite as facing the street with the Fire station and some alarm could be heard even at night ;(

We are a Spanish couple, and we stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. It is not a typical hotel with a restaurant or other services. Instead, it is a very modern and clean co-living space with some shared self-service facilities (laundry, kitchen, Starbucks coffee machine). Although the areas are shared, you have a private room with all the amenities. We booked the 'Estudio One of a Kind,' and the room is of an appropriate size and very well designed. It doesn’t have closets but includes storage furniture. The hotel is strategically located for tourism and is inside a large, modern mall with many activities and restaurants.

The gym was smaller than it appeared in the pictures; it only had some dumbbells and 2 Airbikes. However, the mall has a gym, and although it is not included in the hotel price, it is located just behind the hotel reception. Construction work was being done on the building in front of our window, and it was very noisy at night. However, this may be temporary, as we stayed in September 2024

Everything was wonderful. Who wants to get out of such a comfortable bed (mattress)? The room is designed perfectly. Everything is thought of. Location is great. MAKE sure to use the underground pass from City Hall station to Funan shopping mall, instead of walking the street. Elevator to the hotel is near McDonald's, inside the mall. Washing machines and dryer - the dryer is extremely hot, so I'd recommend staying in the lobby and taking out the items out of it with consideration.

The only thing to improve is a VERY unstable and narrowband wifi connection in the room.
