Breakfast was ok. The pool was lovely. Staff were exceptional, always friendly and helpful. I booked for three people online, checked that there was extra bed for our child, also put this in the booking request. It wasn't and they wanted another $100 for the extra bed per night.This should be made clear in the booking, there was no mention of extra cost at the time of booking. It made for an uncomfortable stay.

In general nice hotel, but with room for improvements.

Check-in area 1st floor next to the restaurant, not enough check-in counters Gym very poorly equipped, one of the worst 5 star hotel gyms I have ever seen. Aircon and light control unit quite complicated, especially for older people, additional option to switch lights on and off manually recommended Windows are soundproofed, the doors are not, you can hear every cough and conversation from the floor.

*The lack of any chair in the room. *Complicated high tech system for switching off the room lights.

Absolutely loved our stay - it exceeded our expectations in every way. Check in was smooth & we loved the little welcome note and details in our room to wish us a happy first wedding anniversary! The hotel itself was lovely, very clean and brilliant facilities. Our room was heavenly - the bed was so comfortable! Breakfast was brilliant, loads of options and great quality. Best of all, the staff were all amazing - friendly, helpful, polite and 10/10 service. Thank you for having us, you made our stay in Singapore - we would definitely stay again & will be recommending you!

Only small improvement would be that we couldn’t set the air con in the room to stay at a consistent temperature, the temp kept rising!

Having landed from a long haul flight with young children in tow, we were delighted an early check in could be accommodated. This really was outstanding for us as we desperately needed some rest upon arrival. The kids were gifted with some sweet treats in the room which was a lovely touch. The pool was great and the kids enjoyed it very much. The staff were friendly and helpful especially the porters on the ground floor who helped us get taxis.

The only minor thing was the miscommunication about breakfast times. On the welcome letter it stated the wrong times, which only came to light when arriving for breakfast when it was in fact finishing. However, they were kind enough to allow us to eat albeit it was a bit rushed since they were clearing up and the kitchen was closing.

Well located Good pool Nicely renovated rooms Polite and helpful staff. Kept our belongings for a couple of day after check-out. Coffee drips are nice and tasty

Well 1st of all we booked a room for 3 including kid of 9. However the 1st room was not suitable as there were no sleeping space for a kid. No additional beds are available. So after rather tough discussions our room was changed to a one with a coach (free of charge). The main disappointment is that the hotel tried to bill additional SGD 100 (in our case it was additional SGD 1200 or so for a stay) per night for that (however even on the hotel website the room with a coach was slightly different, i.e. SGD 150-200 per whole stay. So those travelling with a kid - be prepared. Also very tiny breakfast area close to reception (was quite crowded during our stay) Smart Home panel in the room was badly located and very unresponsive. Would prefer normal switches.

The room was really spacious, clean and super quiet on a night. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The location was excellent for us, about a 15 minute walk to the main attractions but also has a train station really close and we used that constantly throughout our stay. Also loads of great food places nearby and we found they were less touristy which meant authentic food and great prices.

The room did have much of a view but we weren’t fussed as we didn’t spend much time in there.

This is my go to hotel in Sg. Smaller boutique hotel that doesn't ever feel overly busy which I love. Facilities are great, pool is amazing and I love that reception is on the 3rd level so you can bypass it on your way up the lift to your room. It just makes it feel more like apartment living. The guys in the foyer are cool, really friendly and helpful.

The only thing that could make this hotel better is a larger gym. In my experience not to many people use it. I found myself avoiding it not because I didn't want to use it, just because if anymore than 2 people are in there at the same time it feels cramped.

This hotel is one of my best kept Singapore secrets. I love it. It's classy and cool with modern decor and facilities. The room I stayed in is smaller than what I'm used to however they have made such exceptionally good use of the space that you really do not notice it. The layout is smart and modern. The bathroom is glass walled which I thought was strange due to the lack of privacy however I then discovered a switch that automatically closes blinds inside the shower to block out the view. The pool is a great size and during both of my stays here was never crowded. In fact I had it to myself most of the time. This location for me is a nice change from Orchard. I have recently discovered the wonders of Boat Quay which (10min walk) with great riverside dining and many bars in the parallel street. Found a pretty loose expat bar right next to the bridge that has a pool table right out front. I play quite well so have developed quite a reputation for myself there now. Also Clarke Quay is also a short walk along the river if you're looking for something else. Shopping in the area is fine with Funnan Mall across the road and Bugis market or a trip into Orchard road is a short GRAB ride away. Will be staying here everytime I travel to Sg which is 4 times a year these days.

I'm a bit of a gym junkie and unfortunately the gym here is lacking, small space and tight between equipment. Anymore than 3 people will feel uncomfortable. Thank fully it's rarely used from what I've seen and I've had it to myself on most ocassions.

Very good location, well kept rooms, great helpful staff.
