As a single tourist, I really just needed a clean and comfortable room. Everything was neat and tidy, and the bathroom kept in very good condition. There were plenty of bathrooms for the guests and I found the bathroom engaged only once during my stay.

The only thing that I think was not up to standard was that I think the blanket provided was not washed.

Location. Easy access to building. Allowed me to store my bag before and after check in. Checked in over the phone. Easy check in

I had no towel the first day, and there was no one in the building. No one answered the phone, and there was no phone for texting. Left VMs, and no one got back to me. Facilities look dirty and dingy. My room wasn't clean. The 2 thin sheets were wrinkled, and I had no blanket. Fortunately, I travel with a small blanket and pillow and bathroom product.

At first I thought I got locked out because I checked in late and there were no staff. It turned out the staff emailed me the access and my room nuber/passcode. I got to settle in with no trouble (thanks to another guests returning from late night activities reminded me to check my email as we met as he walked inside the property). So for late check-in people, remember to check email from the hotel.

The area around my bed could have been cleaner. The cleaniness of the bed sheet and comforter were okay. But the hard surfaces around the bed had some hair from the previous guests. Not just a few strains, but one of them formed a tiny hairball... (which was kind of gross). I don't expect top quality from this room price. But I think this is slightly below it... I expect housekeepers could at least do some basic vacuuming around the bed where my face and my body is close to.

At a time of year when the cost of staying at a hotel in Manhattan was through the roof, the hostel offered a helpful alternative. The cost, while still expensive, was reasonable, but the facility was well-maintained, the bed comfortable, and the shared bathrooms were clean.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. The place is close to Penn Station, easily reached within a few minutes' walk. I would stay here again if hotels continue to be unaffordable.

The facility is a few blocks south of Moynihan Train Hall. It is convenient to trains. Room 2C was spacious overlooking 29th Street. The bed was comfortable. The room was tastefully decorated.

I had hoped to check in early or to leave my luggage at the facility at 11 am. I called to leave a message and received no call. I went in person to ring the doorbell to elicit no response. I then carried luggage for the day until I check in around 5 pm. Although there were two rest rooms on my floor, both were occupied so I had to walk up a flight to locate an empty restroom. I had to provide my shampoo, conditioner, and soap. The room lacked a telephone and a television.

the rooms are quite nice and private.

I originally booked for 5 nights. Then I talked to some guy from Lamar on the phone. when I checked in, they had no booking for the extra 2 days. I had proof of my booking , but it didn't matter. I wasn't charged for the 2 nights.

The rooms were good, the bathrooms clean (as far as that is possible with several users), the location was perfect for a weekend to explore the city! And you occasionally meet nice people in the kitchen to chat.

Since our stay I have been trying to get an invoice from the accommodation. I wrote an email both via booking.con and separately. Unfortunately, after two weeks and several reminders, nothing has been answered.

be aware that the checkin timeframe actually means there is no one on site to let you in to drop off a bag except during those times. you must arrange in advance if you want to drop a bag earlier than 3 pm or if you plan to arrive after 8 pm or you wont be able to get in.

the rooms could use a little finesse amenity wise, but you can't beat the price or the location. If you just need a place to sleep while out in the city, Incentra is an ideal place
