Wow! What a surprise- perfect location to walk to restaurants and get to broadway shows. The Casablanca theme was so cool and the vibes were calming especially in the lounge/ with comfy chairs and fireplace. We so enjoyed meeting other guests there in the evening The breakfast was like continental on steroids😉. Perfect for a kickstart for each day.. and the serving staff made us feel like family. The managers should be very proud of them. The front desk team were so helpful and friendly. Thanks to them for making us feel at home throughout our stay. Lastly the housekeepers were very nice folks and did an amazing job keeping our room so clean. Will return here again!

All 👍 although the room radiator heat was difficult to maintain the temperature. Got very warm and had to keep opening the window at night but we got used to it.

This place is an absolute gem in the heart of the city! It gives you the comfort and feel of old-world New York, complete with excellent staff and customer service, clean rooms, a cafe stocked with 24-hour coffee, snacks and beverages, and very comfortable lounge areas to relax. It’s located directly in Times Square and just a two-minute walk from a very clean and major subway hub that can take you all the way to Battery Park for the Statue of Liberty, or uptown to FAO Schwartz and the Empire State Building (both of which are also within a 15 min walking distance) or the Museum of Natural History. We traveled with our young children and felt very safe, and the staff was so kind, and we could not have had a better and more memorable experience!

This was the perfect location and stay for us as we attended a Broadway show and did a little overnight stay. The staff took care of everything for us- they were engaging, helpful and so friendly! They had a great suggestion for everything. They took care of dinner reservations for us and timed it perfectly for the 7pm show! the rooms were spacious very clean. The 24hour snack bar was so convenient! Parking was a no hassle- as the garage was next door. We will never stay anywhere else in the future!!

This was our first visit to New York and we choose Casablanca for its location and it’s reviews We were not disappointed. Just two minutes walk into Times Square and Broadway The breakfast was delicious and far exceeded our expectations Ricks cafe on 2nd floor is relaxed and lovely spot to chill out anytime during the day. We enjoyed the treats coffee/tea included in our stay The staff are so friendly. They booked an open topped bus tour on our first day. Unfortunately the bus didn’t stop at the stop at Bryant Park. That was disappointing. However when we got back that evening to our room the reception had left a complimentary bottle of wine as a gesture of goodwill

The staff at Hotel Casablanca were very welcoming and friendly everyday regardless of the time. We unfortunately had to cut our trip short due to a family emergency but the team bent over backwards to help us work out the situation and were so helpful. Our room at the Casablanca was cozy and all we needed for our New York stay. It was very clean and tidy and the bed was so comfortable!!! We were at the rear of the hotel which meant we had no view to speak of but this was amazing to keep the noise of Times Square out of the room. The hotels location was perfect and within spitting distance of Times Square and all of its madness. The breakfast at the Hotel Casablanca was a perfect selection to start the day exploring New York. The staff were very helpful and kept the area well stocked and clean.

The Casablanca's location is excellent, tucked away beside Times Square it gives you immediate access to the hustle and bustle of NYC. The hotel is clean and the hotel staff are a masterclass in customer service. Nothing is too much trouble for them. For this reason alone it is worth a visit. The rooms are sizeable, we had a living room, bedroom and bathroom included. The rooms are a little tired, but if Casablanca was remade in the 80's, this is what the rooms would look like. If you love retro chic then the Casablanca has it by the pound. From the staircase to the sitting area it shouts kitsch. There nothing to dislike here. Apart from maybe the fact it's a little noisy.... but it's NYC the noise is part of the charm.

There is nothing to dislike. However, if you go to the Casablanca expecting a modern, contemporary hotel then you will be disappointed. Go for the ambience and buy into it's charm. You won't be disappointed.

From check in to check out, everything was seamless. My family and I really enjoyed the impeccable service, cleanliness & comfort of the rooms, and convenient location to shows and Times Square. The queen room was quaint and cozy. The bed was so comfortable! The executive king was spacious and also just as comfortable. Nice touches like robes and slippers really gave added comfort. The convenience of Ricks Cafe allowed for 24 hours access to snacks and refreshments made our stay all the more special and comfortable. I really appreciated the espresso/cappuccino machine. The parking garage was right next door with special rates for guests. They also helped arrange transport for me to JFK. My family and I would definitely recommend Casablanca and would absolutely stay here again.

Continental breakfast was suitable. But, it would be nice to have a few more gluten free options.

What a gem Casablanca hotel is. I brought my 10-year-old daughter to New York for this first time and, of course, she wanted to be in the thick of it all. I was hesitant to stay in the midst of the hustle and bustle, but went for it. I cannot believe how peaceful, tasteful, and quiet this hotel is given it's location. We walked to two Broadway shows, multiple restaurants, and had easy access to the Subway which we took all over. I have told multiple friends, including New York locals, about Casablanca and will be back without a doubt. I also need to mention how friendly the staff are.

The family triple room and the mini suite were both excellent rooms with plenty of space especially for central NYC (and even had a small bath). The location was perfect for Broadway shows, yet the road out front was never that noisy. We really liked the all day access to the seating area with free tea/coffee and pastries which was great to stop back at the hotel to revive. The breakfast was limited but perfect for our needs with a hot bagel, porridge, pastries and fruit. The reception staff are so super friendly and always on hand to help, or even have a chat.

Coffee in NY is generally nasty and NY at Christmas is expensive!
