Excellent location. We were able to walk to many attractions. Well appointed spotlessly clean apartment, equipped with all the amenities of home. All the staff were exceptional - always a warm, friendly welcome and showing genuine interest in our daily activities. Big shout out to Kevin, who was a joy! - so nice to have uplifting and happy interaction, which made our stay extra special 🤍

There wasn’t too much, but why we dropped a couple of points on rating….thought the lifts were very dark and gloomy…. could be an age thing, as we’re in our mid sixties - but was a bit uncomfortable when we used them. The air conditioning in our bedroom was extremely noisy, which disturbed sleep. No hairdryer in room.

The added light breakfast on the roof terrace each morning was delightful. We were given an upgrade and our room for three was terrific, specially for an 8 night stay. All hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Special mention to Ceasar and Kevin on the front desk who went over and above to be incredibly friendly, fun and kind. The day it was pouring all day, the hotel provided umbrellas to everyone- a special touch ❤️ I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you again AKA team for a wonderful stay.

Nothing it was all terrific

Location was excellent and not too noisy for being so close to Times Square. Service from all reception staff was impeccable and friendly along with great service form the housekeeping staff. Right in the center of the theatre district and actually right between 2-major theaters either side. Good range of restaurants next door and across the road and many others nearby. Only a few-minutes walk to Times Square. Our upgrade to 2-seperate bedrooms for ourselves and our daughter was well worth it and the living space was very comfortable with plenty of room including a good size work desk for my personal computer. Bedding was very comfortable. The kitchen was great to have (very expensive to eat out for all meals). The washer and dryer was also extremely handy to wash/dry clothes conveniently.

Additional ventilation for cooking to prevent setting off smoke alarm. Once we did this the first time we were careful not to create too much smoke while cooking. Having the toilet in the bathroom sometimes meant having to utilize the toilet in the gym area when the apartment bathroom was busy, (not a big issue).

The location is right bang in the middle of Time Square. The rooms are massive and we love the laundry service. There are many major stations around the hotel, all within 5 minutes walk. super convenient! The staff here are all so lovely and amazing, a big contrast to the wild world out of the hotel. We spent two weeks there and we truly felt like home.

The noise from Time Square is unavoidable. It is common to hear emergency vehicles or horns at 3am. The convenient location also means it’s a traffic jam everyday trying to walk to the train station. Room service is scheduled once a week! Can be tricky for a family.

I came back to the AKA hotel after 10 years and felt at home again right away! The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. Our apartment had a kitchen with coffee machine, Toaster etc. we had breakfast every morning in the room.

The fridge in the room is loud, but if you switch off the ice maker, then it is a bit better ;-)

This hotel is well located, and the staff are all so nice and helpful.

The only reason they didn’t get full marks was because we had just one too many things go wrong. None of these were the fault of the hotel but, the water was yellow when we arrived (which cleared eventually), the sage didn’t work, the was a payment issue which I wasn’t told about and it’s caused me some problems, and there was a horrible noise coming from the pipe work which forced a late night room move. Non of these are the hotels fault and I am sure these types of things are rare but this time they all happened to us over a 5 day period.

Location in d heart of time square !! Room are spacious,modern and clean … the stafff are very professional and welcoming all of them no exceptions ( Jerrell, Elliot , Tina, Kevin, Devyn, Miguel, Julio, Cesar and Mohamed)

Nothing I feel like I’m home and between my family

The location of the hotel was perfect. All staff were really helpful and friendly and were always available when needed. Our city suite was a great size for a week long visit, the bed and pillows were very comfortable, the bathroom was beautifully appointed with a powerful shower, decadent bath and fantastic hot water

Our room was rather loud given the location so double glaze windows would be good to dull some of the street noise. More lighting in the bedroom is needed as it was too dark with just the lamps. Some glasses would be good to make full use of the wet bar in the room. Advertising a Bar upstairs is misleading as there are no facilities, a functioning coffee machine and bar fridge with soft refreshments would make the area more enjoyable

Location was amazing being about 100m to centre of time square. The room was huge and the plenty of space for luggage and room to lounge around. The staff were amazing and always went above and beyond to assist you whenever they saw you

Location and room are excellent. Breakfast needs to improve with more option and very limited serving and no staff dedicated for refilling.
