I don’t have nothing bad to say about the hotel, Everything was perfect and I well definitely go back there ga again. Very nice staff they are so friendly.

Fabulously clean and extremely nice shower in room. Lovely fabrics for towels and bedding. Quiet location but still very near city centre. Huge TV. Lovely Spa package with fantastic staff and facilities there. Spa (nextdoor to hotel) was immaculately clean.

The hotel room I had (‘snug room’) became very hot during the night and I could not get the AC to work or the window to open. No instructions for the AC unit, just couldn’t figure it out I’m afraid. Also couldn’t get only the bedside lights to work without the ceiling ones as well. Had an interconnecting door with the room nextdoor which was fine and the door was locked, but I could hear their conversations all evening, didn’t feel very sound proofed and the light from their room was shining into mine round the door when I turned my light out. Being charged for bottled water in the room wasn’t great. Never paid for water anywhere before and I’ve stayed all over. This needs a rethink by management I feel. (It’s the summer, people need to stay hydrated)

I stayed here for a little retreat as a surprise for my mrs, I must say I expected it to be nice but I was impressed from the minute I reached the front desk to check in, the room I will say the pictures do not do this place justice as it was perfect bathroom also perfect, I requested balloons etc and we walked through the door to a blanket of balloons covering the floor and rose petals on bed with extra special decorated plate with brownie and icing etc, I was very impressed to say the least and my mrs said the room was beautiful. Thank you also I must add the pool on the 7th floor is immaculate and impressive better in the morning around 9am as not many people will be there then so you have the place to yourselves.

Great hotel for the price. Comfy bed and room, nice quiet part of town so no road noise. Good water pressure, fantastic shower and bathroom facilities.

Room service very expensive. Sub par Caesar salad which was just shredded lettuce and dressing was £12, added chicken for £5 and I wouldn't say there was even 30g worth. We unfortunately had to get up at 6am to go to the local tesco to get some water. Only 1 small bottle of water in the fridge which was £2.50, which we had, but the water which came out the tap was too hot to drink. Sky Tv didn't work very well.

We had a fabulous stay at kingstreet townhouse, the hotel and spa are absolutely gorgeous & the location is perfect for lots of great spots to eat. The roof top pool is also an added extra.

I got charged for the birthday package on arrival, I went to reception & they were very apologetic, gave us 4 x drinks vouchers and complementary breakfast. We decided to not have the breakfast, as we already had different plans- when I received the itemised bill the breakfast had been charged, they have refunded me now. It was disappointing that there was a lot of messing around with different things throughout the weekend.

Well located, near everything or only a tram journey away ( including to airport)...shopping, Northern Quarter, entertainment, food.... The rooms are fabulous, each a bit different, all with spa (Espa products) in the bathrooms, the showers are wonderful! Books on the shelves in the rooms, differing in each room - a good selection Robes and slippers in the wardrobe, so popping up to use the infinity pool is covered. Relaxation area, showers... The spa is a quick exit to the left....great facility, with thermal and water area (no pool - as infinity pool 7th floor in hotel), great therapists. Lovely afternoon tea - have had this a couple of times, preordered gluten free. Breakfast, good quality and cooked to order. One of my luxury treats...to return again

Beautiful building. Very close to central restaurants etc. Extremely comfortable bed :) and quiet room. Great shower and bath. I also really liked the small picture of feathers hung in the toilet!

The only thing I personally liked a bit less, was the strip of patterned wallpaper on the wall above the bed, instead of a good painting or even a panel with the wallpaper in it. Especially considering the nice detail in the loo. But I'm really quibbling. The room was very nice indeed. Actually I also think it was a bit cheeky to put wine and glasses on the side that were not complimentary. We didn't drink it and put the wine in the fridge with everything else, not a major deal but just a small "ick".

Breakfast was amazing spa was excellent and especially the breakfast it was great room was so clean and all the staff were absolutely brilliant especially the male at breakfast he was a slender tall white male and he was so polite I didn’t catch his name and he served us and made breakfast amazing he was approachable kind and great! The reception area could do with being a bit bigger as the check in was very long hut the staff there were amazing.

Check in Have to walk outside to go to spa (15 second walk) but still amazing and will visit again

Lovely welcoming reception staff and breakfast staff.The roof top pool was fantastic. The lounge area was nice, it felt very private, especially if you were a couple. The bathroom was beautiful, loved the large bath, it was definitily big enough for 2 people, and the shower too. The bed was super comfy, had a really good nights sleep. The Spa next door was an added bonus, for relaxing treatments and pampering. Love that they serve food and drinks there too. We will be coming back with friends next time. Fantastic beautiful hotel.

My second stay within a few months....fabulous place if you feel like a treat!!! Great spa...also an infinity pool with a city view. Cool decor throughout, plenty of books in the room, should you forget yours! Excellent bathroom with your room, with Espa brand toiletries.. It was lovely to be greeted by reception staff (also in the spa), remembering from the last stay...generally find the staff are friendly and helpful. This visit, I booked afternoon tea...really nice experience, good gluten free cakes (pre-ordered), great conversation with one of the f & b hosts (sorry name escapes me - but a from Ireland, he was!) Good breakfast is made to order, of good quality. Just a mere few minutes walk to metro stop, making Manchester easily accessible, including the airport.

Not a dislike - but just be aware there is one, small lift, so it can take time - on the plus side, you often get time to converse with new people...!!!
