Stayed for one night and was pleasantly surprised by the set-up. Obviously this is budget accommodation, which is what you pay for but what they get right is cleanliness, ease of use, functionality and comfort. Access to rooms, lockers and your capsule is via a swipe card. Very simple, no hassle. The location is very good. On the cnr of George St and Liverpool St, access to public transport is very simple. Town Hall station is 3 mins walk away or Museum station is 7-8 mins. Additionally, there's a tram stop virtually at the front door. If you're coming from the airport then getting here is simple the green line. For anyone that knows Sydney the hotel occupies levels 3-5 of what use to be the Century Hotel, with reception located on level 3, operational between the hours of 10am-9pm (from memory - check that to confirm). The beds are spacious and more than comfortable for two people, so for one person it's excellent. Inside the capsule you can control ventilation and lights. You have two USB plug-ins, an electric plug and a small safe for any valuables. Toilet and shower facilities are shared, they're ok, and included hairdryers.

Reception hours are a little bit of a nuisance, in between 10am-9pm, which doesn't do much for a late check-in, although from what I know you can organise a later check-in if required. The movement of people in and out of other capsules does create some noise, which means that if you're a light sleeper this will not work for you. I found that from about midnight to 4am it was fairly quiet but you will still hear people every now and then making their way in or out.

Location is superb and capsule is surprisingly quiet being on George St and sitting on top of two pubs. Great for a quick stay with personal items secured in a massive keycard-accessible locker, access to a fridge and a communal kitchen with microwave, kettle and utensils. I love the little bits of history in this heritage-listed building including the lift, toilet tiles, stairs and balustrade. Very welcoming and friendly staff

Only 2 toilets and 2 showers to share between 26 capsules on my floor and no bodysoap dispenser in the shower. Capsule's radio, TV and safe are not operational and the internal 'spaceship-like' plastic structure of the capsule itself is a bit flimsy, more for effect really.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area. The room, kitchen and bathrooms were always spotless, which I really appreciated. It’s an ideal place for anyone seeking privacy and peace, as it was quiet and comfortable throughout my visit. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, with a special thanks to Jenny, who went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. Highly recommend! :)

The only downside was that it sometimes smelled like cigarettes in the main areas and corridors due to a bar in the building.

I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and clean everything was. I've never stayed in a capsule or dormitory before, but the experience I had here made me confident that I would do it again. The beds are very private and quite soundproof, with great lighting, a soft bedding and clean sheets. The mirror lights up making it super easy to do makeup in the morning. storage locker is very spacious, can easily fit 2 large icases (check-in) and a carry-on; and it is accessible only with your keycard! Shower and bathroom were just down the hallway - which is regularly cleaned and mopped. Shower always had hot water and really great water pressure! The kitchen downstairs is furnished with microwave, kettle, toaster and basic cutlery/dinnerware. overall, it exceeded my expectations especially with how central the location was. literally everything was within a 10min walking distance or accessible by the buses, trains outside!

genuinely, I really enjoyed my stay, there was nothing that I disliked.

The location is great, easy to get in and out, has everything close by. The capsule is not as small as it seems to be, is quite comfortable and "does the job". Can get a bit noisy, but you have all the privacy from inside the capsule. The staff is lovely and super helpful.

The bathroom gets all wet, so when you change you get your clothes wet as well. The temperature inside the capsule at night is hot, maybe because of the central aircon... But I felt hot every night even with no blanket. So thats is the main problem for me. The bathroom is small, not many for the amount of people, but also no problems at all.

• Close to a lot of key locations, such as the ICC Theatre • Super friendly and helpful staff, even called me back when they didn't pick up prior to checking in • Capsules were surprisingly roomy and didn't feel claustrophobic despite basically being large boxes • Capsule control panel was intuitive and matched the theme quite well • Super cheap for its location and services

No real complaints, only minor inconveniences. • Control panel's screen that shows the time was very smudged, as if a sticker had been covering it and was poorly taken off. Did not affect any other buttons or features • Steps to second row of capsules are small and somewhat creaky • The second row of capsules require you to crawl your way in, which was not a personal issue, but may affect those with more rigid movement • Charger port is universal, but does not support Australian plugs. Instead, phone cables can be inserted into a USB slot to provide a weaker charge

The inside of the capsule is nice and large though, possibly larger than the ones in Japan! Construction was sturdy and didn't creak too much when moving inside the capsule. The air fan/pump inside the capsule is nice to have too in case you find it stuffy. Shared bathroom and showers were decent, as was the common area and kitchenette. Nothing too special, but for this price and value, I can't complain.

Capsules exterior is a bit rough, scratches on door from the sliding frame and scuffs but otherwise the quality is fine. Getting a new towel every three days seems a bit too long to me as well...

Excellent location and very central. The capsule itself was very clean and smelled fresh and the linen was nice. It was a little creaky trying to alight the ladder though. Staff were lovely. I was very impressed with the lovely kitchen area. It was very modern and set out like a Cafe and very clean and tidy. Also loved that there was a small library of books to read. Very nice personal effect.

I think it would be good if there was a little more security when entering each floor. Maybe on the guest pass, if each floor was locked so only guests could access with their key.

I like that the old-feel of the building and architecture and style was preserved. The facilities were sufficient. The room, the lockers, hallways, bathroom etc were spacious. Security was tight, which is a plus for me. The property was very clean.

It's not necessarily that I did not like it but I would have preferred that the pods/rooms could be locked. I know front desk informed us that as per Australian rules/law, they could not be locked. However, another capsule we stayed in previously, had locks on their pods. So I am not sure which policy really applies.

I liked the privacy that the pod provided, there was a locker and also a safe within the pod meaning you can store personal items without fear of them getting stolen. I appreciated that there was an option for a female only dorm.

There was no 24 hour phone line and reception closes at 9 or 10pm which was not helpful when I got locked out of my dorm at about midnight. Unfortunately I had to knock until one of the other people in the dorm let me in after about 20 minutes. (Don’t forget to bring your keycard to the bathroom or you won’t be able to get back in)
