This hotel was in a great location. The rooms were very basic. The rooms and amenities were very clean. There was a ceiling but no air conditioning so it was quite warm in the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room had a code to get in which given to us via email. I think this code should of been personalised by the occupant as there was a young girl who went to the toilet in the night and the door shut behind her and she could not get back in the room. There was no way for her to contact anyone or get back into her room until the cleaners came.

I stayed in August and I had a corner of building room with corner of building window/windows on the final level of the building going up for rooms overlooking Liverpool St and George St corner, the rooms walls were lined with windows and I had what must have been the best view in the house along with having what felt like the best room. The rooms have excellent amenities, lots of extra really good quality blankets for warmth plus in room wall heater, the bed was so soft and was made up to be unbelievably comfortable with excellent quality bedding making it extremely good to sleep in, it was extremely clean and also has a very homely feel to the rooms. The staff were notably exceptional also, my overall stay was absolutely outstanding. Thankyou so much for the stay and I look forward to staying with you again in the future :)

We chose this place for a night out drinking (kid free) as we live in Wollongong. It was central to everything and all the pubs. Was nosiy but that’s what we were looking for. Wouldn’t recommend staying if you not in party mode as whole area doesn’t get quite until past 3:30am We just wanted something cheap and to sleep. Room just has a bed in sink. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was literally outside our door so made it easy. And never any lines up to toilet or showers.

No fridge for drinks. No tv. But we didn’t stay long in room but a bar fridge under sink would have been good as we enjoyed having the window wide open and watched the street before we had dinner out.

I love to stay this clean and comfortable place with reasonable price. It is right in the city center, easily accessible main tourist spots in Sydney.

Because the hotel is located in front of the cross walk, some of the noise inevitably occurs. But I really didn't mind when time went by and getting familiar with that sound.

Super comfy beds and pillows, clean, cute, amazing location, what else could you want. My room was on the top level so the street noise was minimal. What an amazing budget option, would be happy to stay here again. The sink in the room is a huge bonus and there are plenty of the shared, lockable bathroom facilities, which are nicely modernised. The check in system with the codes is also very clever. It's all very well thought out.

Great decor, nicely Australian without being jingoist and is centred around what the building was/is. Great location. I think there were a few teething problems but it is going to be a good budget boutique-y experience once sorted. Felt like being in a Peter Carey book.

Quite noisy and blind doesn't block out light. USB ports didn't work (although I found some behind the bed that did), no tv but there are some in the pub downstairs. Take earplugs!

Great location and good value but it is extremely loud at night being in the cbd and you can hear all the sirens and annoying cars all throughout the night. I'm a deep sleeper and it still annoyed me a bit so don't book if you're a light sleeper - all in all the good value would have me book again.

The place is located in the heart of the city. Many modes of public transport are located very close to the property. The property has enabled self check in. I received the passcodes for the front door and the room door by email on the day of the stay, few hours before check in. Many eat outs and shopping places are near the hotel. The place is vibrant at nights with lots of activity.

Rooms are beautiful and perfect for a Reschs fan! The staff made it very comfortable and enjoyable and went out of their way to make us comfy! Plenty of bathrooms. Will definitely be back! Shout out to Freddy for being a great host!

The street can be loud and the walls are a bit thin but comes with the location and older building. A lot of stairs, can be difficult with disability or luggage. Definitely not a set back though and well worth it.

It was in the middle of everything just name it. Had our midnight snacks as some shops are still open til 2am

No air conditioner system just a fan, it’s fine during our stay coz the weather is kinda good. But I think it’s not comfortable on peak summer or winter season.
