Clean, luxurious, location, good value for money.

I would have given 10 stars all the way but....I was asking staff to help me move my 4 luggages as I was about to check out. concierge staff said I need to bring the huge push cart by myself from downstairs to my room and bring back my luggages by my self. I did and the push cart's wheels were broken does not push in proper direction. I almost broke the elevator because I kept hitting the walls plus the weight of my luggages made it worse. I was alone as my family were in the museum I told the staff about that. I payed so much for 2 nights stay and a simple assistance to move our luggages can't be provided by Meriton. What if the guests were seniors or with back problems. Dissapointing in that aspect.

Loved having a washer / dryer in the room. Very nice space in the room with a kitchenette that had everything we needed for the stay.

The lift was slow at times, but this is not a complaint. The location was good, considering the price, but a little bit of a walk to public transport.

The location is close to transport. There are lots of eateries close by. I can easily get groceries at the Coles supermarket nearby. Reception is receptive and prompt to requests of towels and toiletries.

The scheduled cleaning did not happen. I have to remind the reception for the cleaners to come the next day. Cleaning is very basic. I don't think the carpet is vacuumed at all. The air conditioning is hard to adjust. I need to adjust the TV every time I turn on the the TV to get the main TV channels like Channel 7. The kitchen needs to be more equipped like trays for the oven.

Comfortable beds. Well appointed kitchen. Great to have a washer and dryer. I loved the full sized fridge. The apartment had plenty of space and a decent balcony. It was great to have public transportation just around the corner from the hotel - you can catch a tram, the train, a bus or a ferry with little effort. There were dozens of restaurants within a block or two as well as two major grocery stores within a couple of blocks.

I would have liked a USB plug in by the desk or on the bedside lamp. We all travel with phones that need charging each night. A stand or fold down shelf to place luggage on would be a great asset.

Excellent location close by to public transport, shopping outlets and bars/pubs and restaurants to choose from. Good sized rooms perfect for our group needs. We had a two bedroom two bathroom suite with a balcony looking towards Darling Harbour with nice vista views even despite the rainy weather. Water pressure was great and beds were clean and comfortable. Loved that they provided lots of cups, glasses and had a well stocked kitchen. Having parking available downstairs was also very handy!

One of the coffee mugs had cockroach eggs/larvae in it and one of the girls didn't noticed until after she had already drank most her coffee from it 🤢 but other than that everything else was great.

The location is fantastic! The light rail and train stations are really close by and lots of great restaurants and markets within a few blocks. The Pho restaurant right next door was phenomenal! The bed was very comfortable and plenty of towels were provided. The staff was very sweet and attentive.

My room was definitely in need of a good, thorough cleaning. My feet were filthy from walking barefoot in the room and the bathroom, especially the shower, needs a good scrubbing. The balcony glass is very dirty and hard to see through. They don't provide the first roll of paper towels that units with a kitchenette usually provide. There were enough plates, etc. I didn't cook there.

We stayed here three times in a month while traveling throughout Australia and New Zealand over Christmas and New Year's. Each time was outstanding. After our first stay was so excellent, we decided to cancel our reservations at other hotels for our subsequent stays and choose to stay at the Meriton - Kent Street because our first stay was so great. Our suite had magnificent views and all the amenities we could want each time. Additionally, because we knew we were coming back again at the end of our second stay, they allowed us to leave luggage with them until we returned four days later - and free of charge. Further, even though we arrived hours before check-in the first two stays, they got our room ready well before check-in and let us go ahead and check-in and go to our room. Everything the staff did was outstanding and above-and-beyond.

Our only small negative was that the washer-dryer that was in our suite on our first stay was a single unit, not a separate washer and dryer. We had trouble figuring out how to use it, but the staff was helpful in trying to assist us in learning the unit. Our other two stays we had separate washer and dryer units and had no trouble with them.

Nice & clean, beautiful views of the city, the studio suite was equipped with everything we needed!

Walls are paper thin, I could be talking in a normal tone and someone outside the room will hear it.

brilliant location, excellent rooms and layout, good fast elevators

needs a good deep clean, have stayed at this and other Meritons before, this needed a good clean this time; windowsills, windows, walls, and other general and deeper cleaning. Bed and linen was spotless however stains on both sitting chairs and marks/dirt on walls, almost on entry I spilt a drink on the kitchen tiles that I wiped up with a tissue and was shocked at how black the tissue came back up as. Was a little disappointed in the cleanliness of the room, nothing out of this world dirty but even the bin had a couple of things in it when we checked in, compared to other Meritons and even previous stays at this one it was just a little grubbier than I was expecting it to be.

Nice bed and very comfortable. Lifts were fast and easy to use. Reception team just awesome, lovely people to deal with and always great guys on the concierge role.

Bathroom - the bathroom fittings were loose, being the surround on the the bath and the shower. Also the shower hand piece was loose and initially we struggled to raise the hand shower higher due to the fitting. The shower hand piece did fall out often whilst showering. Each day we had multiple growth of black midggies in the bathroom, which we are not use to and found them annoying. Should be some insect spray like pyritohedron to combat this in the bathroom. Also the laundry was very tied, dryer was old and noisy and didn't dry a very low amount of clothes that were placed in side the dryer. A smell from the overflow drain in this area. The rubbish bin came in handy to stop this smell.
