The location is very good, close to public transport. The bed was comfortable. The staff is friendly. It is value for money in comparison to other Sydney CBD properties. There is very good air conditioning.
A 24-hour front desk would be helpful. The room layout is awkward for people's movement. But overall, it is good value for money for a budget Hotel.

I like this hotel - it' 'does what it says on the tin'. It's not the most stylish or luxurious hotel but in this location you'd have to pay double for that. My room (I paid extra for a window/view) was clean, comfortable and the bed was firm - I slept well. It's in a good location near the heart of central Sydney but also close to the train station and on the right side of town for the airport. The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful - Argelie and Anjil looked after me very well after I'd checked out but had an hour to spend before I got a taxi to the airport. It was extremely useful being able to organise myself in reception and I was given water and chocolate to keep me going. If you want location over luxury for a reasonable price it's a good bet.
Furniture and decor in the room was a little tired - dark wood makes the room feel smaller. A refresh with more modern furniture and lighter colours would do the world of good.

Great location close to George Street, Paddy's market, Central station, Chinese garden etc. As I was travelling both ways on overnight trains the staff were very helpful keeping my luggage in a secure back room before checking in and after checking out. The room was L shaped with the longer part very narrow, but it was nicely furnished.
The list of rules at first glance was a little intimidating, but on closer inspection was mostly just good manners and common sense. One however had me freaked out - the sensitive smoke alarms and the need to clear the steam from the bathrooms before emerging, or risk a $1600 fine! Furthermore the exhaust fan in my bathroom didn't seem very powerful at all. However I managed without any alarm going off! I eventually located the single small window behind my bed, but it had a sign saying not to open it - so the room was effectively windowless, but the lighting was good.

Having a full apartment was terrific - to be able to wash clothes , eat , and pack and early night before flying home from a big holiday . Lovely quiet, peaceful, clean and spacious Staff very helpful and efficient Location was great for walking to city centre / water fronts / restaurants / train / woollies and ‘hop on hop off bus’ for site seeing Super easy Uber right outside front entrance
(Apologies I forgot to report below on check out of hotel ) Bit of maintenance required - towel rail kept falling off , one flickering light Both stays no tea towels were supplied Significant pryvacy issue with windows (hotel rooms opposite) - ideally tilting type blinds would be better rather than see through sheers

What a great location! Easy walking distance to Chinatown, Thaitown, Darling Harbour and the superb shopping and specialty stores of the Sydney CBD, also Capitol and State Theatres. You're surrounded by great restaurants and cafes. Walk amongst the friendly people of Sydney or catch a bus, train or light rail. The friendly and informative staff at Yehs CBD will ensure that your stay is memorable for all the right reasons. I was not aware of the fireworks display at Darling Harbour on the Saturday night we stayed until a staff member pointed this out.
Our room was a little small, and we could hear the sounds of people showering at nighttime. The room didn't have a view.

I was arrived on 22/3 9:30am with an overnight flight from Hong Kong connected in Singapore, which is about 13 hours flight. I was suppose to check in and keep my luggage and come back around 2 for check in. The manager of this hotel was so kind, when he checked my passport asked me if I was fly from Singapore. It is a long flight plus I was stayed here for 8 nights, he was so kind to allow me check in at 9:30am🫶🏻. Also special thanks to the staff here especially Tim and Mark for every day warm smile. Staff are very welcoming here. It was my first time been to Sydney and they made my trip🩵.
Nothing.

I love the location how its so close to the train stations Town Hall. It is also close to really great food places around the corner. The hotel.room itself iwas a perfect size for me. For some it may seem cramped but its just me so I disnt need much space to move around. I was there for the weekend for a special function so I was in and out of my room so it was perfect to just have everything right there. The bathroom/ shower facilities, the bed size was awesome, thick curtains to block.out the sunlight, tv and great movies to help relax and unwind after a long day and the staff were happy, happy to chat to. They assist with any queries and directions. They were always smiling when I walk in and out. Theyre very welcoming. I have stayed here at this hotel twice now because of their service and how easy it is to get your keys and not having to stand at the reception desk and doin this doing that signing this paying that... its delat with fast and efficiently. They explain everything to you. The rooms are very quiet so you dont really hear anyone, not even the cleaners even though they are on your floor cleaning. Plenty of sunlight came into my room which was beautiful as the windows are huge tall and wide. I will stay here again if Im ever in the city again.
What didnt I like? Hmmmm that it wasnt a full weekend. Next time.ill go Friday Saturday and Sunday.

The hotel location was exceptionally convenient - within easy walking distance to light rail and shopping/restaurants, 5 minutes away from Chinatown. The front desk staff was very friendly and proficient, in particular Argelie who was on duty upon my check in and check out.
The room was very compact, just big enough to accommodate a small double bed. No space for a chair as one can reach the desk sitting on side of bed. An above average height person would find the bed cramp. On the plus side, the shower is decent enough even for a larger sized person.

I come to Sydney city a few times a year and always stay at YES hotel as they're 10 mins from central,5 mins walk from haymarkets and 10 mins walk from darling harbour. It's conveniently placed and the staff are always lovely and the rooms comfy and clean. This time they upgraded me free of charge into a larger room with a larger bathroom was very lovely!
Air con/fans kept turning off and on all night so the room got stuffy and made it hard to sleep. The TV was a bit unpredictable and wouldn't always turn on, but I was out most of the time so it wasn't a big deal.

I want to extend my sincere thanks for the wonderful experience during my recent 3-night stay at your hotel. The Twin room with its stunning city view exceeded my expectations, providing a serene environment to unwind after a day of exploring. The room was impeccably clean, and I appreciated the attention to detail, with basic amenities readily available. The addition of a mini fridge, small safe, and quality toiletries enhanced the comfort of the room. However, what truly stood out was the outstanding service provided by both Binay and Pratim. Their professionalism and warm hospitality exemplify the excellence of your hotel's staff. They are invaluable assets, and I am grateful for their assistance. Thank you for a remarkable experience, and I look forward to returning in the future.
Able to tell the hotel is on the older side , furnitures are kinda old, but still clean. Bars/pubs opposite and below the hotel, can be quite noisy especially during weekends.
