Really lovely staff and a very warm and informative welcome from Ellen. Comfortable lounge with complimentary soft drinks and sweets was a nice touch. Nice to have fresh milk on hand for tea and coffee in the room without having to ask. Easy 10 minutes walk into Bath. Lovely views from our room over the cricket pitch to the Abbey. Breakfast was well cooked and delicious, generous amounts of coffee. The bed was comfy and the shower was really good. Towels were amazing - big and thick.

I felt charging £20 a night for the car park when it was part of the hotel's own land and was not open to non residents left a sour taste. We ended up paying £60, which added 10% to our bill. If they changed this to no charge, or at a push a more reasonable amount, there would have been nothing I could write here as there was nothing I didn't like.

The hotel has some nice additional touches with complementary sets and soft drinks available . The decoration and fittings are individual and very nicely done. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The food was very good although the portion sizes at lunch and for breakfast were a little mean given the pricing. Car park charges should be more clearly shown on the booking site.

Location excellent. Large group went for family wedding. Bride/groom, parents/grandparents, grandchildren and friends. Nothing too much trouble for the staff, very helpful and friendly.

Given price of staying, which was expensive, having to pay extra £20/night car parking site was a bit much, should have been included.

Really cute lovely hotel. In a great location. Staff were all really friendly. Breakfast was amazing, we had dinner there, that was also REALLY good. USB charging ports in room Would recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. These aren't things we disliked, just something to be aware of. It is an older building so walls are a bit thinner, there is no lift, only stairs. They get steeper and shorter the further you go up, they're not very wide either. The shower in our room was tiny. Probably not suitable for elderly or overweight people. If that's not you I'm sure you will have a lovely stay. Would highly recommend

We booked this Hotel in an emergency as our booked reservation at another hotel was not what we expected. The Bird Bath Hotel was amazing from the Staff, to the location, comfort and restaurant facility! Front desk employee (I believe her name was "Hamilton") was amazing! And kudo's to your restaurant staff, especially Eavey!!

It could've been better if we could have stayed LONGER!!! There was NOTHING we didn't like! Our trip to Bath was only supposed to be a temporary lay-over for 3 days as we focused on reaching the Cotswolds and Lake District. How amazed we were at this town not only because of the location, but also because of your Hotel Staff and Restaurant employees.....they were BRILLIANT!!

Small, intimate boutique hotel feel for a relatively large hotel. The staff were amazing. They recommend a lovely restaurant, Raphael, as there was a Christmas function in the hotel. Beautiful breakfast, though if you prefer a buffet style it's table service only. Easy flat walk into the centre. Only takes ten minutes. You are able to leave the car in the car park for a good while after check out. Some lovely complimentary touches , fresh milk, sweets etc. Decorated beautifully for Christmas.

The bathroom was very clean and had everything. The tiles in shower need a refresh .

A querky hotel in a great location. Comfy bed and our room has air conditioning. Shower powerful and hit. friendly staff. Complementary coffee and tea in room. Fresh milk available, plus other complementary soft drinks and bottled water . Bottle of water and flapjack on departure.- a nice gesture. The restaurant was a little limited on choice but the breakfasts were good.

Tiny on suite . Nowhere to hang bath towel unless over toilet. Although room size adequate only one chair , 2 would have been great. For the price parking should be included. Please note..old hotel and lots of steep stairs if on upper floors.

We've visited the Bird several time before only for, dinner and event nights never been disappointed, excellent service, food. We decided to stay here this time, just for a night as its in a great location, short walk into Bath centre. We were welcomed by friendly staff, checked it and taken to our room, which was very clean, spacious and excellent view looking towards Bath Rugby field, great view. The bed, sheets etc very comfortable. What we love about the Bird is the staff, they are extremely friendly, well mannered and what to make sure you are having and enjoyable stay with them. Their outside patio is spacious comfortable and really nice to sit have a drink, which are always well made. We had breakfast in the morning, the staff again fantastic, food excellent. If visiting Bath and want a lovely place to stay, we'd higy recommend the Bird. Thanks to all the staff for your excellent service.

Not a thing.

I can't fault anything about the place. Where ever you turned you just stood there and took in all the decor. Room was so pretty. Had a lovely view over the terrace. So peaceful. We stayed in on the first night and had drinks with a few plates off the A La Carte menu. Well wow think we had almost a bit of everything. Was so relaxed that l put my feet up on the sofa and tuck myself in under a blanket and sipped cocktails until late into the evening. Loved that they have an area under the stairs where you can help yourself to little treats which are complementary.

I sure because of the building Air conditioning can't be fitted but we did have a upright fan in our room. We stayed when it was very warm so struggled a bit but we had huge windows which were kept opened throughout our stay.

We loved staying in this Boutique Hotel. We loved everything about it and next time we go to Bath we will stay here for sure. The staff were great, the decor was unique and the breakfast was superb. Special mention to the young man who served our breakfast. He could teach hospitality staff a thing or two about how it’s supposed to be done, really superb. The car park was a bit of a squeeze but it’s not their fault ( our car is quite big). Worth noting if you have a large car. It might be worth trying to reserve a space at the front of the hotel.
