Everything perfect apart from ventilation issue. Right in the centre of town and near railway station for trips to the lake district. I liked the rustic tile bathroom decor...very cheerful. The decor of bedroom was plain but pleasant. Hanging space excellent. The room felt very clean, there was a smell of cleaning materials, perhaps too strong!!

A bottle of drinking water would have been nice as the tap water tasted slightly soapy?? A note explaining how to open the window would have also been helpful; I was unable to open the secondary glazing and although next morning the staff said they would have explained how to do it, it wasn't clear that the window was possible to open - I thought it was fixed glazing to cut out street noise. It would have been nice to have a hard chair made of wood in the room to put my things on, upholstery is more difficult to keep clean. Ditto the upholstered headboard, I would have preferred a wooden headboard. Pile carpet a bit too shaggy, I again felt it might be difficult to keep clean, although it looked very clean.

The place was compact, clean, well-maintained and is in an excellent location. The city centre, the castle, eateries, and stores are just a minute away literally. Loved the ambience. The property owner Mr.Joe was very helpful. The laundry that's next to the property is relatively cheaper but is a good addition. I would have preferred to stay here for the whole duration of my visit to Lancaster if not for the unavailability of rooms. If I am ever visiting again, this is going to be the first on my list. There's nothing about this property not to like. Just that I thought from the pictures that it was a little bigger than it actually is.

The location was perfect very central Lancaster. No food was ordered. Room was nice and cosy being above a laundry but may be too hot in the summer as you didn't seem to be able to open the windows.

There was a heavy smell of damp as you entered the room probably because you couldn't open the window. The room being above the laundry may be too hot in the summer as no air conditioning. There was also no lift so was a challenge to get the cases up the steep stairs, although you could park your car by the front door to unload.

Spacious ,comfortable and nicely decorated. Huge comfy bed. The bath was also large and deep with a powerful shower over. Very clean Self check in worked seamlessly with good instructions via Whatapp and e Mail prior to stay

No parking ( not unusual for Lancaster to be fair ) recommended car park £14 for 24 hours so need to factor that into the price. Room was up 2 flights of stairs so not for those that would struggle with that. On a busy road

Location was excellent, close to the railway station, shops and attractions The room was very clean and comfortable, very quiet even being on a main road. Check in was easy and dropping the key off when we left also easy Tea, coffee and biscuits in the room, nice sized TV and free wifi En suite bathroom was lovely and clean great shower and plenty of towels

Only problem and just a very minor 1 our room was at the top of the hotel and no lift

Next to the venue I was attending. Very modern bedroom while you had a 2000s looking bathroom which I liked. Traditional bits and bobs they give you like coffee packets and such. Most importantly: Bed sheets were very thin, which in this weather is really good.

Things written here aren't major but it would of been nice if: - The Bath plug worked - The light that you can turn on upon entering would work, alongside with one of the lamps - Bathroom light didn't flicker too much Not too major that it ruined my stay but if they worked and were fixed, it would of been 10/10

I booked this hotel very last minute as my trains were cancelled. the room was ready instantly (1pm) and so I could go and check in early. It was right by the train station and in the centre of the town which was a perfect location. I was clean, cosy, comfortable and nice and warm from 0° temperatures outside. Amazing value for money and would stay again for sure.

Very central location, which was my main reason for booking Crows again. The room and bathroom were spacious. The Old Bell was an ideal cafe for breakfast - good food right on the doorstep. Could you consider recommending them?

Entrance security was difficult to use and gave me some anxiety, as I was travelling alone and arrived around 9pm. I discussed this with a member of staff who then planned to improve the instructions. I wished I had enquired about a first floor room, as the two flights of stairs were steep for those with heavy luggage.

The Crows Hotel was fabulous, warm and toasty, welcoming, the comfiest beds, lovely decor and brilliant location. A special mention to Keith who helped us out beyond expectations, super grateful you made our little trip away. Would 100% recommend and would return at the drop of a hat. Huge thanks x

No parking for us but theres a little NCP a stones throw away and recommended by staff, so ideal. There's genuinely nothing not to like!

The place is exactly the same as described and given in the pictures. I have attached my own picture that I took during my stay for you to compare. The place was very clean and well maintained. They made sure to restock coffee and biscuits everyday. Also, the towels were clean and smelled lovely which I appreciated so much

If there is any, I just struggled a little bit with the key because i sometimes could not manage to take it off the door, which can be a me problem haha
