Some of the reviews for this property really made me giggle. I'm really picky so read on. This is a budget hotel, not a fancy 5 star with extras like shampoo, bottled water, hairdryer, fridge, biscuits, unlimited coffee, etc. We had a really lovely room. It was extremely clean, warm and all new, obviously recently refurbished. You get a kettle with coffee, tea, sugar and milk. TV, ensuite bathroom and towels. We were on the 4th floor. There is a lift to all floors. No bar. No restaurant. It's a room only hotel. The staff were amazing, the accommodation was secure and the location is slap bang in the middle of Lancaster city centre. Spoons is next door for a lovely cheap breakfast every morning and Tesco on the other side. Honestly, if you are sight seeing, on business or just passing through, this hotel is perfect. If you want luxury with added extras in your room, then pay more and stay somewhere else. We will be back. Value for money and we loved it.

They'd forgotten towels and the TV remote was missing but it wasn't a problem, the staff were super efficient and fixed it straight away.

The location is ideal for accessing the city centre via train. It is 10min walk from train station, and close to the shopping, pedestrian quarter. The reception staff were very friendly and polite. The room/ensuite was clean and well prepared, a bit bare and simple, but all you need for one night stay. The bathroom was clean, nice towels and good water pressure/temperature.

The room did not have great views, but I did not spend much time in the room to be bothered by it. There are no facilities in the hotel, there is no food availalbe, but htis is stated in their page, so it wasn't a surprise.

The hotel contacted me before arrival stating where the two nearest car parks were located along with their postcodes. I found this very helpful information. The staff I met were all extremely friendly and helpful. I forgot my plug for charging my phone and was able to borrow one from reception.

The WiFi wasn’t working and from previous reviews I read it hasn’t worked for quite a while, disappointing. In the night our room 127 got rather hot so we needed to open the window and use the electric fan provided. No air conditioning unit but the bargain price reflected this.

The location was nice; next to a Tesco, close to town centre and not far from trainstation! Only let down was the noise on the street, but not hotels fault, although our window seemed like it wasn't isolated well, some cold air and noise easily came through! But that's like the only minor thing, luckely they provided some earplugs ;-) But clean room, good bed, nice bathroom!Nice

Great location for visiting the city and the bonus for me is that the hotel is dog friendly. Clean comfortable beds and bedding. Warm and cosy, sometimes a bit too warm for me but there was a fan provided in the room which helped.

Unfortunately with the location the downside was that late night drunks presumably coming out of nearby Wetherspoons were very noisy, and as the hotel is near the main road, the sirens were also a bit of a noise disturbance until early hours so I didn't get much sleep.

A decent hotel, not too far from the train station and ideally located for the town centre. All the standard facilities were provided. The room was ideal for a short stay and a base from which to look around the city. The staff were friendly and efficient. I would stay here again.

The hotel is next door to a pub and close to the main road, so there might be some issues with noise on the lower floors. However, I did not experience any problems while I was there.

The hotel has a great location with access to local restaurants and shops. The staff were polite and very helpful with any questions or queries. The room was good value for money as well!

The room was on the smaller size but for the price it was very acceptable. The ensuite bathroom was also very small and there was no lock on the bathroom door likely because of this. It was entirely usable and very clean though.

Great location. Friendly and pleasant staff. An ideal place to get a night's sleep after a night out in Lancaster. I'd stayed here previously when it was a Travelodge and never had any issues.

Shower was a bit difficult to get a comfortable temperature. The decor doesn't seem to have been majorly changed since it was the Travelodge a few years ago, but it's not shabby or anything.

Great location in a quiet street a few minutes walk from the city centre. Helpful staff on reception and early check in from noon for £10 if a room is available. This hotel does exactly what it advertises - provides clean, cosy, value for money rooms in a central location. They don’t do breakfast but are next door to Wetherspoons if you want to eat.

Nice clean place lovely pleasant helpful staff nothing too much trouble. Convenient for the town centre walking distance.

A bit noisy as we were round the back ie bottle bins and a short cut through for pedestrians shouting ect the car park opposite was a no go full all the time Having said that for a budget hotel not bad
