Indeed; Dar Al- Ghufran is an exceptional place to stay close to Haram. The following points may summarize our experience: _ The front desk staffs were polite; professional in their job and cooperative. - The hotel location is just in front of Haram; that's why it is the most convenient stay place; especially if you have an old person with you. No boundaries between the hotel and Haram. - The electrical ladders/ conveyors are provided; so easily and quickly access can be made to Haram. Also lifts are provided for making Haram easier accessibility. - The hotel is modern; many elevators are serving the guests. In peak season; in particular;waiting can be minimal. - The rooms are spacious; the beds are very comfortable; and the bellows are very nice as well. Mattress is also very comfortable. - The bathroom is spacious with an excellent water pressure; both warm and cold water. - The breakfast was very delicious; many choices on the menu; fresh and nice food. - Overall; this hotel is run with professional team; their man goal is to serve their guests.

It is very heartwarming to see that they are keeping up the high standard. Early check in (much appreciated). Room very spacious, clean and very close to the Haram. Breakfast very good variety. Staff very friendly and helpful especially مؤمن in the restaurant, reception and the cleaning staff. Good customer service, we found the fridge not working in our room and was replaced within minutes. Insha Allah will be coming back again.

The location is very close to the Masjid-al-Haram which enables guests to attend prayers in the Haram. The musalla within the complex is a great addition for those who are enable to reach the Haram. The speaker in the room with the azan and salah from the Masjid is a great addition.

The water was stagnating in the bathroom. A wiper should be provided in the bathroom.

Location is perfect , close to Al Haram and staff was so friendly and helpful . Too many elevators which is so good and no waiting at all at elevators.

Taxis are not easy to reach especially when near pray time . Taxi had to drop us and we got to walk to reach hotel.

The location to the Kaba was perfect. The staff were very friendly and polite. I had queries which was promptly dealt with and the check out time of 12 is extended to 2 pm free of charge which is great when you need to do the last prayer in masjid al haram. I loved the buffet breakfast as it was the best with lots of different varieties.

I didn't like the fact that they charged me 20 sar for using their plates and cutlery in my room which should have come free with the service as I have paid a good amount for the hotel booking, this I found quite wiered being a 5 star hotel but can't provide cutlery free of charge. I also didn't like that there are no windows so can't have any natural lights in which is a shame.

We arrived slightly before 4pm and was greeted by Abdul Majeed. Being our first time at this hotel, we were mentally prepared for the long checking after reading reviews of other neighbouring hotels along the clock tower area. Alhamdulillah, check in was quick as there were no one else checking in at the reception. Abdul Majeed offered an upgrade and late check out which came as a surprise as we had booked this hotel at the very last minute (2 days before arrival) with not much room type selection. Location of the hotel to haram is directly accessible via escalators. Hotel lift comes very fast unlike some review from other hotels where lifts can get crowded during peak period. Bell boy service was prompt as well. Overall, We truly enjoy our stay and had a memorable stay in makkah. Insha Allah we will be back to stay for our next umrah. Well done to the hotel team.

The roads along Ajyad streets are closed prior and after prayer time. Be prepared to plan arrival and departure to avoid these times. This is obviously not something within the hotel control but be mindful when selecting a hotel near the clock tower.

This is probably my sixth stay in this hotel! They have upgraded my room to a junior suite, which was very nice! This is probably their second upgrade for me(first, larger room, this time a junior suite). Their food is great, menu is great, facilities etc.. the cherry on top of the cake is their customer service! Perfect. Highly recommend.

The travel to and from hotel is affected by prayer times and other rules that can be unclear. You might have to walk up/down the tunnel with luggage if police don’t allow the transport car pass to hotel. It is not a long walk but very inconvenient.

1.I paid for aroom with 2 beds but was given an upgrade for room same size but with 3 beds making the room very crowded. 2.Check-in was slow although I paid for the reservation in advance. 3.The second day I walked down to reception before Zuhur prayers and asked a receptionist to send someone to clean my room but he didn't bother and the room was not cleaned. Also concierge staff are not professional.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel It was very clean, Lefts and lobby was tidy . Customer service was really good

I really struggled at my checkout with my taxi pickup. It was really busy and our taxi driver was charged a fine of 500 riyal for picking me and my family. I think the hotel should get in touch with the transport authorities and explain that the customers will order a taxi , they shouldn't find the driver if he was booked in advance. When we ask the driver he explained father saying he was charged because he came in front of our hotel with an empty car. Of course the car will be empty because we were waiting for the left.

Amazing call to prayer from the Kabba wakes you up at 4 am loud speaker in celiing I thought I woke up in heaven
