Everything was great, totally worth it. The staff was incredibly nice, always willing to help. Especially I would like to mention Nick, Miguel, Joanna and Maria. The room was cleaned daily, so I could not really understand where the negative comments came fron; and if it’d been like this, it got def. improved. There is a renovation is going on, but therefore the price is corresponding. I could see the staff was trying to make it a great place.

Nice location in the Upper West Side, near Central Park and close to Harlem. Cool staff working at the hostel. Great activities such as karaoke, beer pong or going to dance in many clubs. Thanks to the Prince of Pop :)

It's an hostel, so don't expect too much. You've got the minimum: a room, a clean bed, a shared bathroom, free wifi, free tea or coffee and a 24/24 reception. The aim is to meet people, have fun, build memories and going out to discover NYC. It got it all!

Easy peasy, exactly what a good hostel should be. Simple, no fuss. The beds were not particularly comfortable, but the rooms was warm and clean. The breakfast was bagels and jelly spread and coffee, but it was fine. The location is only a block or two off of the subway, so super easy. In a really lovely part of town. We'll definitely go back in the future. I wish we could have stayed for the comedy night on Sunday!

The beds are squeaky Ikea bunks, so not the most comfy in the world, but definitely sleep-able. Would love some butter or cream cheese for the bagel.

Personnel was very good and helpful. Thank you! Yes, this hostel is the cheapest one. You need to be careful about what you are expecting. The other people were from Europe and our communication in our room was very good. We all know it does not worth this price but this is not the hostel's problem, it is about the NYC economy. You can be sure that you may stay here.

There is no sign about the hostel. There are two different hostels in the same location. Please add a sign or poster.

Good place close to the City Park. Quite close to a subway station and easy to get to the central Manhattan. Silent and comfortable place. Good if you travel alone or with friends for a short time. Comfortable beds. Good patio atop. Maybe one-night stay is not enough to write an extended review. Good place for a reasonable price. Especially recommend for students and young people.

A bathroom might have been cleaner (but, of course, I understand that it also depends on tenants and because I came to the hostel quite late, I cannot say that it wasn't cleaned that day). Light in the room was a bit dim (of course it might be just personal feeling).

It has a nice feeling and everything way good. The rooms are a little bit cold, but if you ask one more blanket they will gladly provide it. The rooms and bathroom were cleaned properly.

I would prefer if the breakfast would have savory options. We got bagels with jam, maybe if we could choose between jams and cream cheese.

I loved the location, it's great only 2 blocks away from a 24 hrs deli, 3 blocks away from 103 st metro station and central park is right in the corner. Beds are okay, honestly I spent most of my time outside. Staff is friendly. They're going through some remodeling and I didn't have the chance to see the common areas, however it was a nice stay.

They don't change sheets until the end of your stay.

24hr concierge was amazing as I was late arriving. The location was amazing right next to Central Park and with subway nearby. Free donuts and coffee in the morning was great.

Lack of lift did make being on the 5th floor a challenge in the heat. Some staff were lovely and attentive but some were more focused on their phones.

Staff very good, place is very clean, i didnot felt i stayed in hostel, i felt like home, any confusion or any suggestion i required i talk to reception, they heled. Also location was at center next to metro subway and best thing close to the centeral park , i enjoyed alot

very private bunk bed - very modern, completely private - clean with inside the Japanese capsule all amenities. light. plugs. fan and door to be private and the bed is excellent.
