It was clean and comfortable and it was close to two subways that took you in no time to the city centre.

The location was a bit sketchy. During the day it’s fine, there are a lot of people running and walking around cause its very near to central park. But, when its dark outside it’s a bit scary because of how many drug addicts there are in the neighbourhood. I would sat you just have to be very aware of your surroundings.

It's very close to the subway station and getting there from central New York is very easy. The room was nice, clean and functional. We had a fridge and microwave that was really useful.

If you want personal contact with the staff you might not like this place. During our entire stay we only met the cleaning lady. For us that was a good thing.

The lady who welcomed us was really kind. It wasn't a problem that we arrived a bit earlier. The check-in and out process was quick and easy. The location of the apartment is perfect easy to reach every part of the city from there.

The walls are really thin you can hear the other guests, and the street also.

Me and my friends were looking for a simple, affordable place to stay in nyc and we found it. The room was spacious enough for us and was clean. The people were nice, friendly and cooperative. The area was alright, a subway station very close with lots of connections to all different areas of the city. The hotel is situated right by Central Park, wich is great for a nice morning stroll.

The shared bathrooms were clean but a bit outdated and our shower had a faucet that should be replaced. The blinds in the room weren’t really dark enough, might be annoying to people like me who are used to sleeping in a quite dark space.

The hotel is close to two main subway stations, which made it easy to get around and we found it to be quiet (our room was not on the street side and we had the air conditioner on, which may have helped if there was any outside noise). The kitchenette supplied the key things we needed for our stay: a kettle, toaster and coffee maker.

Not that the hotel can do anything about this, but it is worth noting that one subway station has quite a bit of homelessness around it - as you would expect in a big city like New York. The staff were useful in sharing advice on which stations to use and when (staff preferred to use the other station after dark). It wasn't a problem for us to see them around, but is worth bearing in mind if you do find this kind of thing an issue for you.

The room was alright for a family room, and the check-in experience was very smooth. Sadly we didn't meet the receptionist but online interaction was very smooth and fast. The area looks a bit dodgy especially around the station, but this is Harlem and those people are minding their business. So, if you are looking into this property, don't listen to those people who caution you about the area and remember it is not far from the metro station. Only three minutes. It was not noisy either. I went for a run to the central park in the morning.

As always the check-in and billing with the hotels in the US is a bit dodgy even through this platform, the hoteliers should work to build trust. Other than that the shared bathroom aspect was a bit unclear about this property, which is not a hotel but a flat turned into guesthouses. Nothing is wrong with that and in fact it worked fine for us.

The place corresponds to its description, pretty clean and warm (that is important for a winter season stay) - talking about the experience with a single bed room, the communication with the host is very swift and helpful.

It was very cozy, clean, and comfortable. I loved that there was a refrigerator, microwave, and television. The a/c was nice during the hot bawmy weather, and the bed sheets and comforter were crisp and clean. The bathroom was super clean, and the shower was also clean. There is a key lock and chain on the bedroom door, and it feels very safe. For the price , I felt the stay was great! Easy accessible to transportation, great food,(many vegan options) central park, and a short walk to the world renowned Apollo Theater. The neighborhood is safe and clean, and outside property is well kept. The receptionist was pleasant and helpful. Check-in went smooth I loved the stay, highly recommend, and will stay again soon!
