The location on the river with views to the mountains were wonderful. Quiet and restful. Plenty of room to sit and read, or do a puzzle, or just watch the day go by. We could see the crocodile on the far riverbank with our small binoculars. Access to great food at the pub across the road, and breakfast at the cafe were both very convenient. Only 10 minutes to the ferry across the Daintree for our day trip to Cape Tribulation. Our room was clean and comfortable, good shower.

This accommodation is in the perfect location for Daintree River trips as the boat ramp is just a couple of hundred yards away. There is a seating area outside the rooms with a table and chairs and also a shared kitchen. The hotel and cafe are only a minute walk away. The hosts are very pleasant and helpful. Plenty parking is available at the rear of the accommodation.

This accommodation is relatively basic and for those who require wifi there is none at this accommodation. We were happy with our stay as we were aware the accommodation was more basic and had no wifi but it was perfectly adequate for our needs. We stayed here for the location which is excellent.

This is my third stay at the lodges mostly due to it's amazing location. located on the Daintree River bank you just have to walk down the ramp to access any of the many river cruises. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. I had an issue with my air conditioner and they were straight onto it. Having many dietary needs which aren't catered for at the restaurant across the road I am so grateful for the access to an outdoor kitchen on the balcony which is very well equipped. Great place to cook up a meal and sit and enjoy the view. My top choice for accommodation when I'm in the area.

Loved sitting out on the wide verandah overlooking the river. Room was a good size, comfortable and felt fresh and clean linen. I liked that there was a kitchenette out on the verandah for guests to make a cuppa or use the microwave. Pub and cafe just across the road serving great food. The owner was friendly, and very accommodating when the airline kept changing our flights and we had to alter our itinerary.

There was nothing I didn't like.

We loved our stay here. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was so comfortable - we slept really well. The ensuite was great, as was the Aircon. Sally was lovely and very helpful. The location is beautiful and couldn't be more convenient for doing croc tours. We loved the quirky decor and there is a lovely outdoor space to sit outside with a great view of the river.

There is no WiFi and limited signal there. Kitchen facilities were a bit limited but you can still make do! There aren't many places to eat around here so I would recommend doing a supermarket shop before arrival.

Absolutely loved this place. Tonya the host was super. She was a mine of information. We enjoyed eating with other guests on the expansive balcony. Just across the road was an awesome village pub that served incredible food. The birdlife at the Daintree Village is fabulous. Its not too far from the car ferry to Cape Tribulation and about 30 minutes from the famous Mossman Gorge. Thats a must visit.

Leaving, would have liked another week at least. But we were time, poor

Phenomenal location overlooking the river. Outside (covered) lounge and kitchen overlooking the views (and crocs) were awesome. Great place to stay with friends/family as have a common area and separate rooms/bathrooms. Great value for money and less expensive than other options in the area that we found.

The overall experience of staying at the Daintree Riverview Lodges is one you have to experience to fully appreciate. It's quiet, with beautiful scenery, basic but perfectly suited rooms to the area, with tea & coffee making facilities, towels and soap, & a mini fridge in your room. The restaurant over the road served yummy food and catered for a variety of dietary needs. It was perfect.

Only that we didn't make the time to stay longer.

Easy access to the river for a tour. Pub across the road had excellent food and beverage. Everything you need for a stay. It’s a rainforest, so it’s not a luxury resort, but it had everything you need.

It’s a good spot to stay for a night and had all you need. Just don’t expect resort styles and you’ll be fine.

Lovely room overlooking the river. Simple, quaint accomodation but clean and very comfy. Great for a night's stay and very Aussie. Nice to walk to the pub for dinner and head down to the river for a croc boat tour.

There's little to do in Daintree Village, so don't come up there if you are expecting something bustling.
