The park facilities and location was perfect! Staff were super friendly, informative and genuinely nice, especially when my kids wanted to see the axolotls in the reception area. We ended up getting the deluxe cabin, as everything else was booked out (we booked in last minute) but The kitchen and bathrooms were not too far away from our cabin. Everything around the whole park was clean and tidy and everything conveniently labeled for everyone to see/use. So many activities for the kids to enjoy also, so this was a good break for us parents for a bit also.

If anything, I'd just say the pool is rather small for the amount of people that frequent it in the afternoons. I think maybe in the future they should build a kiddy pool, so baby/toddlers/primary aged kids have a safe space to swim in, but that's just me nit picking, as the whole park was awesome!

We had a 2Bd Family unit and it was fully kitted out in kitchen and parking right next to the unit. Very clean and tidy and a great family vibe around the camp ground. The outdroo pool was great to cool down in the heat of summer, but also had a spa for the colder days (although not big). The staff were super friendly and helpful and when we couldn't get into the Waitomo Caves (which you MUST book ahead in peak season) they were able to suggest several other walks, which we did nearby. Would be a great spot for families young or with teens like us :-). I left belongings behind and the staff were super helpful at getting them back to me.

Family just wanted a nice break, a nice place to stay, a nice pool and great views. We were so happy just to come here and enjoy the area and have a nice place to rest and sleep

Basicly I know things cost alot these days and this business has ALOT of costs it needs to pay, but the nightly charge was just so much. Makes it hard to go back at that rate. Would love to come back more if it was more affordable.

Lovely stay in the top units with private shower/toilets, and the kitchen is highly appointed with everything you need. Very clean with fresh linen changed daily. Great facilities, pools, playground and even a giant size chess set which is super cool, great to keep the kids occupied.

Even though everything was spot on, the beds let it down for us, we found them too hard. A couple of our group woke with sore backs and ended up in their living rooms. It would be good when booking to have a choice in the mattress comfort.

the only issue I had which I suppose was partly my fault due to travelling down from Wellington I has missed the book in time, so I had no pans to cook with, the camp do offer pans for a small deposit but I arrived around 20:30 I didn’t see anything on booking.com for acquiring cooking equipment if arriving late I’m not blaming the site, as it was I who arrived late will definitely revisit when next in NZ

Location and surroundings are wonderful. Close to the caves and grounds are lush and green. Great to have a pool and playground though the weather was poor during our stay. Did enjoy sitting on the deck and being able to see the kids play on the playground.

Room was small. Kitchen and food prep space was tiny and difficult to use. Room could do with an upgrade. Curtains need replacing as they are affected by the condensation which builds up in the room.

Very close to Waitomo Glowworms Cave, very clean bathrooms and room. Good privacy as the cabins have distance between them and also the campsites. Amazing greenery environment. Excellent staffs- very welcoming when check in; and one of them opens the door for us to return the kitchen stuff and key before check out time. 10/10

Have to rent pots, pans, and knife from reception for a deposit of $10. Limited wifi for 1GB per day. The swimming pools were being renovated and couldn't enjoy the hot pool too bc the renovation was just next to it

Love the location, the pool, the playground, games room, so much for the kids to entertain themselves. Close to the caves and to have a look around.

The room was a little small for a family of 7. When eating at the table you can't really fit at the kitchen bench.

The location is perfect for visiting the caves and sightseeing around Waitomo. Beautiful views surrounding us for the stay and we were pleasantly surprised with the facilities. Very simple, but everything you need.

Great spot in heart of Waitomo and access to store, tomo bar and walk-in tracks. Exceptionally clean. Great grounds, nice pool and even better hot top. Petting farm is great for young kids and reasonably priced at $5. Thanks we enjoyed our stay
