Breakfast was great. Staff very friendly. Had great view of Chrysler Building up the street & down to water to right, to watch the sun rise. Much appreciated, as was a special visit after 35 years for my husband & first visit for my two daughters. Hotel left a note & wine, cookies & cheese in our room & we were so thankful for this thoughtful gesture. The beds were super comfortable which was welcome after long days sightseeing. Plenty of towels and replaced every evening when we returned. So glad we stayed & wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Seemed strange having breakfast in lobby. Not much seating if you wanted to just chill & was very busy, but didn’t take from our stay. Not a dislike, more of an observation.

The room was clean, and the staff was friendly. The hotel’s location was excellent, and I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next stay.

The hotel parking was more expensive than the nearby lots. I believe that if they lowered the price to match the others, more guests would use it. Also, the check-in time is a bit late at 4PM. It would be better to set it at 2PM like most hotels. Additionally, moving the check-out time from 11AM to 12PM would be a nice improvement.

Exceeding expectations is an understatement!! My boys have gone through a very hard loss and they were celebrating their first Thanksgiving without their best friends father. We surprised them with a stay in the city and the parade . Eve and the concierge team were so wonderful and tell the time to curate an amenity for the boys. Irina your GM is an angel from the heavens!. She greeted us at the door. Took us in and spent time with us. Her personality is beyond warm and gracious she is phenomenal and a real people person especially throughout a chaotic holiday season. I travel a lot for work and she by far is the most attentive, hands on GM I have had the pleasure to speak to!!! You have a remarkable team and I want them to be acknowledged and treated like I've seen them treat everyone that came into that hotel. My boys wrote her a thank you and words will never express the gratitude for the experience she and her team provided during a difficult time. We are team Irina and team Westin! May your holiday season be filled with love and health.

Appreciated the breakfast….very good choices! Drink coupons were a nice touch too! Floor cleaning staff were very prompt and so nice Loved being able to ask for a frig in the room

When I needed an extra night….woman at front desk was very little help. Was already there for 4 nites… Only could tell me it would b $1200 a nite. She seemed rather put off by my question. Oh well, it is nyc.,

Fantastic location, comfortable room.

Only issue I had was with the breakfast. Booking.com indicated a there was a daily voucher for 2 breakfast along with other items. In fact, there was only a voucher for one breakfast which was awkward when there were two of us. I didn’t understand why I had to spend an extra $30 a day for items that were not going to be used. I will say, the breakfast that I ate alone was really nice. I kept the voucher if you want to see their wording.

Location was amazing Belco on reception was helpful at all times. She is a credit to the hotel and made our stay as wonderful as can be

Lining up for breakfast. One day was for an hour and a nice gesture would have been a drink whilst waiting in the line. Wasn’t well thought out by management. We were there at Christmas and hopefully does not happen at other times of the year.

The rooms were very clean, bed was comfy. The staff was very nice! Also, the bartender gave us several recommendations on restaurants. Very nice man, Gill was his name!

The cleaning lady broke my hairdryer and didn't even leave a note. She tried to piece it back together as if I wouldn't know. I wouldn't have been mad but It would have been nice to know.

Great location!! Walking distance to many nyc touristy spots and close to grand central station and the subway. Starbucks was right down the block. Staff was super nice and attentive especially the valets. The room was spacious and the beds were super comfortable.

No mini fridge in our room. The ice machine was broken on our floor and we had to go to other floors.. not a Super big deal just kind of inconvenient. Our AC was not working super great but it was the hottest days of the summer when we traveled. Parking was expensive.

Room: The best I've had in my NY trip, compared to the airbnbs and the ones near airport. Spacious and Clean, Staff: Ah, such a warm welcome and a good talk while checking-in, they always greeted with a smile as we walked in from our tired day. This we definitely lacked for quite a while amongst most hotels we've been staying at lately. Location: The neighborhood is perfectly walkable, has a sandwich shop(with fresh juices) next door, Grand Central station is also at a walkable distance, CVS, Clothing and many more. Safety: We've got our NYC tours done and walked in to the hotel pretty late at night 11-12 and felt safe. Breakfast: We missed our weekend special breakfast but not a fan of the weekday breakfast(complimentary - limited to a single menu item). Others: Were offered complimentary breakfast coupon for one person for two days for a stay of 4ppl for 3days. Were given some credit for local bike(citi bike), and laundry credit too.

I loved the hotel . Staff was friendly. Location was ideal.

My booking was for 3 people yet no linen was provided for the sofa bed. Even after it was requested it took forever and a second call to be delivered. The same thing happened to our family members who also had a booking. The breakfast buffett was grossly overpriced as was the parking.
