Various breakfast - lunch - dinner options. The whole place is magical, clean, comfortable, and peaceful. Staff is respectful. They provide cleaned, cold water to refill your bottles. Important to mention: all the comments from before are valid (either positive or negative). However, consider a fact that you are in Indonesia, Lombok.. so everywhere these are the standards.. Like bumpy roads, etc. And 99% of the people can live with it, without any problems. We were traveling for a long time, and this accommodation was the best. Definitely a 10 out of 10.

Pool has limitation, especially the sunbeds. This is not really a negative thing as you are in Lombok, beautiful beaches are everywhere so you should not stay only at the pool. But sometimes quests were storing their towels on the beds and went for a 1-2 hours lunch while you would be able to enjoy the pool and the sunbeds. (and you could not, only just lay on the ground ) Maybe some rules would be great to be implemented.

What a beatiful place! The green environment and great interior, everything looks great. Also the staff was very good, kind and helpful. The breakfast was fine, but not too much. We had to order (and pay) extra every day. Also the breakfast menu had limited choices. If you stay a week the breakfast gets a bit boring.

The road to come at this place is a bit muddy and bumpy, especially when it rained a lot. You need a motorbike to get to the city center.

Porter Lombok is a great hotel. It is clean, has great design & architecture, with a great pool. It also has a good restaurant with a variety of meals. It has dorms, but it's not a hostel. The vibe very much caters for couples in the private rooms. The dorm beds are very much an addition. Don't expect a hostel atmosphere.

The main downside is that the hotel is about 1km down a really muddy path. This is pretty hard to use if walking, so a scooter is a must. Even with a scooter, you'll probably find yourself using the restaurant a lot. If you are the type of person who likes to pop out of your hotel a lot to use local businesses, Porter is probably not appropriate.

We stayed at porter for 5 nights and had the best, most relaxing time. The whole team were super friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay so great. The rooms were immaculate and the poolside is very relaxing surrounded by so much green space and plants. The food is delicious, especially the breakfast options! We also took a tour of the secret Gili islands arranged through the hotel. Huge shout out to our guide Agi who was so nice, we learned so much from him - a real highlight of our trip. The hotel is located a 15 minute walk from the main road in kuta but is easy to reach by foot if you don’t mind walking and the road is very well lit. The yoga space is also amazing and we enjoyed a great yin session with Satyena. I would highly recommend. Big thanks to the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable

The hotel was absolutely gorgeous (from reception, swimming pool and dining area) and our stay couldn’t have been better. The room was big, with lots of space to organise luggage and clothes, very clean and outdoor bathroom a dream. The breakfast was just perfect, with plenty of delicious options and the coffee was a amazingly tasty. Location was great too. We were warned by other reviews about the road but it was honestly not that bad. Only 20 min away from the busy and noisy roads of Kuta (3’ by scooter) so the hotel is very peaceful and quiet at night. The staff was fantastic, very nice and helpful :) We will definitely be back!!

Location was beautiful and serene. Could only hear the nature. Only a short drive to everywhere I needed to go in Kuta. Design of the place was beautiful. Lobby/restaurant was amazing, and the food was lovely - especially the chicken wrap! The dorms were amazing, especially considering the price! There are 3 beds per room, and 2 rooms. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. There is a small outside area outside the rooms with deckchairs which is a lovely touch. Connecting the two rooms is a large open space with storage for each bed, a sofa, sinks, toilet, shower, and another incredibly large bathroom. It didn’t feel like I was backpacking! Too luxurious. Airconditioning was AMAZING. The pool looked lovely but I didn’t get a chance to go in (too busy!). Renting a scooter from the hostel was easy. For 70k a day. Staff were more than lovely and housekeeping were VERY clean. Little cat was very cute too!

Road is a bit of a nightmare to drive a scooter on to get to the hotel. But that is not their fault. I had no problems with it, just was VERY bumpy (not ideal after a big dinner!)

Porter Hotel is a beautifully designed oasis. It was extremely clean, the facilities and rooms were great and really pretty. The hotel offers organisation for everything you could need (tours, laundry, good food and drinks, transport, surfing, yoga, etc). Room, pool, restaurant were all stunning. The yoga on the rooftop was amazing and the teacher was very attentive. The staff are extremely helpful, kind and attentive - one of the highlights here! They made an effort to remember details about you and accommodate your needs. It is situated a bit off the beaten path and it takes a while to get into Kuta centre - but if you’re looking for a tranquil, relaxing time in a secluded paradise this is the perfect place!

The staff were so friendly and attentive. The decor and comfort are amazing! I LOVED the outdoor shower! The communal pool area is really beautiful and has a nice vibe with people coming and going, as it’s the centre piece to the accomodation. It is a beautiful oasis from the bustle of Kuta central but still a short scooter into the centre. The staff organise scooters and activities for those interested. It was a great stay!

Nothing. I loved it. I wanted to extend my stay but they were booked out, so get in quick! FYI, it is about 1km on a semi-rough road from the main road. It is a better use of time to scooter than walk, but it’s a slightly bumpy ride. I’m relatively comfortable riding a scooter so not a problem, but for those that aren’t it’s worth mentioning.

Everything about this place is perfect, from the luxurious beds (I stayed in one of the dorm rooms but the hotel rooms also look gorgeous), the amazing staff, the friendly vibe, the enormous included breakfast, the gorgeous bathrooms, the rooftop yoga and the stunning pool. I was solo and met the loveliest travellers here. One of the best places I’ve ever stayed, and I’ve travelled all over the world. Come here to rest and reset, I cannot recommend it enough :)

Absolutely nothing, the owners have put attention into every single detail

Porter Hotel is a beautifully designed hotel with a gorgeous pool in the hills, a little way from the main drag in Kuta, Lombok. It is just delightful to be in the hills. The service and staff are outstanding. Rene who manages Reception is totally lovely and helpful and so is the manager, Emily. Both were kind and went over and above, when my baggage was left in Singapore (no thanks to SIA) and delivered late at night just before we were leaving for Labuan Bajo. Rene and Emily both found a solution to store our main luggage as we were travelling with hand luggate only to Labuan Bajo. They didn't have to offer this service as there is no bag store in the hotel, but did so willingly with charm and kindness. Thank you to Emily, Rene and the whole team for offering a safe, peaceful and wonderful haven after long haul flight stress. Definitely recommended and would love to visit again.
