The place was spotless, and the staff was EXCEPTIONAL! Maria, in particular, stood out— I had the pleasure of interacting with her multiple times. She was incredibly welcoming, kind, and offered some really helpful tips. I can’t thank her enough for her positive attitude. I also had the chance to meet another woman on the team who was always available to answer any questions I had. Their dedication made my experience even better!

The first day I initially struggled to get an answer on how to get in the property. However that was resolved within 30min. The water in the shower stopped working one evening for a little bit but shortly later that night it worked again !

Staff were very accommodating. Very good at responding via WhatsApp. Able to check in on arrival early and store our luggage prior to leaving. The room had a stunning view and everything we needed inside. The sink in the room was great as it meant we didn't always have to go down to the shared bathroom. Bathrooms were always clean. Coffee and tea selction in morning + biscuits/cake/croissant (this was a lovely addition in the price). Thank you for our stay it was lovely 😊

The walls could do with repainting, there were some cracks in the paint. The beds weren't very comfortable but were fine and wouldn't put me off staying again.

We loved the location of Casa Favaretto, away from the crowds, but still well connected to the airport, Piazza San Marco, Canal Grande, Lido, Burano, Murano, and Torcello by public transport. The Casa itself was clean and well maintained. Our room (no. 5) was on the smaller side, but it had a double bed, 2 small chairs, a table, and a sink as well as stunning views of the canal and part of the laguna. The lady who checked us in was lovely, although communication was a little difficult as she only spoke Italian. We later communicated more with the owner Alessandro through WhatsApp and got all our questions answered that way. All in all, it was a wonderful stay, and we can't wait to return!

Location was the perfect spot for someone that wants to visit the Art Biennale, also close to restaurants and the water bus to and from the Airport is 1 minute away in front of the guest house. Despite being in a busy area, my room was really quiet which was great. I liked having a sink in my room, too! And lastly but really important, the host was incredibly helpful and communicative via messages before and during my stay!

My room's view was towards an inner patio, but didn't need more since I was there for a short stay. If I would have stayed longer, I would have probably wanted a room with a street view. The bed was also made of two single mattresses, but because I was alone this didn't actually matter. The bed was still very comfortable.

Great location close to Arsenale stop from where you can take a vaparetto straight to San Marco, Rialto and central station. The room was clean and big with a fridge and kettle, we also had our own sink. For breakfast there were some teas, coffee and some snacks (packed croissants and some cookies) Despite shared bathroom, there was no issue in the occupancy. In the hallway there was a fridge with our own space for storage and also drinks you could take and leave a small fee in a box on top of the fridge. We only met one of the cleaning ladies when we checked in, we were too early but could already leave our bags. The lady was very kind and despite not speaking english, she provided very clear instructions with showing and handgestures. She also put our bags in our room when it was done and already provided the keys with the promise we would return later when it would be clean.

The location of Casa Favaretto could not be better. You are right on the main "avenue/water" and short walk to the Doge's Palace and St Mark's, 2 vaporetta stops nearby and Girabaldi Strada around the corner with many cafes and restaurants. Although this guest house has spotless shared bathrooms, there was never a wait or a long distance from the room. The Guest House was full, but I never encountered anyone. This is a such an incredible value for Venice!

The Casa (Hostal) has a great location, about 3 min from the Vaporetto station Arsenale, walking about 12 min to the Piazza San Marco. It is quiet, very clean and the owners are kind. The shared bathrooms are cleaned every day. The room had some equipment for coffee and tea and cookies. The bed was convenient. The Wifi was very fast and reliable. For entering the Casa, guests get keys and thus can enter all the time themselves. As it is difficult with supermarkets in Venezia, about 5 min walking is a nice COOP supermarket. In this street are also several restaurants.

The location is excellent. Although you have to share a bathroom the room is big and have a basin. The bathroom was always clean. Inside the room you get a kettle with coffee and tea and snacks. There is also a shared fridge in the corridor. The room was very clean. You get clean towels every day. We were really surprised with Casa Favaretto and enjoyed our stay. Clear directions in English were given about how to reach the establishment. That helped us a lot and saved a lot of time. Thank you very much for that information.

The guest house is very clean, quite, in the best place of Venice - on the very coast of the woderful lagoona and very close to the main places of sightseeing. Personnel is very polite and friendly. Communication is very good. Vaporetto station is in a walking distance of two minutes. And you can go everywhere you wish from there. Our room was not small, beds very comfortable. They even gave us possibility to make breakfast in the room, - we got a cattle , coffee, tea, sugar, biscuits, cups, glasses, though breakfast was not included separately in the room price. If I ever come back to Venice (I wish already), I would really like to stay again in the guest house Casa Favaretto. I highly recommend it to all my friends! The location couldn't be better - right by Arsenale vaporetto stop, Via Garibaldi for great food options, 15 minutes walk from San Marco, the best breakfast pastries at the café next door. Lovely views across the lagoon, and we enjoyed hearing the water and boats into the evening. We received a very warm welcome, and the hosts were very helpful and kind. Thank you Casa Favaretto!

Obviously it would be lovely to have a private bathroom, but the shared one was fine.
