Booked this hotel for the location in the V&A Waterfront and it is an ideal location for first time visitors to Cape Town. You can walk around this are safely and there are plenty of shops, restaurants and attractions. The hotel is modern and the staff helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious and we were upgraded to one with a balcony overlooking the waterfront. Breakfast was included and excellent. Plenty of options for vegans.

Housekeeping could be better. I've never spent so much time on the phone asking for housekeeping to do things. On the other hand, they reponded really quickly so not a major issue. I would prefer my room was cleaned and clean towels placed without having to keep asking though. The room service menu could be improved. Only one vegan option, the plant based burger isn't that nice and it's a boring option. The breakfast menu has several items that could be added to room service to improve this.

The room as good in size, with the view that I wanted and clean. The staff if very friendly and supportive and obviously the Hotel is very well located, close to everything and within a beautiful neighbourhood, full of live and culture.

The food, particularly the room service menu is poor and not good (in terms of choice, variety and simple flavours). It resembled more of a teenage menu than a menu for adults who travel . Furthermore, I requested a simple dish from room service (tomato pasta) and nowhere it said that the dish came with a ton of melted cheese. When I requested to the waiter to ask the kitchen to exchange it, since I couldn't eat cheese, I never got a reply from anyone (however it was paid already). The waiter didn't even seem to bother to the fact that I mentioned I was allergic to the cheese in the dish and nowhere in the menu it said that plate came full of cheese.

Modern and stylish hotel, nice people working in Radisson RED. You can notice that hotel staff do a lot of things to do the guests staying on the high level;)

Breakfast time is overloaded with the guests of course, but there were only few staff to deal with table serving and taking the orders, we had to spend some time for waiting the clean table and making the order. There is not enough space in the room and we constantly banged our feet on the corners of the bed, it would be better to cover the corners with some soft upholstery:) Provided hairdryer didn't fit to any outlets in the room, i had to ask for charging adapter and i got it, but it's strange 😆 have a hairdryer that can not be plugged into any outlets) I think that the price for accommodation is overrated about 20%

Hotel situated just off the Waterfront, depending on which side of the hotel good view of Table Mountain. Welcome drink on arrival and ample sweets and popcorn whenever fancied. room well equipped with tea and coffee facilities, usb ports and plenty of storage (no trouser hangers in my room but colleague did so are available). large walk in shower with both hand held and rainfall shower heads. Breakfast good buffet and cooked available and reasonably priced.

Quite trendy hotel with mixed clientele, youngsters seemed to head to the pool bar on the roof. Swimming pool definition is a little stretched only appeared to be about 25 meters by 3 meters and full if one person swimming! very loud atmosphere on the roof so was unable to work up there. downstairs bar does have outside seating area which is nice but quite public if you want to work.

Excellent location, nice walk through touristy areas that are kept clean and safe (we preferred this location to sea point). Minimalistic decoration, but tasteful; room larger than we expected based on reviews; lots of light; table mountain picture perfect, lots of space to store our things; good beds and linens. Our kids LOVED that they each had their own TV (with Disney channel, cartoons CN, and others) with their own earphones (but one TV's earphone system wasnt working). Free sweeties and popcorn downstairs. Very friendly, efficient and active staff.

Swimming pool is a narrow long stretch 2 meters wide (we didnt realise from photos) and narrow terrace so we ended up not staying there. Breakfast selection is large but ingredients are just OK (but thank you for having original Nutella!). Cleanliness is generally good, but there was black mold on the grouting on the walls of our shower.

The reception/lobby staff were incredibly nice and attentive. We loved the little extra details gave the lobby such a great vibe (welcome drinks, popcorn & sweets, plus ping pong). The room was very clean, the bed super comfortable and we had an amazing view (floor to ceiling) of Table Mountain! We’ll definitely come back if ever in Capetown again. Location wise it is just a 7 minute-walk from lots of nice restaurants and shops on the waterfront.

The showers were super hot water, no way of regulating it a bit to make it just warm. Service at the Oui Bar wasn’t the most efficient.

Easy access to the V&A Waterfront, in walking distance, and well managed by Security (V&A), very handy and easy accessible 24hrs a day. Room was comfortable, albeit basic, but the shower was very good and the products, but very comfy and brilliant setup. Still never got the breakfast, but due to me doing work things and racing off for the cricket.

The fact that the cricket stayed playing for 3-4 days, not 1.5 days as it was, but that had nothing to do with the hotel, lol. But it was very good and if they have space, I will be back start of April.

Stayed at the radisson red for 3 nights post cruise Had a fantastic warm welcome from the reception staff and Elliot ! Great location a stones throw from the V&A waterfront and as a woman travelling on my own it felt really safe with lots of security in that area had a really nice room with a very comfortable bed etc All the staff were fantastic and Angus at the pool bar and Thimna in the restaurant/oui bar made it extra special Thank you everyone at the radisson for making my stay in Cape Town a trip I will never forget xx

Everything about this place was incredible. The location was great, I managed to explore all of the V+A waterfront on foot from the hotel while being able to pop back in throughout the day. The food was absolutely amazing and delicious with a large variety to choose from. The room was delightful, so clean and comfy and the amenities were great. But the biggest thing I loved was the service. I arrived late at night and very tired but I was greeted warmly and excitedly. Throughout my whole stay the service is the best I've ever had. Nothing was ever an issue and everyone was extremely kind, positive, jovial and friendly. Every single staff member went above and beyond. Elliott was amazing and made sure I was happy. He never failed to put a huge smile on my face!! I will definitely be staying here when I come back to Cape Town and have told everyone I know to stay here too!

Very friendly and helpful staff, lovely welcome and check in experience. Restaurant handy downstairs. As with my previous Radisson experiences the rooms are immaculate - some of the most comfy beds ever and never a cleanliness complaint. Decent size too. Good location, easy to get Ubers from to explore the city. Felt very safe even when being dropped off at night. Convenient luggage storage facility.

We decided to pay the slight but extra for a mountain view room and honestly I wasn't that impressed - if this is classed as a (full) mountain view I'd hate to see what the partial mountain view rooms give you... Restaurant was nice, and food was served in a timely manner. Unfortunately on both occasions we had to leave the table to find someone to pay as we gave up waiting for the service staff to appear for us to grab their attention - maybe it was towards the end of the night and they were tailing off.
