We did extensive research on which hotel to choose on Long Beach, and this was by far the best option! We originally booked for 2 nights but ended up extending our stay to 7 nights because we absolutely loved it here. The resort provided a free boat upon arriving and departing, also the resort has everything you need: clean, spacious rooms that are cleaned everyday, comfortable sunbeds, a clean beachfront, one pool with a view of the sea, another pool in the territory, a shower in the beach area, excellent breakfast, super friendly and professional staff, a beachfront restaurant and also a trolley around the territory so it was possible to go from the room to lobby by car. The restaurant was very good and our stomachs felt great (we drank iced drinks and tried different foods). The location is perfect—easy to reach the city center by longboat (10 minutes) or on foot (about 30-40 minutes). However, be careful when returning to the hotel late at night, as there may be some scammer taxi boats (which are not connected to the hotel). The resort also has its own shop if you need items like SPF cream, water, snacks, ice cream, or anything else. During our 7-day stay, we explored other hotels along Long Beach, and we’re convinced this is the best choice. Phi Phi The Beach Resort offers sunbeds, a beachfront restaurant, a large and green property, a shop, a beach where you can easily swim, and a great snorkeling spot—things the other hotels didn’t offer. One day, we booked a private longboat tour to Maya Bay (Phi Phi Le Island, the island where Leonardo DiCaprio filmed The Beach) which was a super fun experience! We booked the tour at the bar, located on the hotel’s property. I also had a small injury on my leg, and the hotel staff were incredibly professional, cleaning the wound very thoroughly. Thank you!

This beach resort offers a perfect tropical escape with single-room huts that have stunning views of the sea, palm trees, and beach. The huts are simple yet comfortable, designed to blend with the natural surroundings. The views are phenomenal. You can wake up to the sound of waves and enjoy the beauty of the ocean right from your veranda. The atmosphere is peaceful and ideal for a relaxing getaway. The resort is built on a hillside so there is a lot of stairs which we enjoyed daily although some might not so they offer free shuttle service to your room whenever needed. We really liked the breakfasts (fabulous mix of Thai and international) and the resort restaurant is very well priced and serves delicious food. The staff are genuinely friendly. The snorkelling at this resort is worth mentioning. Do Not Miss! Town is very accessible and has lots of fun food options and markets.

The resort offers convenient longtail taxi boat rides to town for 100 - 150 baht per person (depending on the time of day) but don't mention that there is a beautiful paved walking path just about all the way into town along the beach with a sea view! We only discovered it on our last day and would have loved to use it more. There are a few view hikes in the area but beware of aggressive monkeys. Monkeys are a problem because tourists feed them. Garbage management is an issue across the entire island.

Clean room, nice staff, delicious food

We had an unpleasant experience: After checking in, we went to Phi Phi central commercial area Tongtsai, and the only way back to the hotel after dinner was by taking a taxiboat with a fixed docking point, at a beach near the hotel. When we arrived at the beach dock and called the hotel, we were informed that they do not provide a pickup service from the beach to the hotel. As a result, we had to walk for 20 minutes along a completely dark mountain road with only a flashlight. It is unreasonable that the hotel does not provide shuttle service to the beach at any time other than checking in, considering both convenience and safety, given the restricted transportation options in this location. Hope this can be improved.

The room was very pleasant, it offerred everything a person needs for a vacation, cooled by the air conditioner and a terrace in front of the room. Both beach towels and bathroom towels were changed every day. We also really liked the breakfast, because they really offer a lot of choice - sweet food, salty food, fruit, vegetables, eggs prepared in many ways and even Thai noodles Thai rice and sweets. In front of the accommodation there is a pleasant clean beach with an emerald sea.

There are two rooms in each house. The problem was that the room next to ours was only separated by a door, which was not soundproof in any way, even though it was locked on both sides. Since we had a very loud family as neighbors, who were loud late at night and also very early in the morning, we could not sleep well.

A little piece of paradise away from the chaos of the main town of Phi Phi. Loved that it was only accessible by boat-it made coming in and seeing the villas on the hill that little bit more special. You could stay here without need to go anywhere else as there’s a shop and a restaurant, yet there are several other hotels along this stretch of beach where you can eat. The beach is beautiful and there are two pool options. The view from our room was amazing! We loved this place so much we stayed an extra night. We will be telling all our friends traveling to Thailand to add this place to their list!

The bed could have been softer, but it was fine.

One set of friends took the full sea view and the remaining took partial. The view from the former was good and the latter wasn't bad. Spacious rooms and has good amenities like kettle, free water bottles, etc. Free boat service from the pier to the resort during the day and back (that helped a great deal with our luggage). Multiple pick up trucks are available inside the resort for going to and from as most rooms are uphill. Breakfast was amazing! The washroom size for partial bed is massive and the shower area is insanely large!

The front desk could be more enthusiastic when we arrived for check-in. The full sea view room air conditioning took a lot of time for the room to cool. This resort name is Phi Phi Beach Resort and the resort next to this property is called Phi Phi Long Island Beach Resort (just an fyki and as per my friend got dropped to the latter and had to walk in the night). Pool size is not that great.

Villa grand deluxe with seaview. Jungle style furniture. Flora in the area was amazing! We booked for 2adults and 2 children. View from the room was excellent. Beach was one of the top beaches I saw in Thailand. Beach was clean with blue watter with few hammocks and many free sunbeds- in front of the resort. Few steps from the restaurant we found eden on earth. Monkeys, birds, small lizards included. Pool was fine for children. Food in restaurant (including brakfast) was nice. Few restaurants in the area. Free longboat shuttle from Tonsai pier.

Room was very small for 4 people. The price for the villa was high considering this is 3 star resort, you pay for the area. If you would get villa with seaview you will need to do a lot of steps multiple times per day - which is not bad if you like workouts (I was fine with that - seaview was worth it). Other option is to ask resort staff to bring you to upper villas by car (no problem for them).

Excellent accommodation with a fantastic view from our room. Breakfast and other meals were lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Isolated location and heavily rutted path to the road made it difficult to walk into town, stairs are required at the path just beyond Paradise Pearl. We found the wifi connection frustrating as you had to re-login as you moved from bungalow to beach or restaurant. It also frequently dropped out.

Can't beat the location, just beautiful.. the outdoor restaurant and breakfast area were clean and comfortable. Good food and drinks. Reasonable prices. Our villas were superb and well stocked with water and beach towels, Smart Tvs were connected to Wi-Fi and Internet was fine everywhere in the resort. Transfer was well organised from the pier both ways and we were met by staff. Good snorkeling opportunities at Phi Phi Le. Rides up the hill were reasonably quick if needed to avoid the walk up to our Villas. Fast check In and out.

The long boat ride over was a bit overloaded for my liking but we arrived ok The tour office lady was a bit uninterested in explaining the snorkeling tour. Maybe more warning about the sea urchins that can be stepped on accidently at low tide. The working pool was small but clean however the infinity pool was Fenced off and closed.

I would recommend for anyone who loves the beach to come here, it’s quiet and away from the intensity of the markets and stalls etc in the main area of PhiPhi. The staff are amazing and drive you up to your room whenever you need ( if you’re staying up in the hills.) we often chose to walk down as there’s beautiful nature and views. The waters crystal clear blue with small fish!

I personally found the bed very uncomfortable, but my partner didn’t seem bothered, so it might not matter for some people. There’s not many options for food, we only had one restaurant we would go to ( they have amazing friend rice and we weren’t disappointed by anything we got) but we did have to get the Boat taxi into the city for meals sometimes.
