Beautiful quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of town. Magnificent views.. I read alot of reviews from people saying the staff were rude which I have to say is just not true. The staff are more reserved than what you'll find in the busier places in Phuket which I enjoyed. They are lovely people who just want to please you. The rooms are big and clean. The walk into town is about 15-20 minutes which we enjoyed. Previous review said there was monkeys and sea urchins, both of which we didn't see. Only one monkey which left us alone. Lots of beautiful little friendly cats that seem to be well looked after and were so friendly.

The beds were a little uncomfortable, but that is pretty standard throughout Thailand.

Paradise pearl is an absloutly stunning hotel. The beach on the door step is so convenient with lots of free loungers to use across the beach and in the shade. The view is incredible day and night time. The sea is clear and is fairly deep as soon as stepping in. The room was a standard room with an incredible big balcony and amazing view. However, the shower was one shower with hot water and another shower with cold with an attempt to mix the water which works very poorly. The rooms are clean to an extent but, the finish it needs is not there for example, cleaning mirrors and glass. This hotel is set 7-10 minutes boat ride from the main peir. On arriving the staff will be waiting for you to help put your bags on the free boat over the the hotel. Every ride after Is 100 bar and it's very unreliable. We waited an hour every time for a boat on the other side just to get back. At night time its a scary one to pick if to go to the pier incase can't get back. My brother did this one night and they then hike the price to 1000 there and back knowing there was no way really back and he was on his own. You can walk from pardise to the pier it's a 50 minute walk on Google maps through chicken island slightly but, the walk is down hill on the way there and very steep uphill on the way back it was 34 degrees yesterday it isn't an easy walk in the heat. The food at the restaurant is average there is a selection of very random foods .. we found after the food from here we all had bad belly and bad wind. You can do your laundry here at the price of 1kg 80 bah and it takes 2 days to do. If you go over to the pier there is a washing service which you can do a 15kg wash for 40bah. The shop onsite is not very full and doesn't have much in but, does have a selection of drinks.

Fantastic location, taking full advantage of the jewel of a beach. Very decent transfer options for check-in and checkout via long-boat. We felt like we were in heaven with the wonderful gardens with butterflies flitting around, the adorable cats, the fab restaurant. Moreover, our room was upgraded to the king room which was the most fabulous room we have ever stayed in, with lush wooden decor. It truly felt like paradise. Though this shouldn't be a factor as not everyone is going to land up with an upgrade (it happened due to a problem with the original room we were told), I must stress that the King bungalow may well be super worth the money. Finally, staff were helpful with every query, we booked a fantastic half day snorkelling tour through them and also they kept good note of transfer requirements. We would definitely come back here!!

Cleanliness could be a tiny bit better in the rooms, and the doors and windows are also a bit rickety and old-fashioned. Nothing major - it just seems like a little bit of upgrading could absolutely seal the deal with this place. Also NOT AN ISSUE with the hotel, but people should really understand that it is not walkable to the central pier area after dark or multiple times a day. It is walkable for a lovely morning or sunset stroll through the jungle and beaches, but not otherwise. And after dark though you can get a longboat back if you really need to, it's a bit of a hectic landing back into the hotel. As long as a quieter paradise-like setting is what you're hoping for though - this is it!

Incredible location. Restaurant was excellent. The resort is a little older but rooms were very clean and spacious, beds were very comfortable. We loved the more traditional Thai decor. The beach was beautiful. Sand was perfect and it was one of the first beaches in Thailand this California girl was happy to swim in. Very nice staff. I had two massages from the same masseuse who did some therapy on a bad shoulder that I will be thankful for for some time. Restaurant was very good. Overall just a great experience.

As I said, older resort but very clean, large rooms and very comfortable.

I like everything about the property, was just in front of the beautiful beach (i think it was amongst the best on the island). Restaurant served very good & tasty food. Rooms were very spacious.

I found a snake (big one) on the pedestrian while walking to my room in the night. The lights in the premises are motion sensor lights and it turned up only after my wife walked past the snake. She could have stepped on the snake and god knows was could have happened. I was walking behind her and I saw the snake when the light turned on, and then light turned off again and i was in the dark with a snake nearby. Although it was a beautiful stay, we spent 2 nights in fear. I understand that snakes can come at areas like this but staff should do a thorough checking on regular basis for such things.

Beautiful property on basically a private beach. This is in the quiet area of Koh Phi Phi, which I would highly recommend. Very chill and secluded. Comfortable stay, good food and relaxing vibes.

The staff working at the restaurant gave the feeling they really did not want to be there, unlike most Thai people who are incredible friendly. It seems like the same people were working in the morning and the evening, so maybe they are just overworked.

The location is the winner here... wow what views and the beach is spectacular !! We stayed in the older style bungalows and they were very dated. You pay for what you get; if I were to go back, I would upgrade. The resort is 30 min walk into town along a good beachside walk. We walked into town and got a boat back. The staff are friendly and the food good, especially the Thai food.

The staff seemed to be very quick to hurry you - for example; breakfast finishes at 10 am... at 9.45am they approached our table and told us they were closing also when we checked (this was 20 mins before the deadline time) out they stood outside our room hovering over us, pressuring us to leave. We traveled with kids and tried Western food, but it was hit and miss.

Room A3 - This really is a piece of paradise here. You are collected for free from Tonsai Pier and brought round to Long Beach (takes 5-10 mins) where the crew will assist you with your luggage off the boat and up to your room. The welcome is very warm. The resort itself is beautiful, rustic and in line with nature (monkeys, cats and bugs). Our room had a shared balcony (it's very big though) and had such an amazing view of the beach and Phi Phi Leh. The bed was so comfortable and soft (a rarity in Thailand haha) and the aircon worked great. The room was made up daily and promptly whilst at breakfast. The restaurant is gorgeous, right on the beach but also seating under cover and shaded. Breakfast has great variety, not vasts amounts on offer, but perfect for all tastes. The all-day menu is so good, literally caters for everyone and their needs - they can easily alter a dish to your dietary/ allergy requirements. The food is generous, delicious and reasonably priced. Saves trapesing around Phi Phi for a restaurant after a day on the beach when the perfect one is on your doorstep. The beach itself is quiet, the sand full of shells but soft at the same time. There isn't much boat traffic coming in/ out which is heaven. The water is blue and clear. You can kayak or swim in the designated area. Viking Bay/ Resort is next door - you can either walk over the rocks or around the back where the path is (note the beginning of the path is steep with a rope, sadly with a lot of litter). You can then carry on walking to other bays and into Phi Phi Town. The water taxi will cost 100bht p/p each way. You can arrange two tours via Reception which go via speedboat for all day at 10:00 or half day (5/6 hours) at 13:00. The cost of a long-tail boat for 3 hours (based on two people) is the same as the half day organised tour.

Only slight constructive thing I'd say is the bathroom could do with updating. It's functional but the shower is poor and quite rusty. I love rustic but not rusty.

We were greeted at reception with a delicious pineapple and coconut drink upon arrival. The long boat brought us from the Ton Sai pier. The mattresses were exceptional - so comfortable that I checked the brand to try to purchase one. The surroundings were idyllic and the view was outstanding. The food at the store was very reasonably priced so no need to bring anything. The restaurant was also very well-priced and the meals delicious.

Lovely location, beautiful views from restaurant. Clean beach, free deck chairs and umbrellas, Room was spacious ,in a garden setting that was well maintained

With such a beautiful setting, we wantef to extend our stay on Phi Phi.(Long Beach) Unsurprisingly, Paradise Pearl was fully booked but we got accommodation right next door at Viking. It took a lot of "negotiating" to get us and luggage out of Paradise Pearl to Viking on the morning we checked out. Thev lady at the reception finally arranged for our transfer once she took pity on us trying to carry our bags over the rocky outcrop that separated the neighboring accommodation sites. We are grateful for her eventually coming to our aid. Staff seemed to be just "doing their job", lacking some of the friendliness we experienced elsewhere in Phuket/Krabi.
