Great location for one night and leaving for the airport early in the morning. We left a telephone in one of our rooms and had to contact manager at 4.30am to organise to get it into a taxi and to the airport before we departed. Poor communication with not happy manager but we so appreciated this being done for us.

We booked an airport transfer and was told to pay the driver as per the metre in the taxi. The taxi did not have a metre and it was a per person price which had to be paid in cash. We didnt have cash when we arrived at the airport at 5am so had to get to an ATM. This could of been avoided if the correct information had been given.

Loved this place and would highly recommend it. Comfortable, clean, safe, well located. The breakfast was a bit pricey but OH so worth it, fantastic selection and the home made jams were definitely the highlight. Another great plus point is the private on site parking (i.e. inside the gates of the property) -- good to have the peace of mind. Wifi worked well, good pillows and beds, good shower, quiet area but there's a shopping center about a 10' walk away, and a nice restaurant for dinner also within easy walking distance. Spent two nights here both on our way into and out of Windhoek, absolutely no complaints.

Our first night in Namibia before setting out on our adventure. Capbon was perfect. The guesthouse was comfortable, clean, safe, and well located in a quiet area. The private parking inside the gates of the property gave us peace of mind about our vehicle being safe. The wifi worked well, beds were comfortable, shower was good and hot. I’d happily stay there again.

We had a very nice stay. We had a nice airy room and all the facilities we needed. We were able to watch England play in the football World Cup on the TV in the room. The breakfast was fine and there was a nice swimming pool, which we didn't manage to use as we were only passing through Windhoek. There was a lovely restaurant behind the hotel, just a two minute walk away. One doesn't feel as though one is in the middle of a busy city. It was a very comfortable stay.

We didn't realise that it wasn't very safe to walk around Windhoek. This is not fault of the hotel, which was very secure and safe.

Double room with a small kitchen but everything needed for self catering. Our room was at the rear so was quiet and private. Everything was clean and tidy and the manager was really helpful providing local advice - nothing was too much trouble. Short taxi ride into the central city so a great location. Riverside cafe is a local restaurant recommended by the manager is 100 mtr walking distance, and has very reasonably priced meals and drinks.

The location was very conveniently located within walking distance of a well stocked SPAR and local restaurant. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, the room was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable.

There was nothing we didn’t like!

This was our second stay at Capbon Guesthouse and it did not disappoint. The accommodation was clean, spacious, secure and well maintained and had everything we needed for a comfortable overnight stay in Windhoek.

Everything was great!

High level of cleanliness, great internet quality the best I have ever seen so far in Windhoek, very peaceful for some looking for recharge if batteries ahead of new year. Great!!

No complains

Lovely guesthouse with very friendly hosts. Excellent breakfast offered with a German flavour. The room was quite large, the adjoining bathroom also quite adequate.

The guest next door was a heavy smoker, and right under our bathroom window. The smell filtered right through the room unless the windows were tightly closed. I suggest separate smoking and non-smoking areas, not just rooms, to reduce the annoyance.

I liked the location and the overall setup, It is really a nice place. Friendly hosts and patient with our demands. Breakfast was really good.

The place absolutely amazing. My team loved it and wanted to extend the stay, unfortunately not enough rooms were available for us to extend.
