We loved our room. The friendly and helpful staff made us feel very welcome. We also did not have to move off-site for dinner as there were a choice of restaurants in and around the hotel. We had to leave early the next morning and would not have been able to enjoy breakfast at the hotel, they insisted to offer us a nice takeaway breakfast which was appreciated.

We were a bit troubled by the patrolling security personnel brandishing automatic weapons. Perhaps that was due to visiting dignitaries from other countries staying at the hotel who came to attend the funeral of Namibian State president a day or what after we left. Probably to be expected at an hotel of this quality.

Beautiful rooms Concerned and very helpful staff

The beautiful rooms are missing the soft touches Eg. I had to go hunting for the bottled water in a small out of the way refrigerator despite widespread glasses in appropriate places. Loft apartments are gorgeous but getting a suitcase up and down the spiral stairs to the sleeping area isn’t easy. I had to go back down to the little refrigerator to get bottled water. So gorgeous but needs a little more thought by whomever is in charge of the rooms.

My daughter's checked suitcase did not arrive on our flight and we were departing on safari the next day. Your staff bent over backwards to help her with contacting the airlines involved and arranging for pick up once it arrived. The proximity to the adjacent variety of restaurants was very nice.

At breakfast the room could get too full because of tour groups and having to eat outside was rather cold. However, the breakfast was fantastic! The location is removed from town so transport had to be arranged and was a little expensive.

I prefer to have business package for our company, which can include breakfast and dinner but has discount. And then I will suggest all my colleagues to stay here. I dislike less safety environment and noise fair, but luckily there are no this happened during my stay in the hotel. Please keep it and do some discount for me.

Everything!!! literally everything you want/need is in this location! now I understand why it’s always booked out! I will definitely come back! actually I’m about to book my next trip here in 3 months but it’s already booked out 😩, cause I would stay here and nowhere else in Windhoek! Staff are amazing! the manager looked after us so well! I was traveling alone with my baby, they made sure to keep me in my room with a bath so I didn’t have to move because I made two bookings, they are wonderful! The room was absolutely BEAUTIFUL ANS COMFORTABLE!!! I would transport the bed to my place if I could!! I slept like a baby in there! 😍😍😍The breakfast was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! There are also a couple of restaurants within the grounds which offer AMAZING FOOD!!!! I mean here there is absolutely no disappointments!!! 100/100!!!!

The Weinberg is a very comfortable, well-run hotel, we enjoyed our brief stay there. Good dinner. We also ate at the Fish Market restaurant just next door one evening and that was good too. Good breakfast at the Weinberg in a very pleasant room.

A staff gratuities box on the reception desk for all staff might be a useful addition (as you find in all places we went to in Namibia), as I must admit to being rather taken aback, on checking out, when a young man on reception thrust an envelope my way and, on being asked what was it for, he told me bluntly it was for tips - which did not seem to be discretionary in such circumstances. I did not appreciate that way of doing it at all.

Breakfast was excellent -- loved the fruit and yogurt, and the eggs Benedict were superb. The coffee was good, too, but wish you could get a refill or a top-off without going through the whole procedure of brewing another cup. My room was clean and quiet. And I enjoyed sitting outside my room on the terrace before my taxi arrived.

I desperately needed a shower when I returned after the safari and was disappointed that the water never heated up. Next day the manager said I should have call the desk, but that was unrealistic, as I would have had to get dressed again and wait! When I suggested that the hotel should waive the cost of my pina colada in exchange for the lukewarm water, my request was denied -- a missed opportunity to please the guest! Overall the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

The hotel is located in a complex with other restaurants and the rooms overlook a central swimming pool and the main restaurant. Staff were very friendly and helpful and tended to the needs of guests. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and modern. There was a good selection at breakfast.

There was a large mirror facing the bed so cushions were needed to cover this while I was sleeping. There was no covered access between the car park and the hotel so we had to wait till the rain abated to walk across with our luggage after we parked.

Nicely fitted bedroom and beautiful bathroom. Great bar on the roof of the hotel with a nice view of the city.

Breakfast was disappointing. Soft poached eggs ordered, but arrived hard. Omelette ordered without peppers, but arrived with peppers and very stingy on the cheese. Overall breakfast was bland and not in keeping with the hotel standard. Service on rooftop bar very slow. Please replace Cremora packets at the coffee stations in the room with real milk!

mix up on accommodation on arrival which was eventually sorted out after our complaints. The wrong room was given to us and as being elderly we could not climb the spiral stairs up to the loft bedroom. The room we had paid for 8 months earlier was a double room overlooking the courtyard with no stairs. Reception staff should allocate the room booked, they could see we would never have managed to climb spiral staircases. What a waste of time !!! It annoyed us after a 5 hour drive to have to trek backwards and forwards to different rooms. So we probably would not stay here again. Sorry you have lost a guest.
