great location, the hotel is 150m from the Miracle Square and the tower, you can see it from the windows of some rooms as well as from the dining room. the room is clean and cozy, in a retro style. in the bathroom soap and shampoo, hairdryer. the service is nice, friendly and helpful. the breakfast is delicious, 2 types of cold cuts, 2 types of cheese, hard-boiled eggs, yogurts, croissants, fruits, jams, juices, Nutella, cereals and milk. delicious coffee. the towels smelled nice. it is hard to find parking nearby, so if you do not intend to go anywhere further, it is best to move around on foot, (everything is close) and to the airport take a taxi (8 min, 4.6 km). we got a room with a balcony and a view of the tower and the baptistery, I rate the stay as very successful. in other reviews there is often a comment that the hotel is old, needs renovation and the bathrooms are small. It's true that it has seen its best years, but it has a great style and the whole thing is cozy and consistent, the rooms and bathroom are clean, and that's the most important thing.

Our room was fab, we stayed in room 57. It had a king-size bed and the room was large with a sofa, desk and wardrobe also. We then had a very large balcony which was perfect for in the evenings and had a nice table and chairs to sit down on. The hotel staff were great and very friendly and offered advice and knowledge where needed. Location was perfect as it was only a 1 minute walk to the tower and had loads of local restaurants, supermarkets and places to sit down, subway was also right outside. The breakfast was a variety of fresh pastries, cheeses, meats, bread and cakes as well as cereal, yoghurt and fruits. Fruit Juices and fresh coffees were also available and hand made by staff. Our stay was perfect, there wasn't a kettle in the room which would have been great, but with subway being next door we could easily go and purchase hot drinks when needed. We would definitely return :)

Nothing that we didn't like, only that a kettle/ tea and coffee facilities in the room would have made our stay perfect.

The location was superb. I got a room at the front of the hotel and could easily see the Tower from my room. The room itself was tasteful, clean, comfortable and had HUGE windows! The staff were friendly tho not intrusive. The hotel was well placed for tourist activities, food (there was even a Subway next to the hotel....Italian Subways are deliciously different), supermarkets, museums......Seriously, I loved this place!

I didn't like that I had to come back. I'm British, so I did miss having a kettle in the room!

Location was great. Staff were excellent very helpful and friendly. Except for our last night. I was waiting to order a taxi and receptionist was checking in a Chinese man. He was finding it hard to communicate and was getting very angry with his new guest. I suppose I have to learn Chinese is one of the comments he made before starting to use Google translate. I did find this very rude and very uncomfortable. They do keep this very clean.

The worn carpets in reception and staircase. The doors to bedrooms either need changing or totally stripped down of their years of paint. No amount of paint will cover the dirt on them. The walls need plastering and new ceilings as these are just wooden lats spaced out badly with electrical wires coming through. The beds are so poor. The spring was starting to protrude and for the spring base what can I say. Just get rid of them and start with new. While doing so get rid of wardrobes they look like they came from a college dorm 50 years ago.

LOCATION was everything at this hotel! We couldn't have imagined it. It is in view of the leaning tower and so close to the city centre and other attractions if you want to explore the town a bit further. It is an older a bit 'aged' hotel but it has its charm for sure and I will book to stay here again next time I visit Pisa. It is only a 20 minute walk from the central train station to the hotel! The staff are very friendly and will help if needed anything.

Maybe a small fridge in the room and guest slippers...but we are were not fussed over those things at all, we spent the time out and about and so we didint fuss over it. The guys at the reception kindly kept our food items in the fridge over night when we asked, so not a big problem. Seemed a bit noisy the first night and thought it will be a problem due to the structure of the rooms, but it was only the first night so we were happy to stay in the room.

Hotel employees were wonderful. Helpful and friendly at a stressful time for us, as we were stuck in Pisa due to cancelled flights and the train strike. Location is excellent, two minutes walk to the Tower and in a small piazza with many restaurants nearby. The bathroom was clean with a good, modern shower. The bedding was clean and fresh. We had a nice view over Pisa rooftops. I would recommend this hotel and in particular the reception staff.

The location was perfect: nearby the tower and at night the street was very quite, because there aren't cars driving for the hotel. The room was ok: the bed was not to soft and the room was perfect of temperature. I have slept very well, because of all this, in this room, while mostly I don't sleep well in hotels. I didn't have breakfast. I went to a local bar, as all Italians do. The staff was very kind. E.g I had a very nice conversation with Ony. At last the hotel is not expensive. When I go to Pisa again - which is earlier than 20 years ;-) - I will go to this hotel.

When you are looking for a chique hotel this is not the hotel you are searching for. This is a simple hotel as you look to the carpet, walls etc. For me this is fine: in Pisa I am in the hotel to sleep and sometimes to read a book, which was also possible.

Wonderful location close to Pisa Tower. Friendly staff. We were kindly allowed to leave luggage before our checking time. We were lucky to get room with window to pizza tower - what a view. Rooms are decent size with stereotypical old Italian style (not sure if Italians live like that but this how we saw in the movies), modern bathroom and very useful thing - air conditioner :) Breakfast tasty and sufficient.

The location was fantastic with the leaning tower and adjacent attractions within literally a few minutes level walking distance. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Good shower and quite dark room, we had room 42 with the balcony view over the square and into the Leaning Tower. Nice to chill there soaking up the ambience. Air com unit worked very well and whilst quite itself the air flow/fan noise might be too noisy to leave on overnight for people. Good flow to the shower and heated up quickly. Staff looked after our luggage after checkout and also rang for a taxi to the airport. Taxis turned up within 10 mins for a 15 min drive to the airport departures drop off area, taxi cost €17.

Bathroom long and narrow and I found a little cramped (I’m 6’1”, 46” chest and broad shouldered) however didn’t spend much time in there. Carpets in the main entrance hall/lobby and stairs heavily worn.

Great place to stay in Pisa, near the tour and city center. The hotel has old but neat furniture, clean room, quiet(as requested) and cozy. Regarding breakfast: it is not very diverse, but is good: they had croissants, yogurts, fruits, cereals, coffee and tea. Helpful and friendly staff: they helped us by calling us a taxi to the airport. Greetings from Bucharest. ^__^

As a suggestion: to repair the shower so that the water does not flow around and to renew the quilts.
