Breathtaking view from 36th floor of the Empire State Building. Waiting time for the elevator was max. 5 min. during breakfast time (except for breakfast time, we waited no longer than 2 min.). Hotel is new, clean, very nice, quiet. The staff on front desk was extremely kind and helpful. Perfect location - subway just around the corner, whole food market 150 m from the hotel.

Breakfast is the pain of this hotel. Every morning extremely crowded, the staff did not keep up with cleaning the tables and refilling the food. Guests standing and waiting for everything - food, coffee, forks, knives, cups, plates... Seating area is not sufficient for such a big hotel.

The location was close to Penn Station, which was great. The reception staff were very helpful when we had to make a last-minute booking because our event ran late and we missed our train home. The room had beautiful views of the skyline. It was comfortable and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. However, it was very hard to sleep because the elevator was directly outside the room and we heard it beeping and opening and closing all night long.

The breakfast buffet was total chaos. I've never seen anything like it. There was no orderly check-in for breakfast and no line to enter the breakfast room. It was just pandemonium. People elbowed me out of the way and jumped in front of me to grab things. One woman actually stole my toast that I had just browned in the toaster - right in front of me! The food was also terrible. The eggs were dry, crumbling and overcooked. The bacon wasn't real bacon. There was no sausage or oatmeal. They were out of a lot of items. The orange juice was watered-down and tasted awful. This was a very disappointing experience and a terrible way to start the day.

I loved this hotel! The staff was super friendly, always there for us! The city view was 12/10, everyone asked me about this hotel! Good breakfast. The people who say there’s not many space or tables or complain about any lifts: its totally normal that there are many visitors on special times but there is ALWAYS any space! And we did NOT had to wait 20 minutes or something like that for a lift!!

only negative thing: beds were always cleaned but the floors were a bit dusty .. So would be great if you not only clean beds but also the floor. Room is a bit small but for that price it’s totally ok. You can stay there with 3 people if two share one bed.

The buffet breakfast was plentiful, varied and tasty, setting us up for the day of sightseeing ahead. The Chelsea location was great, we walked to the High Line and were close to the Subway, to get anywhere easily in the City.

The hotel needs more, or larger, lifts. Especially at breakfast & checking-out time. Out of our 7 mornings stay we had to use the stairs on 5 mornings!! Thank goodness we were only on the 13th floor and not staying any higher!!

The views from the hotel rooms are incredible!! We had read bad reviews about breakfast and the lift wait times but honestly we had no issues. There are two rooms now assigned for breakfast and even at busy times we were able to access the breakfast and seating. Lifts arrived quickly enough.

Rooms are small but that is typical in nyc. No proper wardrobe storage

Room was clean and comfy. location was great, you have the metro three minutes away and many amenities near by.

staff was very unfriendly. They made us wait up to two hours to check in and manager did not handle those who were upset in a good way, including myself. Find breakfast elsewhere because it was not eatable.

- only 4 elevators for the entire hotel! Long waiting times at busier times - the staff could be nicer - missed cleaning twice in a row - breakfast on weekdays could start 30 minutes earlier

I enjoyed my stay very much. I appreciated the design of the room - small but new and comfortable - and the quality of the finish. Comfortable bed with quality linen. Small bathroom but shower was big enough, quality towels changed daily. The view at 26th floor was stunning. Good quality breakfast from sausage, to fruit and juice, to coffee, and breakfast terrace at 2nd floor is very nice. Metro stations are easily accessible. Housekeeping was timely and precise. Thermal comfort in the room was also good and I barely needed the air-conditioning ...making the room even more silent. I am looking forward to come back for my next trip to NYC.

Price is not cheap, but for NYC I think this hotel is good value for money.

Poor breakfast, very rude lady at our checkout on tuesday morning. Other staff very helpful.

The room was very clean, stylish, and well-furnished. The bed was comfortable and the bedding felt fresh. Good lighting in the room. Great location at the heart of the Flatiron area. Close to bunch of shops on 5th avenue. Restaurant on site. Great value for the money. Would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to NYC!

The area outside the hotel entrance was not very clean. Could be better.
