We only stayed one night on our drive from Portugal to Santander. The hotel was very nice, and the staff were very friendly, although their understanding of English was limited. Dinner in the evening was excellent and very reasonably priced. For a brief stop-over the whole experience was very good. We were able to park outside the front of the hotel which was fortunate as space is limited.

The facilities in the bedroom and bathroom were limited and would have been difficult with a longer stay.

This was a comfortable place to stay whilst walking the Camino. The owner, Loli, was warm and accommodating on arrival. She also provided a glass of wine (or beer) on the house - a lovely touch. The bar and lounge areas were welcoming and comfy. The set dinner menu was good and we enjoyed a great evening with very good company. The bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. And there was a generous breakfast buffet.

We arrived Sunday morning and waited for an hour outside to check in. We tried to check in 10 minutes before, but we’re told to wait, which we understand. However, we wished they would have open the outdoor umbrellas to provide some shade while we waited in the hot sun. Not knowing the place and the customs it would have been helpful if they told us that everything would close early on Sunday or offered their restaurant services.

The food was overpriced for what you got and wi-fi was non existent on floor 2. The owner offered to keep the lights on for me downstairs so I could use the wi-fi there however for the price paid, wi-fi needs to be available in the room.

This was our first experience of a casa rural. The interior looked brand new with modern fittings and an elevator. The room and shower were spotless. The shower was the best we'd found in a week of travelling. It was powerful and worked well! The beds were spotless and very comfortable. The evening and morning staff were helpful. The bar was open until late into the evening. Breakfast on site from just after 8 am was early enough. We were allowed to park our bikes inside the grounds which afforded us reassurance and convenience. The location was great with only a short level walk into town where there were several restaurants and bars.

The roof in the room had a pitched angle with wooden beams that looked lovely, but (entirely our faults) we both hit our heads when getting up from the single chair available. There was limited natural light from the small window. There was limited storage available in the waist height wardrobe. We felt the breakfast had rather limited options for the €9.50 price.

No Air conditioning! I booked a room with air conditioning. Even though there was a control on the wall (didn’t work) there were no vents. I pointed this out to the staff and she said air comes up through the tile floor from below. I told her she cannot advertise air conditioning just because she has a ceramic tile floor. She ended up bringing me a huge fan which cooled the room very quickly! Overall it was great and I would stay there again!

Newer, spacious, clean room with comfortable beds, and a nice bathroom. Good breakfast available as well. Staff were very kind.

A little bit pricey for what we were looking for, but there was only a 4-person room available for the 2 of us. No laundry available.

A very welcoming and friendly hotel. The woman who took checked us in was exceptionally welcomeling and upbeat, she tended the bar and serve breakfast. The had a special locked room for our bicycles. Very clean and modern facility

It had everything a weary pilgrim needed - plenty of hot water, clean sheets, and a friendly staff. The lady that checked us in ensured that we had everything we needed. This was such a great place to relax and unwind. I highly recommend this place!!
