Perfectly clean hotel with duvets changed for each tenant. Very nice space in the rooms. A stone's throw from the memorial. The room cleaning staff are lovely. Perfect fitness room. Be aware that the money blocked at the time of booking is only refunded upon departure from the hotel and cannot be used to pay for it. This is definitely a deposit. Your credit card must be able to keep up. Thank you for everything. We will come back.

I liked that our stay included breakfast, discounted dinners, hop on-hop off tour, and bicycle access. Nearly everything was great!

I did not like that there is not nearly enough light in the bathroom to do hair and makeup. The bathroom lighting was VERY poor. I did not like that there is not a proper window covering. There was a see-through shade, but those across from us in another building could easily see through. There was no curtain to block the light from coming in during the early morning. I did not like that there was no microwave available for guests. The only one they had was not in working order. It would have been nice if the stay also included the tour out to the statue of liberty and Ellis Island.

The hotel was in a good location. We mostly used metro and the hotel was only few minutes walk from the station. Also only 2-3 minutes walk from 9/11. Very close to Wall Street and Brooklyn Bridge. The restaurant in the hotel was great. Hotel was very clean, staff were very welcoming and super friendly and helpful.

The restaurant staff was not as friendly as the hotel staff. Also the restaurant staff at night time are much much nicer and 100 times more friendly and welcoming than the morning staff.

I had the pleasure of staying at the New York Marriott Downtown during my recent trip to the city, and I must say it exceeded my expectations in many ways. The location is ideal, situated in the Financial District, with easy access to numerous iconic landmarks like One World Trade Center and the 9/11 Memorial. The room I stayed in was spacious, well-appointed, and offered a fantastic view of the city skyline. It was meticulously clean, and the comfortable bed ensured a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring the city. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional service provided by the hotel staff. They were friendly, accommodating, and always ready to assist with any questions or requests, making me feel truly valued as a guest. The hotel's on-site dining options were also top-notch. I particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast at the hotel restaurant, which offered a variety of choices to suit different tastes. Overall, my experience at the New York Marriott Downtown was fantastic. The combination of a prime location, comfortable accommodations, and outstanding service made my trip to New York City even more memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Lower Manhattan.

Convenient location. Many train stations nearby that travel to upper Manhattan and even to Brooklyn. Safe because near the World Trade Center. It’s also peaceful and quiet at night as it’s in the financial district. Nearby is Battery Park where you can see the Statue of Liberty without taking the ferry. Room is very spacious for a family of 4 with 2 teenage kids.

The double beds were a tad small and too soft for my liking.

I loved staying here! We had a gorgeous view of the Statue of Liberty. We were just a couple blocks from the freedom tower. Our room clean and comfy. Staff was friendly and helpful with directions. Can’t wait to come back! 10 out of 10

We travelled as family with a friend, and I picked this location due to its laidback environment - not chaotic like Times Square. The place is clean, rooms are clean and smelling fresh and it is so close to everything. Will be staying here again!

I like the part that they have everything ready and settled before the customer join the room, along with a line-up of amenities.

Since NY Marriott settles everything ready at this point, I am getting my overall rating to be more than positive. Maybe the air conditioning can be more flexible, but other than this everything is perfect. thanks much for handling me in my darkest time!
