First of all Bogy and his team were extremely helpful and friendly people. We really didn’t wanna leave as it was a perfect place to enjoy Zanzibar! The breakfast was great and totally sufficient, the rooms were very clean and the restaurant had really good food. It’s just 50 meter to the beach and other than nungwi or parts of kiwengwa there’s not so much hustle on the beach. The sunset was lovely and the beach offers some really cool bars and restaurants. We highly recommend Gadea Garden!

Peaceful, great room (tafadhali), great restaurant, plenty of cats, breakfast quality, staff well organised and professional, clean and beautifully decorated Combined with the general peace of jambiani this time of the year, it was the perfect retreat to rest and relax.

Materess is too soft to get a fully restorative night of sleep ( subjective opinion as other guests might like it this way) Food and beverage, despite their great quality, were quite expensive compared to the other local restaurants.

Not directed at the property but towards the whole island. Zanzibar is going through power cuts (6 hours per day). The hotel has bought a generator, so facilities in hotel okay, but there are times when the local restaurants, atms, etc are not accessible due to lack of electricity. This is something to consider when booking a holiday in Zanzibar.

The property is very quiet and beautiful. The owners were doing everything to make us comfortable. When we booked we didn’t know there was no AC in the room. We complained and were found another room with additional cost, facing the pool. There was then a AC issue which was sorted almost right away from the owner. The Italian restaurant serves good breakfast and good food. The beach is within 2 to 3 minutes walking distance

The shower in the new allocated room was very small. Nothing apart from that

We had an amazing stay at Gadea. The pool is fantastic!! The location is literally a few steps away from the beach. The restaurant with delicious Italian food. And the tours we booked to have BBQ on a private beach. Everything was clean. Wish we could have stayed longer

We travelled around the Zanzibar island and chose this hotel for our last two nights and it was the best hotel we stayed in. Everything is attention to detail. The room was perfect and the hotel itself is beautiful and cosy. Such a homely feeling. The owners are wonderful. Breakfast and food at the restaurant was amazing, beach is only 1 minute walk from the hotel. we really enjoyed our stay here and would most definitely stay here again.

Beautiful boutique guesthouse in jambiani. Perfect place to relax in gorgeous surrounding with excellent detail to ensure maximum comfort. Great restaurant and staff were incredibly nice and warm. The cats were an added bonus!

This is a true gem in Jambiani! A peaceful, small, boutique hotel with gorgeous gardens and just a few steps from the white sand beach 🏝️ And the restaurant serves the most delicious food! Grazie!

We were looking for a quiet place to rest after a long journey through Tanzania's northern region. We discovered it at Residence Gadea, where you simply don't miss enything. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and tastefully furnished. The staff is always very friendly. The pool is clean and well-maintained. The property's ambiance is lovely, allowing for a more intimate stay. Breakfast is included in the price and is varied, delicious, and plentiful. You can enjoy good Italian or local cuisine, good wine, and pleasant music in the restaurant. In short, we liked it so much that we stayed at Residence Gadea for a long time and will gladly return.
