They are truly pet friendly! no additional charges to bring along my pet dog. location is in quiet part of Manhattan where many office/bank buildings are, yet it is just a walking distance away to Fifth Avenue and Times Square. Chilled bottled drinking water on very floor, free common laundry washer and dryer on 3rd floor and free detergent too!

There is a major communication problem with front desk and house keeping. I requested for fresh towels twice during my 3-night stay, on the first day it took 1 hour after many text messages and phone calls, the second day it took 3 hours! Every time I checked, I was told that the towels were on the way, or that they have been delivered, and the operator still asked me what else I wanted when i was already so clear that I have been waiting for 3 hours (10am to 1pm) and the towels were still not delivered.

The property was very central. Very close to Grand Central Station. Safe to walk around. There was a lovely lounge on the top floor with a complimentary coffee machine as well as a water machone with still and sparkling water. I had a wonderful stay and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

There was nothing I did not like.

Location, location, location. I like that the registration is computerized, so everything was easy. On every floor there were free bottles of water. The staff were very nice and helpful.

First, they didn't clean my room the 1st day. No-one told me that I need to request cleaning by 10am each day, Secondly, the washing maching and dryer - the idea is wonderful. However, the machines are wash+dry in the same machine, so every time someone put their washing in the machine, it takes 3+ hours until the machine is available again. With a hotel of 350 rooms, 2 machines is way too little. It would make much more sense to have 2 additional dryers above the 2 washing machines.

The room was really nice, good amenities, great location close to Grand Central Station

I showed up an hour or two before check in time at 3pm and my room wasn't ready yet (which was fine, since I was early) so I left my bags and went out for a walk. The hotel noted in their system that I had already checked in so that (in theory) my room would be ready at 3pm when I got back. But when I got back I was told it still wasn't ready and I ended up having to wait around at the hotel until 4pm for my room, which was pretty annoying after a long day of travelling, especially given I was paying for the room from 3pm. They just seemed a bit busy and disorganised at reception.

Rooftop at 27th floor is pretty nice for breakfast or even work. Free coffe, tea and water is a nice plus! The hotel is not brand new, but it is well conserved and clean! It is very close to Grand Central Station, which is nice if you have to travel by train. Times Square is easily reached by 15-20 min walk. They do have a self check in system - at first sight you will probably need the help from the staff (and they were very helpfull in my case), but if you plan to stay there recurrently this is handy to save check in time. Same for check out.

There was no safe boxe in my room to store passport (still I had no problems with my beloggings). There were a systematic noise in my room during my first days of stay, that suddenly stopped so probably it was the guest from the floor above.

The staff was very welcoming, nice and helpful. The location was good (15min walk to Time Square, 5mins to GCS/metro) and overall a great value for the money. We liked the room cleaning on demand. The rooftop area with free coffee and tea is amazing and offers a great view of Grand Central Station and Chrysler Building. We picked up food to go and ate on the terrasse multiple times.

The furniture and facilities seem to be a little bit outdated, however everything is cleaned very well. There are no power sockets right next to the bed, which makes charging your mobile a tad problematic. The room (6th floor) was a little bit dark and we had to turn on the light even during the day, but that's just a minor thing and we knew to expect this from other reviews already.

The location was great. The hotel is basically across the street from Grand Central Station (and the Subway), and Times Square and 5th Ave were a few minutes away on foot. We also really appreciated the complimentary coffee/tea in the upstairs lounge area, as well as the water stations on each floor. There are lots of restaurants for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the area, as well as a pharmacy/convenience store. The room has a small sitting area which is great to work or just rest between outings. The room is a bit small, but the beds/pillows are very comfortable.

The room wasn't ready at check-in time (3:00 PM), which was slightly disappointing, especially after a long flight. We were able to leave our luggage with reception, though, and checked in later in the early evening. The twin beds were a bit short. We were fine, but tall people beware! Housekeeping will only come to the room if you ask for it, so make sure you ask for the trash to be taken/toilet paper replacements/etc.

Pet friendly hotel right aside the Grand Central Station entrance, with easy access to every thing! Express Coach to Newark Airport is located roughly 200 metres from the hotel.

Check-in and style of communication by the staff handled checked in was below mark. Our room was ready / available only at around 5.30pm instead of 3.00 pm. Staff who who was at check-in desk simply said that ‘I am not harbouring your room - we can only give you an estimate of when your room will be available. We were later given an option to use a lounge for waiting. We were offered some compensation for the delay too later.

The top-floor room with view over the Crysler building and Grand Central is wonderful! And complementary coffee and tea in that room is super! The fitness room is small but has enough dumbells and machines to do a quick training session. The laundry/dryer room is great too, especially when travelling with kids! The room and the bathroom are big enough.

The rooms are a bit outdated, the carpet was coming off in some corners and the kitchenette is old-looking. The shower curtain is really a no-go for me, upgrading to shower screens should be a priority!

The room was comfortable although on the small side. If you are a solo traveler this is fine. But if you are a couple then this may be a bit tight. The bathroom was lovely and that's a big deal for some people (like me).

You have a coffee table to work on rather than a real writing desk. Because the room was too small to fit a big desk. Anyway, for real work you can proceed to the lounge at the top floor and that is a great place to hang out in.
