Beds extremely comfortable, location wasn't too bad we walked to most things we wanted to do. Staff so attentive and friendly.

Balcony, not a balcony, paid extra for it, too. Our door wudn even open. Rooms smaller than expected for a king room. But only minor things.

It was so quiet! We heard nothing from anyone on the floor… no sneezes or toilet flushes through the wall . The bed was great, and the room was designed intelligently; with the bathroom as far away from the bed as possible. The shower had a rain-shower head AND detachable, and they both worked! The tiny Juliette balcony was just enough to soothe my claustrophobic tendencies, but not dining Al fresco. Plus, there was an actual view from the balcony. It’s just 47th Street, but I’ve paid more for a view of an air shaft or brick wall. Nice staff, great location. Best coffee maker I’ve ever encountered in a hotel room! Cappuccino-style, and actually tasted great, even for tea. No wait for the elevator. Best room service breakfast EVER! Delicious food delivered in less than 15 minutes, (unheard of, right?) with a smile! Expensive, but definitely worth it! Cheers to the restaurant next door!

Honestly, nothing!

The overall ambiance and the look of the building exterior / interior is very aesthetically appealing. You really get the new york manhattan experience. but what made us really happy about our stay was the staff, and how warm they were. they were able to quickly address our needs. with no hesitation and etc, they were very fast and very accommodating to all our requests. and i believe that was the best part of our stay besides the good location, the cleanliness of the room, and the completeness of the facilities. keep it up.

just wish they would add microwave inside the room, nonetheless - its perfect . also there’s a microwave in the concessionaire at the basement

My girlfriend and I were visiting New York City for my birthday weekend and I decided to choose The Bernic Hotel because of the spacious, comfortable rooms with private balconies. Unbeknownst to my girlfriend, I was planning to propose to her on the balcony of our room, and the wonderful staff at The Bernic Hotel, including Bethany, Britney and Kelsey went above and beyond to accommodate the special requests I made to ensure that the room was beautifully decorated for the occasion. All of the efforts by the staff at the hotel made our engagement all the more special. The hotel generously upgraded our accommodation to a king suite with a full size balcony for the occasion and the room did not disappoint. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. We were always welcomed when arriving or departing the hotel and the staff were always friendly and personable during interactions and every time we came back to the hotel it felt like we were returning home. We couldn’t recommend The Bernic Hotel enough and we will be staying here again for all future visits to New York City!

The restaurant is friendly and clean but expensive . The room was a smaller one than we have had in the past, perfectly adequate, exceptionally clean every day. We found the aircon noisy as the cold air goes up behind the curtain. Maintenance came immediately when asked to take a look at the machine but apparently this was normal for NY! The location is ideal for all transport and attractions.

It is not my first time in The Bernic hotel; I love the location. The staff is very nice and helpful all the time ! When we checked in (booked a room with balcony) the balcony did not meet our expectations, way too small, the curtains were stoked too (it was immediately fixed) but the staff moved us to a better room next day.

Unfortunately this time we could not join the roof terrace (under renovation), hopefully next visit we will be able to do so. We do understand though that it needs to be done from time to time, so not big deal but just a pity as we were not aware of it.

the room was not cleaned properly (we found someone else’s sock behind the bathroom door. the Nespresso coffee machine in the room looked like it could use a clean and the pods provided for it were not great (just cheap plastic ones). the shower had mould in the corners and was leaking into the rest of bathroom through a gap in the sealant.

a nice minimalist place to stay and close to many attractions. Friendly staff, we had a free upgrade to a cozy room with balcony and requested a late checkout which they accomodated. I loved the heating floor in the cr. I could literally stay there for hours.

the AC was a little bit noisy and although this is a 100% non smoking hotel not all the clients of the hotel respects it..the room near us did smoke at the balcony and we could literally smell it from our room even with closed balcony door because it was so adiacent
