Such a memorable weekend, the staff were so hospitable and always went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were beautifully furnished and beds plush and comfortable. We stayed in the junior suite which had ample space complimented by views of the lake and lots of natural sunlight. The hotel's curated grounds and gardens meant that we were able to enjoy the sounds of birds and nature - it had a truly tranquil feel. Included breakfast was just divine with lots of fresh options. There were many water activities available such across the road, and the ferry dock was a 2 min walk away. We wish we stayed longer and can't wait to return - thank you for hosting us!

Not the hotel's fault but it was hard to call a taxi here so we advise to plan ahead and use the ferry instead (2 mins walk)

The room was spacios and comfortable. Very clean.

It's a real perl between Como and Bellagio with all the facilities you need (lake view, parking, beach and pool in summer, rich breakfast, lovely stuff). The restaurant's menu in the hotel is fine, but not suitable for picky children

We were off season - end of October, so the lake showed us the misty side, rain all day long. Darkness, emptiness, no restaurants open (except Trattoria Pippi in Molina with a real suprise homemade food). If you think to have dinner in Bellagio think it twice, the road is long and tiring, even the alimentary shops to buy some food are at least in 20 minutes distance. Be prepared if you come here in autumn. The kitchenette in the room was anyway well equipped.

We had a wonderful stay with our daughter at Domus. I was so happy that I booked the suite, as everyone had plenty of space and we even enjoyed one home cooked meal. The restaurant in the glass house was a treat. We enjoyed two special dinners and breakfasts there. We couldn't thank Giada enough for her help and tips. The weather was not on our side and we had to cancel our boat ride, but she helped us with other itineraries during the day. This place is a gem. We can't wait to go back.

If you don't feel comfortable driving on narrow, twisty roads, you may want to consider a taxi. My husband enjoyed it - even as we were caught between rally drivers on the way to Bellagio! Also, the roads are so narrow that taking a walk is a challenge.

A nice and cosy place just by the lake. It is a good concept of a hotel service, but with spacious and nicely designed apartments, perfect when you travel with family or friends and want to stay together. Everyone from the hotel staff was professional and friendly and always genuinely smiling to us. We also appreciated the facilities - the small beach was cute and useful, also the pool was very nice. We very much enjoyed renting the boat from the water centre at the hotel. All very handy for guests. I will come back in the future.

The D restaurant is nice for breakfast, but in the evening it's lacking some good vibe and is often empty.

Beautiful stay at Domus Plinii. The appartement is very large and well equipped. But mostly the staff is wonderful and so kind and made our stay extra confortable without even us asking, for example they put a baby bath for our baby, such a nice attention ! this hotel is really family friendly! The restaurant and breakfast is very good as well. Little gem on the lake - far from the crowd of some place !

Beautiful and cosy hotel with 5-star staff on a fabulous location. Apartment was nicely decorated, fine dining restaurant on side, breakfast and bar great, fantastic pool, private parking and discount on water sports/boat rental. We had an issue with a mattress on our first night which they immediately came to replace. Overal we really appreciated the personable and outstanding service by both reception and restaurant.

If I had to mention anything, it’s an old building and could hear noises at times (fan, water running). Also, be prepared for some challenging maneuvering when driving an SUV, although this is the case all along the Como shoreline.

The little town of Faggeto Lario is a lovely out of the way place for experiencing Lake Como. The beaches are small, but nice, and the water sports and boating excursions allow you to experience Lake Como as far as you wish to go. Domus Plinii Suites is a great family or group hotel, as the suites fit your whole group spaciously. The showers and the kitchen are clean, the views are lovely, the staff is friendly. The beds were comfortable, the AC excellent. The breakfast in the garden was a very nice experience with enough variety and dishes of high quality.

You do need to be at breakfast early if you want to be certain of getting the hot foods. I'd prefer the coffee / tea to be self serve or at least quicker / easier to get when I want it, as I tend to be irritated while I am waiting for my morning coffee. Although to some extent this can be mitigated by having the first cup in the room, before breakfast.

Wonderful location, if you like to relax and stay close by on. If you don't have a car or transportation, it is quite difficult to get anywhere besides this location or the surrounding area. There is a free bus, but it is an uphill trek to get to and the buses are jammed packed. Private beach access across the street, with water sports available, too (also at the beach, along with license-free boats at the dock). Three nearby restaurants. Two more expensive (including the hotel restaurant) and one reasonably priced restaurant/bar just down the road/on the water. The hotel staff are extremely nice and accommodating, and the suites and breakfast is wonderful. A lovely place to stay.

Not accessible to transportation

The staff was nice and helpful and the hotel is in an excellent condition (e.g. garden and stylish rooms). The breakfast was good, however sometimes it took quite some time to refill/ not everything got refilled. We were thankful about the possibility to rent a boat nearby the hotel and the free parking.

Unfortunately on one day the bar and the restaurant were closed. Nobody had informed us about that before. The only staff person present this day was a nice lady from the cleaning department. Additionally the room service came this day past 3 PM.
