We really enjoyed being in the center of the city right in the plaza de Pilar. We could see the Cathedral from our large balcony windows. The city was quiet the location was unbeatable and the price for the room was super affordable. The staff treated us nicely and let us check in very early because we arrived on the early train at 6am. It was a central location and I would say that it is a really good option to consider. The city of course was excellent and provided so many options for food, fun, museums and shopping. My favorite was the Goya museum since he is one of my favorite artist and this is the city he was born in.

Our room shower did not drain that night we spent there so it was uncomfortable for me to take a shower since the water pooled at my feet. The staff however did give us another room key so that we could shower in. They solved the problem but it was just an unfortunate situation to deal with in the evening. Other than that it was all excellent.

Couldn’t fault the central location as a base for exploring the city. Amazing views across the lively plaza to El Pilar. Underground secure parking was available with access right next to the hotel entrance. Room was clean and comfortable with individual aircon. All the staff we met were very helpful.

The hotel showed it’s age in places but it is within one of the city’s oldest, landmark buildings!

The location is absolutely amazing! I wish that I had paid more and got a room at the front, looking out on to the cathedral. Next time! Fabulous bathroom, and enormous bed. The pillows were wonderful. Breakfast was very nice, and the staff kind and helpful.

The aircon was a bit aggressive - too hot without it on, and too cold when it was. But very minor.

There couldn't be a better location, right in front of the Basilica, and few meters away from all the old town and main streets. Rooms and all common areas are also totally fine. It could not be better for the price. So yes I would repeat.

Nothing that I would mention. Maybe heating a bit too high, but can also be regulated (found after the 1st night).

Between Barcelona and Madrid, we decided to stay in this town. Our expectation was a sleepy little town. Boy was I wrong. It is a hustling and bustling place! The hotel was located right in the middle of the square facing the huge church in the old town. With open window, so much noise, but the sound insulation was very good, and we had no problem with the noise when we didn't want to hear it. Comfy bed, comfy bathroom, friendly staff. No complaints.

I wish the old town is closer to the train station...nothing anyone can do about it. We decided to walk for about 40 min. Looked like the public transportation took about the same amount of time. Didn't know how to use taxi/uber alternative.

There was some high volume music because of some special events in the central square in the morning..however in a normal day it must be really quiet..highly recommended

Excellent situation to explore everywhere on foot. Brilliant view over the Basilica definitely worth the extra cost. Reception staff excellent, also the housekeepers.

All the room fittings pretty ancient, the air conditioner especially was on borrowed time. Room rather cramped. But having said that it was much as expected for the price in the excellent situation. Parking cost was significantly reduced by the hotel but the arrangements demand a certain level of physical fitness..

The location was excellent, the room was comfortable and the personnel was very friendly. The cathedral was in front of the hotel. We stayed in a room with a balcony and it was worth it. We would definitely stay again; we are in love with Zaragoza.

There was no negative thing that we could say about our stay. Everything was awesome.

The reception staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had a trip planned to the Aljaferia Palace which would have been unsuccessful without the help of Victoria who pointed out that it needed to be booked in advance. She made the booking for us and obtained the appropriate Senior's discount. The other staff were also very helpful with parking issues and when the room TV went off-line the young man on the desk fixed it instantly. The same applies to the breakfast staff and room cleaner, a great team who added value to our stay. A terrific breakfast spread which set you up for the day. For location and value I don't think you could choose a better hotel.

Sadly the only issue that stopped me awarding a 10 was the shower unit in the en-suite bathroom was 'suffering' from a significant amount of black mould, the multifunction spray facility was inoperative/broken and the door rollers were worn, misaligned and stiff to operate and failed to fully close the screen doors.

Great hotel, very nice in a great location - just in front of the Cathedral El Pilar, which is beatifully illuminated at night. Very nice hospitality of the staff and a great help!! Thanks!! Very good breakfast with a variety of dishes. Be aware about parking, which is just below the Plaza in which the hotel resides, Please wait for E-mail of directions to the Parking, in which you can get a large discount as a hotel guest. If not received - just ask the reception for directions.
