Good continental breakfast, comfy bed, big bathroom, excellent position near the Opera.

Although we have not reserved the cheapest room, when we have checked-in, we have received a small dark room with the only window facing just the elevator. However, the front desk accepted immediately to change our room after complaining and we received another room on the third floor, with big windows and a nice view. We have appreciated the resolving attitude.

Very comfortable hotel room, very helpful staff, excellent breakfast. Great location. This was the third time we've stayed at this hotel and would happily return again. It is close to everything, and great value for the price.

After we checked in, there was an issue with the elevator not working consistently but it got rectified in a fairly short time, so I can't fault the hotel for that.

Hotel Secession - just along from same named exhibition gallery and nachmarket in excellent location to explore city centre shops of all sorts. Close to transport links with cafes, restaurants, markets, museums all easily reachable by foot. Staff were all very polite and responsive, breakfast team, receptionists and house staff all excellent, helpful and respectful team here. Unassuming professional quality set up here with everything you need for breakfast with quiet and comfortable rooms. Nice gift for birthday (provided with local sparkling wine gift was delicious ). Small hotel well run team doing what it does really well and quietly going about their business. What's not to like!!

The location to the centre was perfect, it was clean & tidy (I can’t comment on breakfast as we didn’t use it due to price)

Rooms were dated and mine was located next to residents in a courtyard type situation where it was loud a couple of nights due to them drinking etc, unfortunately I reported a issue with the shower where the water wouldn’t drain quick enough and flooded the bathroom (worse than the photo) I reported it yet stayed the same and wasn’t fixed during my stay and finally we all thought the underground parking for €28 per day was excessive

It’s location was great! Whether that’s transportation (access to the hotel), sightseeing, places to eat, shopping or anything else you’d like to do in Vienna, you can. And, most importantly the staff were friendly and attentive.

It’s not so much I didn’t like, but something that could improve and maybe this is not true to each and every room, but some facilities. For example; the shower would leak at night, there was quite a bit of light coming from under the door into the room and the kettle, the kettle required a few good attempts to get it to work. Lastly, maybe the use of air freshener or some sort. When you initially walk into the room, especially the bathroom, there’s an unpleasant smell.

A very cute hotel, with exceptionally kind, helpful & friendly staff, Our Check in was fast & easy, Our room was cute and more than perfect with a bag of home made cookies waiting for us. The lift could only be accessed with the room key card which is a good idea for safety reasons.

The room was a bit cold/chilly even though the heater was on, we asked the staff about it, and cranked up the heater but it was still cold. thats all otherwise perfect

Central location near to the metro station and able to walk to lots of the attractions we wanted to visit. Area around the hotel felt very safe and we were warmly welcomed by the staff. Our room was large and very comfortable bed. Bathroom was well equipped and spacious. Nice to have tea and coffee making facilities, small fridge and a bottle of water each day which was lovely. Had one drink from the bar which was a similar price to places locally. All in all I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Lots of bakeries and shops nearby as well.

Location is very close to Naschmarkt and walking distance to other tourist spots like Vienna Opera, St. Stephen’s Cathedral amongst others and the property is accessible to the metro. The room we had was spacious and homey-feel. The toilet is spotless and rooms are cleaned thoroughly. We were in Vienna in August and it was hot but the AC in our room was in in perfect condition to cool us down. There is also a courtyard to sit and drink to wrap up the day. Value for money compared to other hotels located nearby. Staffs are accommodating and friendly. I will definitely coming back to this property.

We had initially booked a different hotel in Vienna that ended up not being at it's listed address + the room still unprepared / uncleaned at check in time. We rebooked with Hotel Secession instead & they accommodated us so well with a last minute booking! Incredibly friendly staff that gave us lots of recommendations on what to do and see in Vienna. They also worked hard to accomodate us when we wanted to extend our stay by 2 nights, even with limited availabilities. Room was spacious, beds were comfy, and the kitchenette was perfect for cooking quick meals and boiling water. Will definitely stay here again if ever back in Austria!

The location is more than perfect. Quiet for sleeping but close to everything. I really liked the breakfast, if you only stay 2 or 3 nights it has enough options in my opinion. Decent coffee from the machine. I liked the room too- luminous and with enough space to open a suitcase or roll out a yoga mat.

The common spaces like lobby are not the best if you need to do some remote working, but I guess you have lots of coffe houses around for that. Bare in mind that entrance for the hotel parking is very narrow!
