Location is fantastic. Right at the heart of Madrid's center where everything is there! Very homey, so it felt like staying at a friend's place. I'm surprised how clean and comfortable the room is & it's quite spacious. And even though it's in the middle of the hustle & bustle, the room has good soundproofing. Staff is very friendly.

Entrance is a little bit hard to find because it's a small gate/door into an old residential building in between commercial shops on the ground. Don't expect anything fancy but I would still recommend it.

We were met at the reception very friendly. We checked in immediately upon arrival - the room was already cleaned, although there were 2 hours left before check-in. At our request, Maria gave us an extra blanket, she was very attentive to our requests. The silence in the room, the balcony and heating create a feeling of comfort. Excellent hostel!!!! The location is super.

Everything was fine

Everything. Location was 200 m from Puerta del Sol wich is km 0 of Madrid, no tourist objective was further than 15 min walk. They had elevator (the hotel is on the 4th floor), good a/c, 24 hour reception, daily cleaning, good double glazing not to hear the noises from a busy street. Plenty of restaurants/cafes/tapas bars around, much cheaper food and drink compared to the other big capitals in Europe. The only fault, if you needed one, is the lack of a fridge.

Nothing

The location is excellent. Near Sol Metro, lots of restaurants, stores like El Corte Inglés, several “cafes” nearby for breakfast specially La Mallorquina, several attractions nearby. The perfection location allowed us to visit many attractions “walking”. I would stay again in this hostal.

We did not know where the noise, sometimes, was coming from.

The rooms are very clean and nicely furnished. The location in the city center is perfect: many shops, restaurants and clubs are very close.

The street was very noisy, especially during the Saturday night... The bed was a bit narrow for two persons, but the mattress was comfortable.

Smple interior room on the 4th floor with elevetor, both bathroom and room are spotless. Although the hotel is in a street right next to The Sol Place full of restaurants and bars, it faces and inerior patio, so no view but neither noise. We slept very well. It's May but quite hot (28°C) the AC worked very well. It is a very spartan room but for the money it's worth. The location couldn't be better, in the center of Madrid next to all the views, restaurants, bars and shops.

There was some noise early in the morning due to other guests when they eere leaving snd screaming to each other. Obviously it's not the hotel's fault.

The room was clean at check in, the room itself looked neat. Looked like the nicest and cheapest room, after traveling all the way across Spain. The wifi worked fine. Had all the necessary bathroom amenities and hairdryer, normal air conditioning. The location is good. Our room was very quiet despite the fact that there were lots of cafes and bars around and noisy streets.

No cleaning service during all 4 nights. There was no safe in the room and not even simple glasses. The TV worked, but only a couple of channels. On the last night a huge bug or cockroach ran into our room.

Great location, close to everything important. Room was small but clean, Bathroom was a bit crowded but very clean and it had toilet paper, soap, clean towels, everything needed.

The view from my room was to a very small interior courtyard, but i've seen that elsewhere in Madrid. Didn't bother me much.

Location was great, walking distance from all the main attractions and overall nice area with lots of restaurants/bars! Room recently renovated and comfortable

Unfortunately there were some construction works going on in the building (right next to our door) that started very early every morning...

Easy exes

We was given a room on the 5th floor where it seems construction still going on but we stayed for a nights so was fine! They is a problem with the shower,ones you having a shower water starts coming out of the shower tray ,water flows till the room !?
