Staff were very nice and couldnt do enough for you. Food was also excellent. Stayed in apartment 17 and room was lovely and great view. Parking very good. Definatly want to go back in the summer.

The double bed was 2 singles together which isnt usually a problem but when the beds are different heights can be very uncomfortable. The food we had was great but due to delivery problems the menu was very limited. Apartment was lovely and clean but the balcony had lots of fag butts on the floor outside. Was very cold as heating only went half on and no spare blankets to use but due to being there only 1 night we put up with it.

A really lovely hotel, in a great location in the centre of the village. Really dog friendly, polite and helpful staff and great food. The room was a good size and had a lovely view.

Only a few minor points…. felt the £10 per dog, per night charge was expensive, given that no extras are provided - appreciate some extra cleaning may be needed but charging double for two dogs AND per night is excessive. The hotel in fairness were transparent with this cost, which I knew before booking so it wasn’t an issue, just a niggle. The only other downside is the lack of parking at the hotel - there are just two spaces opposite. Was great to see the hotel now offer a Gwynedd parking pass which I think costs just £5 per day so pretty good value!

Reception service exceptional, I believe it was Adam who looked after us on arrival. Breakfast I had full English which was lovely. In the evening we had the steak offer which included a glass of wine - meal was slightly cook whenn it arrived however flavour of the steak made up for it.

Car parking was hit and miss - we parked down the road side overnight but always worried about getting a parking ticket as the 2 parking spaces for hotel guests were full - would have been great had the hotel allowed us to use the parking for the apartments above the hotel which I believe are part of the same complex as they were fairly empty.

Location is fantastic; views of the sea from windows and terrace. Great range of food from pub. Continental and full English breakfasts available and staff very accommodating and flexible on arrangements. Upstairs; large bedroom, fantastic sea views and huge bathroom. Downstairs; 2 sofa beds and sofa with tv. Dining area and fridge. Apartment was clean on arrival, towels provided, cups, glasses and tea/ coffee. Very easy check in/ check out process available online or in pub. Despite being on the main road, it is quiet at night although there is the expected busy traffic and people passing during the day and noise from the pub. Location excellent for Aberdovey and beyond. Terrace delightful to sit out in sun until late evening and pub also has outdoor seating for food.

Accessibility needs consideration if you have mobility issues as many slate steps to the apartment and from parking area but well lit. Staff do pass across the terrace behind the apartment to access building.

We had one of the apartments at the rear of the property which came with parking that was nice but if your staying in the hotel there is a car park only 50 metres up the road. Our apartment was nice and large with patio doors to outside table and chairs, large bathroom with shower and bath. The bed was a good superking size which was nice , tea and coffee and a little fridge for milk. I would definitely stay here again and would also advise friends and family to give it a go. Sitting in the beer garden out the front of the hotel with a beer in the sun was very much enjoyed.

Nothing really.

Lovely view out of window. Nice to wake up and watch the sea from your bed. Room was comfortable.

There was a strange smell coming from outside when the window was open…….could have been from the open bar door directly below. The street light was very bright outside the window which the curtains didn’t cut out that well. Couldn’t work out how to get the heavy duty blinds down. Breakfast cereal selection could have included yogurts and more muesli type cereals and better selection of fruit.

Room was very comfortable with lovely view of the estuary.

There was someone staying wit dogs in the hotel which were disturbed during the night and barked for 30 minutes which kept me awake. We were quite a way from the room where the dogs were so I feel sorry for those that were closer. I think the Hotel should review how they let out rooms to people with dogs. Also I wouldn't want t stop in a room that had previously had dogs in it

Breakfast was good. Plenty of choice served with a smile. Dinner menu was varied. Stayed 4 nights & was able to select a different main each time. We had a room with a lovely view across the estuary.

There were only a few parking spots at hotel, however were able to find a space on the road near hotel. The hotel is an old building which was in need of some attention Eg some loose guttering. The decor inside was generally in good repair.

Beautiful sea view! There was a patio door which opened if you wanted to sit outside and look at the view. Plenty of parking spaces for the suite rooms. We had a space right outside the window. Spacious bedroom with double bed and sofa bed for the kids and super large bathroom with bath and shower and lovely staff. Breakfast was great portions and reasonable priced. Would stay again.

Nothing it’s was perfect for us. however the were a lot of steps up to the room so might not be suitable for anyone that would struggle with steps

Our room exceeded our high expectations, a really nice room at the far end of the property with a great view and comfy beds. When we arrived we asked if we could alter our dinner arrangement for that evening and everything was all taken care of, even moving us from the bar to the dining room was no trouble for the staff. I must say all the staff make this place a wonderful place to stay. Lastly, but by no means least, we had a really fab full cooked breakfast the next day. Highly recommended place to stay and enjoy this part of the coast of Wales

There are only a few car spaces opposite the pub, but this is what you expect in this type of place in Wales
