The hotel location was great. A walking distance to all attractions. The rooms were nice and clean.

The rooms were very expensive. $500.00 per night. This did not include taxes. End it up paying $1,900.00 for 3 nights stay! Plus there was only one elevator working from the 3rd floor to the 18th floor. It was always busy and had to wait for line to get on. There were two other elevators from the 19th floor and up, but never crowded. I wonder why???

The location was amazing

The fact that you had to pay 100$ deposit for each night you are staying, coming from booking it’s a big surprise since when you are making the reservation it does not specify it anywhere

Great location, two blocks from broadway and across from Carnegie Hall.

The photos led us to believe the rooms were spectacular and high standard. They were nice in person but felt slightly underwhelmed as I thought the first impression of the hotel would continue on but the rooms, but not so much. We still had a lovely stay, the staff were helpful and apart from the upgrades to the lifts meaning there was a bit of a wait/crowded lifts, there wasn’t much to complain about. I enjoyed my stay, just felt price was a bit steep. Again, this isn’t so much the hotels fault, but you could hear a lot of street noise throughout the night. So I assume the higher the floor the less you’ll hear? We were on the 9th tbf and got woken up every night. Not the hotels fault but worth factoring in for the location.

Location is excellent, room a bit dark but decent size and comfortable

We were prepared to wait for the lift after reading so many reviews about it. In the morning we went down through the staircase to avoid lift jam. But on the last day, with all of our luggages, one of the only two lifts was broken. No sign posted notifying guests, and seems like this is a regular occurrence. Having one lift servicing whole big hotel is sub-standard. Understood that there’s a major lift upgrading ongoing. I think the hotel should have a response and back-up plan in case of any lift break down. This would be critical for medical emergency or guests rushing to catch flight/train.

This was a return visit to the hotel due to us really appreciating its location to all of the hot spots and famous landmarks, which meant everything we did was on foot which was a big desire of ours. The hotel rooms are very spacious and clean with huge windows overlooking the strip towards town square which is magical and perfect to sustain that pinch me moment we are in NYC. Staff we very attentive and happy to assist with anything to ensure you have the best experience. Coffee shop inside the hotel is ideal and provides warm pastries with fresh coffee to kick start your day perfectly. On return to the hotel in the evening there is a bar area which is a very relaxing space to unwind with live music and hosts amazing food. Being literally steps away from central park to the left and times square to the right this is ideal for both anyone who is new to experience new york and feel so safe, relaxed and comfortable, but also for the return guests as NYC makes me feel like home from home when I stay here.

There was only 1 thing that let the hotel down slightly, but i feel it wouldn't put me off booking again, which was waiting for the lifts was a drag. 1 of them was out of order with having maintenance work done to it. This meant there was a Que when u wanted to come down from your room and back up to your room. Great to know if this is the case as u can then plan with this in mind, but if u have a schedule you need to meet and don't know about the 20 min it takes to get up and down from your room this could cause problems. We were compensated for this and had our taxes from our bill refunded as a gesture of goodwill when they saw me carry my case down the stairs due to giving up waiting.

The room was large and comfortable. Nice bathroom and toiletries. It was next to my destination, Carnegie Hall.

Check-in was at 4pm. I stood at the sign that said Wait for the next available person to check in. I was the only one in line and there were 2 staff at the ready but neither of them would meet my eye. I finally walked up to one. He stared at his phone until I said Excuse me. There was no signage for additional elevators. The signage to my room was inaccurate, then my room key didn't work. I felt very unwelcome.

The location was fantastic and the entrance/lobby was great. The house keeping and cleanliness of the rooms was good.

The room we had was very dated and had a strange musty smell, the lifts just a joke for such a big hotel, the desk staff not too friendly or welcoming. The cost of our stay, rooms very basic, no coffee or tea making facilities. Booking. Com never advertised we had to leave a $700 deposit on our arrival which was a surprise when we checked in. This was refunded when we departed but what if you do not have that facility on a card.

Very clean hotel with a fair price. The location is great and within walking distance to many famous areas, including Central Park, Broadway and Times Square.

The hotel does not have own parking garage and offers an external parking garage a couple of blocks away, which is inconvenient if you need to access your car during your staying. Additionally, if you exceed your nightly parking time by even one hour, this garage overcharges you for two full nights. For example, I parked for approx 25 hours and was charged for two days. Moreover, the hotel staff is not very helpful when it comes to pulling over or assisting with your car during arrival and departure.

Excellent location, close to many attractions especially our main purpose for coming to NYC—Carnegie Hall. Everything was within walking distance….Central Park, Broadway shows, restaurants,….

The hotel needs to seriously address the elevator issue. (Our friends, who had stayed b4, warned us.)Thankfully we were only on the 6th floor, which allowed us to use stairs, but had we been higher—forget about it! Also, not much to offer guests refreshments/entertainment at night.

Stayed in a double room on the 5th floor as a young family of four and it was very good. As we were on a budget I was worried about lots of hotel tipping pressure, and having read other reviews, the lifts and general cleaniness also but it was all very acceptable or really good. It's NYC so is a little noisy but as expected. We brought a travel kettle and porridge etc to eat in the hotel to save a little money and it worked well. Very short walk to times square, broadway and central park.

Listening to 2 bar men argue about tip allocation. It's a tiny bit tired in places but I would still recommend the hotel.
