Among the 30-40 accommodation I've tried in Lisbon, this guesthouse is definitely one of the bests facility wise. Despite worn-out exterior appearance and a small staircase to the reception, the rooms are neatly renovated and all the staff essential for the stay is available. The lady in this hotel is very attentive, and the cleaning girl (Patricia) is really professional. The area around the hotel is full of cafes and restaurants with affordable prices. I could still find Old good Lisbon here. Access from metro stations (Anjos or Intendente, both Green Line) is very easy and no slope or stairs.

A small heating in the bathroom would make the room perfect, even for winter.

The entrance is not safe. It’s always open and anybody can access the hotel.

I loved the property, it is clean, the room is small but it is enough because you just need it for sleep. Location is great, so close to the city center, everything you need is close - great pastry shop just next to the hotel, there is Lidl and supermarket close, nice restaurants also. The toilet is brand new, hot water all the time, the change the towells everyday, the value for money is AMAZING. Literally everything you have to see in Lisbon is close to this location, airport, train station, city center on foot and also by taxi.

It can be a little bit loud outside on the weekend, so if you are a light sleeper just get some ear plugs and that will do the job

The location of Estrela dos Anjos is perfect. It's between two metro station each one at walking distance and very close. The area is full of restaurants and supermarkets of all kinds. The room was small but has everything we need and the sheets and towels were changed every day and room was cleaned daily also. Keep in mind that is a budget accommodation and for this category is more than ok. We definitely considering choosing again this location for our next trip to Lisbon.

We don't have any major complaints, like I said before it's a budget guest house so the expectations should be as such. But even so worth the money we paid. I recommend Estrela dos Anjos for everyone who is more interested in visiting Lisabona and the surroundings then spend more time in the room.

Great location - 15-20 min walk from historic center. Nice neighborhood, a sweet cafe for breakfast just in the same house. A few restaurants in front of the hotel. Very nice personnel, ready to check us in at 3am because of a delayed flight. Small room but for the price very good. A renovated bathroom. Wifi working. Great value for money in Lisbon center!

The hotel is very close to the metro stations that take you to the center of the city. It is extremely affordable. The staff was friendly and we had daily room cleaning service. The beds are comfortable and there was A/C for heating. It is definitely the perfect choice if you just need a place to sleep while in Lisbon.

The neighborhood seems a bit sketchy. Also, the hotel is very outdated. Everything is very old and the premises have a faint chlorine smell.

Location and price were great. Heat/AC worked well. Bathroom was good including a large shower with hot water. Nice window in the room

The bathroom door was tough to slide open and shut. With 3 beds and 3 people it was a tight fit. There isn't a kitchen to store items in or cook but they don't advertise there is either.

i would recommend this hotel 100% good central location very friendly hosts the hotel was absolutely spotless and a credit to the owners i would not hesitate to recommend or book this hotel next time im in lisbon i just wish i was there longer thank you so much for a brilliant stay

How close it was to the city, and Lidl

The hectic style 😅 It would have seem a looot more top-notch if there were no green wallpapers, blue lamps along with grey and white which are always super neat. Also, that the staff asked me to pay the city tax in cash, while it was possible to do it by card - which I did in the end. Small suggestion: bathroom has NO wall hangers whatsoever, and these are necessary, even for the towels.. We had to keep ourselves folded on the shower door.

Very convenient location. Clean and comfy bedroom. Staff pleasant and helpful. late check-in and then 12 noon checkout and luggage storage were much appreciated. Adjacent snack bar was ideal for breakfast.

We had a problem with the toilet getting blocked but probably down to the old age of the plumbing in the neighbourhood. staff responded when we reported it. some street noise was unavoidable but didn’t really impact our stay. No significant issues with this property.
