It was exceptionally clean, basic but comfortable, exceptional ensuite with brilliant shower, toilet and lovely new bed! The landlady Michaela was extremely helpful, friendly and supportive, the only reason I was on the island was to help my mother through hospitalisation and repatriation as she was taken ill on holiday! The guest house had many friendly people staying there and it was a pleasure to get to know them. Obviously this place was very popular for walkers and surfers! Also, there was a really nice restaurant down by the sea that did lovely meals at good prices!

A comfortable chair and maybe a small table would have been lovely in the room, there was enough space for this.

It was almost empty, felt like in a corented house, not as in a hostel. Highest rating because of this. In this case it's a very good value for the money. Everything is very clean. There are big lockers in the room. Street isn't noisy, had window open, fresh air made my sleep great. Also I liked that there is a washing machine, I used it, and it has a good spin. My clothes dried completely overnight indoors. There is plenty of parking around.

Maybe only a frying pan that I used, food sticks to it. It wasn't a problem for me, but the room could be improved with curtains on beds to hide from the light, with personal small light at the bed (not to disturb others with the main light if they sleep), with a small shelf at the bed to put headphones or anything else.

The room was nice. It was quite arty in design. The place had all the facilities you would expect, bar a T.V. But everyone was friendly, so they were my T.V. Great quite and safe location, right in Surf town, beside the sea, with 2 nice restaurants near by with great sea views.

The after 3 check-in is quite late, but not the worst, they were good and relaxed with checkout times. No real bus's leave the place. There is a bus stop, but no bus stop number or timetable, to be found. The main town is about a 30 minute walk, or 3K away.

I was warmly welcomed by Michaela and her family who own the hostel. She is super dedicated and helpful concerning getting to know the area and was also offering lifts since I was travelling without a car. The rooms and bathrooms were basic but fine and the small kitchen offered everything you need and created a family environment since there was always somebody around to have a chat:) Also there are some small supermarkets within walking distance and buses run several times a day to Vecindario. The breakfast offered was simple, but definitely a nice gesture.

The area is great for windsurfing(worldcup location) but besides that there is not much to do since the beaches nearby are stony and the surrounding is mostly used for agriculture. The road contiguous to the hostel was relatively busy for such a small place, even at night.

Bathrooms/showers were impeccably clean, as was the kitchen. Hosts were very hospitable and helpful. Beds were comfortable. It felt more like a home than a hostel. Be prepared to get a taxi or walk 30+ minutes from the nearest bus stop if you don't arrive by car, but once you're there it's a cozy little town away from the noise and tourism of the south. There's even a simple breakfast (oats and biscuits with milk + coffee/tea) included in the price.

The hangout area is either the kitchen or two homemade benches out in front of the house on the street. No big deal, but there's great potential if it's possible to expand with a terrace upstairs. Until then, you should head to the nearest beach :)

First of all the owner and his family (when the owner isn't there) is VERY kind and available for any of your needs. I met lot of people there in the hostel which is very nice if you are looking for a cheap accommodation and at the same time a place where you can socialise with ohter people from around the world. Definitely loved my stay and will return for sure.

The place is very nice. It is super clean (rooms, bathroom and kitchen), staff is very friendly and talkative willing to explain everything. Comfortable beds and a superb breakfast included. I spent an hour working in the kitchen.

Just to say something I would have liked a small chair in the room or something to be able to drop my stuff instead of on the floor or inside the wardrobe. But there was nobody else in the room so I could hang stuff from the bunk bed.

Great experience and nice people living there. It's cozy and clean and the coffee ready every morning feels just amazing :) Really feels like home! To mention though, it really depends on what you are searching for. If you need a calm place that is a bit far from civilization and not much to do, then you are at the right spot and you will really enjoy these vibes. If you are searching for something else and/or don't have a car, then it might feel different as a place is a bit difficult to be reached without own transport and the connection is not good. All in all, everything turned out to be perfect for me and I would like to be back! Thank you, Michela and the family!
