Location is great - lots of restaurants, cafes in the area. You will have a great range of places to eat/drink, some places 1 min walk, others a 5 min walk. Some mini marts also around the area. There are some great crepe and icecream/frozen yoghurt places. Lots of mopeds/scooter available for rent. The actual hotel is relaxing, you can spend the whole day there. Feels like a home away from home. The reception, restaurant and all hotel staff are lovely. They went above and beyond to learn our names, they were quick to send up towels or fix our drain and helped when we were organising transport to the airport. The pool is fantastic (there are 2) and there is a cafe/bar next to each pool. Pools are clean and spacious with many sun loungers and seating areas. There is a shallow children's pool as well. The adult pool gradually gets deeper. Breakfast had a decent range, not the best buffet ever but reasonable. Room service is for a reasonable price and delicious. Coffee and drinks at the coffee house on site are nice. Our hotel room had a balcony which was nice. Ac in the room was good and wifi was also very good. Beds were comfortable and shower was great. Happy Holiday ' was spelled out with flowers on our bed upon arrival. We are planning to come back! We had the best stay. Highly recommend.

Related to Lombok - local taxi drivers will try to rip you off. If you know how to negotiate you can get a reasonable price. Grab is also available. If you head to the beaches, there will be numerous street vendors hassling you to buy scarves, tshirts, purses, coconuts and trying to rent you scooters and cars. They are pretty persistent. We only had very minor issues in the hotel room; the drains were blocked and there was one dirty towel but both were fixed and replaced right away once we called reception. The room was a bit small. I recommend that Sima Hotel change the shampoo or add conditioner. I bought my own conditioner as the shampoo was very harsh on my hair.

The two swimming pools are fantastic. The room was big and very nice with a balcony. The bed was very confy. Breakfast was buffet and there were so many choices. I really enjoyed it. Location was great. Very close to many restaurants and stores. Staff was friendly . I had a balines massage and the girl was very professional and she new how to do it. You also get 10 extra minutes for free.

It’s a very small detail and it could be me. The music at the restaurant during breakfast was a little too loud. Early in the morning it’s better no to have music. The same at the swimming pools. They play music too loud and more for a party rather than for a relaxing place.

One of the best things the Sima Hotel has to offer is its location. It is right in the middle of the action but when you walk into the hotel its a little haven in the middle of Kuta. The grounds are beautifully kept, the staff is absolutely lovely and accommodating, and the back pool offers a more quiet and chill vibe. The breakfast is decent and has plenty to offer all palates. The water machines on each floor are very handy. My spa experience was excellent, just make sure to request male or female, if that is important to you. We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay.

We had a minor issue with our door handle but the staff helped us get it resolved as soon as they were able to figure out the problem. Otherwise no complaints!

The hotel staff demonstrated excellent customer service and attentiveness to guests' needs. When I was bothered by construction noise on the first morning, the manager promptly addressed the issue by moving me to a nice and quiet room. This level of care was greatly appreciated. Breakfast: The breakfast offerings were very good, with many options available to suit different tastes. Facilities: The hotel facilities were good and well-maintained. Cleanliness: The hotel maintained a high standard of cleanliness throughout. Location: Top notch.

WiFi issues: Unfortunately, the WiFi was not functioning properly during my entire 3-day stay. Despite the staff's efforts and even bringing in an IT specialist, the problem persisted. I would recommend Sima to others, but I strongly urge the management to resolve the WiFi problem in the new building.

I'm going to tell you, having traveled a lot around the world, I have to admit that we fell in love with this hotel. Incredibly friendly and attentive staff, the hotel is very clean, the location cannot be better in Kuta, the breakfast is just 5 stars. And if you want a romantic dinner then you are going to have a 2nd honeymoon. I would particularly like to thank Lisa Narasima who conquered our hearts with her gentleness and kindness. Full of happiness for the birth of her baby. Omar and Malika

Just a 1 night stopover between Sumbawa and Bali. Staff were nice, helpful and checkin was efficient. The room was big and clean. The breakfast was very Indoesian, which is ok, but it was kinda too much of a mixture ... but plenty of it. Good coffees available at extra charge. Nice big pool altho did not use it. Right in the middle of town so surrounded by restaurants and watering holes.

There was parking, but took a bit of moving of motorbikes ... anything more than 1 guest car will be a struggle. The aircon was hot, altho I do commend that the one maintenance guy (who also was on reception at checkout, and in the restaurant at breakfast - a Jack of all trades) did fill the freon and fix it within 30 minutes. But overall no real complaints.

We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing break in Kuta. They definitely have the comfiest bests in Lombok! The rooms are huge and have a lovely balcony overlooking the garden and pool. The pool is lovely, big enough to do lengths in and a nice shallow bit at one end which you can enjoy a drink in or safe for kids to paddle. The bar beside the pool was also a really nice vibe, we never got drinks but enjoyed the music they played. The gym isn’t amazing but it’s perfect for a basic workout - treadmill, dumbbells, bench, bar, pull-up rack, and multi purpose machine. You can connect your phone to the speaker which is nice. The breakfast is great. Huge selection of savoury and sweet dishes. The hotel also has numerous water dispensers so you can get water for free 24/7. The highlight is the staff. They are all so nice and accommodating, even surprising us with a birthday cake!

Great hotel and great location, right off the main strip. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. The pool and amenities at the hotel are amazing - the gym is great and has enough of the basics. The breakfast is a generous spread.

I have an allergy to dairy/lactose, so my breakfast options were limited to eggs, breads and fruit, but there are so many other great options for those without food allergies.
